“Islam in Bosnian and Chechen is a different critter. “- Stonelifter
Just for the theological record, the Albanian/Bosnian Muslims defected from Orthodox Christianity in the early middle ages, and adopted a cultic heresy known as Bogomilism.. Which has almost exact overtones to contemporary Premillennial Dispensiationalism. (Scofieldism, for the layman)
Someone wrote that THAT was why it was so easy to ‘tip’ them over, into being Muslims. They were already non-Trinitarian heretics, anyway.
(Mosin, Lynda, see the connections? Or anyone else?) Orthodoxia ki thanatos.
One would think it’s Sunday. Fr John is all over the “OD” preaching on every commentary thread. Gee. I thought it was Weds.
Fr John practices his sermons on us during the week, so his Official Sunday Sermon at whatever church* he does Preach at on Sunday will be Blessed Perfection.
*I’m not sure exactly what church Fr John belongs to. He’s very unclear, and as usual for Fr John, disambiguous about it.
I don’t know. It’s all Greek to me.
I guess the Southerners speak Greek down in Dixie ; I learned something new today.
What does “Orthodoxia ki thanatos” have to do with Dixie?
I don’t know. It’s all Greek to me.
@Fr John
You mentioned “Tabula Rasa” in one of your many posts to this thread of comments. Where is Tabula? Maybe you know? You mentioned Tabula, so that’s why I’m asking you. He hasn’t posted anything for awhile now. I hope he’s okay.
