An African-American male was disrespected today in the Gate City projects in Birmingham. Shots were fired. A bystander holding an infant was fatally shot in her doorway. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
Note: Exactly a month ago, OD reported that two sucka’s wuz shot in the Gate City projects following another homicide there earlier in March.
In the previous post, I noted that Gate City was described as a safe, White working class area in the 1950s. Marks Village was a segregated, Whites-only housing project in Bull Connor’s Birmingham.
In 1951, there were 44 homicides in Birmingham, when there were 326,037 people living there – the homicide rate per 100,000 was 13.49. In 2012, there were 77 homicides in Birmingham, although the population had declined to 212,237 by the 2010 Census – the homicide rate per 100,000 was 36.28.
No one has been taken into custody. Police just issued a lookout bulletin for a black male in a white tank top and a black female in a yellow shirt who is missing some braids.
God forgive me but that made me laugh…..maybe her braids are blowing around somewhere in that video?

I don’t know how I ran across this website but I am deeply disturbed by the opinions expressed. As a 7th generation white Texan, a son of the republic of Texas, and as someone who spent a year and a half leading a bible study in Gate City while I lived in Birmingham I feel I have a right to share. I am glad that we have the right to free speech in this country so I am also going to use that right to share from the Word of God and in the spirit of the website’s name I am going to disagree with and let the Word of God expose what has been shared here:

I pray that we learn from the example of Sodom and repent of this evil before we fall to the same fate. Instead of throwing stones at people you look down on, why don’t we invest in the good of ALL HUMAN BEINGS (ALL ARE MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD) and allow God to use us to bring His Kingdom, hope, and love into areas of the city that we have turned our backs on. This would be true dissent from the spirit of our age where people are naturally afraid, suspicious, and hateful of people they don’t understand or agree with.
I don’t know you and I don’t want to assume I know the reasons for the views that you hold. I just ask you to please reconsider and for the good of yourself and your fellow man think again about why you hold the convictions you do. Please, the welfare of your neighbor and your city depend on it.
This article is old so there may not be anyone that reads this, but if you are, know that YOU are not beyond the forgiveness and love of God. Repent and embrace the salvation of Jesus Christ that is for the good of all who believe, seeking the good of your neighbor just as Jesus sought our good, dying for us even when we sinned against Him.
Oh God, may your Kingdom come, and your Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Last time I checked, 100 percent of homicide in Birmingham was being committed by the black population. That’s why I hold the views that I do. No one else in Birmingham is murdering people at anywhere close to that astronomical rate.
As for human beings, I suggest you drive Over the Mountain into the parallel civilization that exists in the Shades Valley. There are Christians there too, but for some reason women aren’t gunned down there while holding babies in their arms.
Except for the few race realists among them, John McMeans is a perfect example of the typical White Christian brainwashed into believing it is virtuous and honorable to be destroyed by negroes and and non-Whites in the service of God.
