Venezuela: Ilhan Omar Pushes Mike Pence Into Boomer Hysterics

The GOP is going to learn quickly and brutally that running a Campaign on “muh Socialism” fear-mongering is going to fall flat on its face with every age group under the age of 50.

Because, you see, younger Generation X, Millennials, and the first wave of Zoomers care about things like crushing student loan debt, rising rent costs, the lack of any employment possessing hope of advancement, and the dearth of employment paying more than $12/hr.

They don’t necessarily care about fulfilling heretical interpretations of Biblical prophecy, the rising DOW and median wage numbers that mean nothing when compared with $10-$12/hr retail gigs, or the idea of starving out a poor Brown country to ignite civil war in the name of “Democracy.”

Fox News:

“Women of color have heard this before. Instead of ‘We disagree,’ it’s ‘She doesn’t know what she’s talking about,’” Omar tweeted. “They have to make us feel small. This from an Administration that thinks climate change is a Chinese hoax.”

Earlier in the day, Pence accused Omar of not knowing “what she’s talking about” after she appeared to lay some responsibility for the ongoing situation in Venezuela on the Trump administration over its “bullying” tactics and sanctions.

Freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., fired back at Vice President Pence on Friday after he took issue with her remarks on the escalating tensions in Venezuela.

Earlier in the week, Omar made comments on PBS’ “Democracy Now!,” saying that “a lot of the policies that we have put in place has kind of helped lead the devastation in Venezuela and we have sort of set the stage for where we are arriving today.”

“This particular bullying and the use of sanctions to eventually intervene and make regime change really does not help the people of countries like Venezuela, and it certainly does not help and is not in the interest of the United States,” she added.

She is one hundred percent correct with this statement – America is now famous for utilizing economic blockade, sanctions, and embargoes to strangle nations perceived to be “the enemy” in order to stir internal tensions, humanitarian crises used to justify intervention, and overall misery for those in the line of fire.

The script for Venezuela was played almost identically with Saddam Hussein’s Iraq – minus the assertions of WMD (for now).

Pence separately took issue with those remarks on Thursday, accusing her on Twitter of picking “socialism over freedom.” He went on to extend the administration’s support to “the freedom-loving people of Venezuela.”

The man was literally reduced to becoming a walking meme of the declining Boomer generation – a clown that cites nonsense like “freedoms” while American youth struggle with wage slavery and heroin overdoses.

Can anyone reasonably imagine Pence winning a 2020 VP debate against someone like Tulsi Gabbard?

It would be “Shock and Awe” in terms of a beat-down.

  1. How the hell a turd knows what is best for the west? China is a growing threat and central America is their beachhead.

  2. “America is now famous for utilizing economic blockade, sanctions, and embargoes to strangle nations perceived to be “the enemy” in order to stir internal tensions, humanitarian crises used to justify intervention, and overall misery for those in the line of fire.”

Thoroughly pre 1990, mid 20th Century politics, designed to defeat Soviet influence outside of Europe.

It also harkens back to the late 19th Century. They’ve all but deployed the gunboats up Venezuela’s rivers.

One of the old heirloom politicos has already asked “where is our aircraft carrier?” in reference to Venezuela.

It’s in the North Sea, with our battleships, countering the Kaiser’s fleet, or the Soviet Navy, or some empire or other that no longer exists.

  3. Would WW II have happened if FDR has not put crushing embargoes on Japan calculated to cause its economic starvation and eventual collapse? Was it “Isolationism” that caused WW II by allowing the Japanese and Germans to rearm like liberals allege or was it globalist mechanization using sanctions as a form of covert warfare?

  4. “Because, you see, younger Generation X, Millennials, and the first wave of Zoomers care about things like crushing student loan debt, rising rent costs, the lack of any employment possessing hope of advancement, and the dearth of employment paying more than $12/hr.”

In other words, they care about the problems of the 21st Century, not those of the 19th and 20th.

Hopefully, once the Boomers pass on, their young protégés can be shoved to the side and displaced by the practitioners of 21st Century politics.

  5. “a clown that cites nonsense like “freedoms”

They still use the the obsolete and irrelevant term “Leader of the Free World.”

As if the Communist Block still exists.

  6. If Omar surprises Pence et al, I wonder what they were thinking in the 1980’s, when my family and I (voting for the first time) were ALREADY (almost 40 years ago!) tired of ‘too many furriners’ in OUR Country?!?! It was back then, I learned that Humphrey’s grandstanding two decades EARLIER, was merely acting the part of the shabbas goyim in front of the Celler/Hart Immigration time bomb. Celler was….. a Jew.

That was when my eyes began to be opened, somewhere around Reagan’s first term. As a tail-end Boomer, I know how utterly difficult it was for me, to learn that politicians are LIARS; and that they don’t CARE ONE IOTA for their country – you and I, in other words.

How can we do any more to awaken the rest of the country? I think you are right James: “once the Boomers pass on, their young protégés can be shoved to the side and displaced by the practitioners of 21st Century politics.” Misericordie, Domine.

  7. “Because, you see, younger Generation X, Millennials, and the first wave of Zoomers care about things like crushing student loan debt, rising rent costs, the lack of any employment possessing hope of advancement, and the dearth of employment paying more than $12/hr.”

In other words, they care about the problems that have been caused by the leftism of which you’re advocating more.

Gee, Mr. W., when I was in undergraduate school, decades ago, I felt like the lone anti-leftist, who was told he was on the wrong side of history or behind the times or whatever. I watched objections to leftism mocked as mindless concern about socialism–or “socialism,” as the left would mockingly call it.

Four decades later, I’m still seeing that nonsense, even from you, a neo-Confederate. I guess I’m now a “boomer,” mindlessly objecting to “socialism.”

Since my years in high school and undergrad extended from 1967 to 1975, there’s one thing I may claim to have seen and heard from its beginning, and that’s the counterculture and what has descended from it. It has been nonsense for more than half a century; and oddly enough, you, defender of statues of Robert E. Lee, are part of it.

  8. I know that this may be trivial and irrelevant, but I have these nagging questions about this clitless congresscritter from Minneaduchebag.

Does she really have the intellectual capacity to come up with her witty and carefully crafted remarks and the timing of same? After all, she hails from a chronic shithole nation with a mean IQ of 68. Maybe she is an outlier. If she lacks sufficient intellectual horsepower, then the only alternative explanation is that she is a brainless sock puppet. In which case, who would her people behind the curtain be?

And why hasn’t an indictment against her been pursued on the allegations of incestuous immigration marriage fraud?

  9. Omar is the product of Diversity which liberals and conservatives love and call me a naziwhowantstokillsixmillionjews for objecting to it. There are plenty more where she came from and no one in DC is lifting a finger to stop it.

Stop whining about her Pence. Anti-Whites like you asked for it.

Is there another way to the light? They know there isn’t.

  10. I think we should all reach out to the Iranian, Iraqi, Syrian, Libyan, Afghan, and Venezuelan communities in the US and tell them we do not endorse what our government has and is doing in their native lands. We all need to discuss who/what is behind it. So far, I’ve had conversations with Pakistanis, Indians, Iranians, and even a Thai and found we did agree on a lot of things. We’ve also discussed how their leaders are often complicit in the theatrics. We all need to come together. None of us will truly solve our problems not doing so. I’ve even had conversations with blacks who are well aware of the Jewish control at the top and I was shocked that they feared it as much as they did. We also agreed that Jews were not the only ones to blame and that powerful people in our own respective races were equally complicit in the negative situation worldwide.

A good number of years ago, my son and daughter went to a prepper meeting with some friends. One of their friends was virulently anti-Muslim. It was also a very patriotic meeting. My son ended up sitting next to a light skinned man who had a slight accent. They got to talk. He turned out to be a former Iraqi military man whose rank my son did not remember but was not really high up like a general. My son was wowed at how much they agreed on. He stated Iraq’s new leaders were in cohoots with the Americans and he understood the American people were victims as well. He also understood Sadam Hussein’s roots. He stated that the tribal leaders in many of those nations are heavily bribed and that they keep their people in the 16th century for control. Religion was only discussed in the format as being a people control mechanism. All religions. The anti-Muslim would barely talk to my son the rest of the night. I think it took 2 or 3 weeks before they spoke at length again. Brainwashing extraordinaire.

Remember, the late prime minister of Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto, was assassinated after she publicly stated that Osama Bin Laden was killed in December 2001. Of course, he was killed early on so he couldn’t tell his side of the story. I’m certain he was on the run since September 12th.

Let’s get that arrow pointing in the RIGHT direction.

  11. I have recently discovered this excellent youtube channel called TruNews. https://www.youtube.com/user/TRUNEWSofficial It is run by Evangelicals who just happen to be anti Zionist. They are highly woke on the JQ. I am astonished to find Evangelicals who don’t worship Israel, but I guess they are out there given these folks.

By the way, can we please helicopter drop leaflets debunking Christian Zionism on key churches across the South on Sundays?

Also, if anyone can recommend good books debunking Christian Zionism, please share here. Thanks.

  12. Thank you for the link of TruNews. Looks interesting. People are forming tribes that suit their interests and world view. Healthiest way to live nowadays.

  13.
