Here’s the latest nonsense from Rand Paul:
“Anyone who thinks race does not skew the application of criminal justice in this country is just not paying close enough attention, Sen. Rand Paul writes for TIME, amid violence in Ferguson, Mo. over the police shooting death of Michael Brown …”
What’s perplexing to me is how Rand and other GOP politicians go out of their way to reach out and accommodate blacks and Hispanics without any fear of alienating their White base. Rand will complain about the criminal justice system and yet refuses to acknowledge objective data regarding race and crime. Blacks commit violent crime against Whites at a far higher rate than Whites against blacks. Rand cares nothing about the plight of Whites who have been victimized by blacks. Instead of just admitting that most blacks in prison are where they deserve to be, he implicitly complains about how racist the criminal justice system is in order to curry favor from blacks. Rand cannot win an election with 100% of the black vote and no support from Whites. These guys bend over backward to accommodate blacks, illegals, and every other interest group except Whites. Just more proof of our dispossession.
Rand wouldn’t get much of the black vote anyway, because the Democrat would promise more welfare, which is the real wish of the black voter.
You’re right. No more than roughly 5%-8% of the blacks will consider to vote for him. And that’s the typical percentage of blacks that vote for the GOP in any election. That’s why none of this makes sense. This is a high cost and low gain proposition. Libertarianism only appeals to around 10% of the public. From a numbers perspective it would make more sense for Rand to try to sell his ideology to Whites since relatively few Whites are libertarians. For the GOP as a whole, their biggest electoral problem is not that they under perform with black and Hispanics (and hence these laughable outreach efforts), it’s that they under perform with White voters in the northeast and Midwest. They have far more to gain from reaching out to working class Whites than their fruitless efforts to reach out to blacks and Hispanics. So none of this outreach has anything to do with trying to form a winning electoral coalition. It’s that people like Rand (I believe) are so full of White guilt that can’t look they can’t look themselves in the mirror if black people don’t like them.
Not much? More like 0%. Same as pandering Jack Kemp.
It probably has more to do with white voters who care about such things, and we’ll see how many of them there are when he runs. I’d expect that the vast majority simply don’t care one way or the other.
Because…while the cops have doing a good job keeping things relatively under control during the last two nights, after the fateful Sunday night, it’s obviously a BFD that they’re using 5.62 rifles and .45 pistols that the Pentagon gave them for free.
This is why our movement(s), and I’m casting a broad net here, simply must put a lot of distance between itself/ourselves and right-libertarian ideology, maybe even a Berlin Wall.
“5.62” ? (I’m dyin’ to hear this one…)
Crap! Just when I thought I was gonna be content with the newness of the 6.8 and 6.5 Grendel, a new caliber comes along.
My mistake, I was supposed to write 5.56
http://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2014/08/13/ferguson-police-michael-brown-militarization-column/14006383/
Even though the St. Louis County department has them, that doesn’t mean they necessarily used them in Ferguson. It could have been all the stuff they used was stuff they bought and paid for. And the response the last two days that kept the undertow in check somewhat is no more “militaristic” in appearance or substance than any other credible effective riot response of the past.
Paul is an idiot tool of the cheap labor lobby
The Romney of 2016?
I can imagine him getting the ultimatum: be the Romney of 2016, or kiss your chances goodbye.
Roll the fucking tanks in pronto.
Technically, that sentence can be construed to be quite supportive of the Southern Cause.
Isn’t the answer Partition?
Looks like Rand Paul is pandering his way to be the next Jack Kemp clone VP for the Republican Party. The anti White, Lying Lib Media loves these pandering Libertarian talkers as GOP Vice Presidents for so many reasons:
1) Jack Kemp, Paul Ryan, now Rand Paul confirm the cultural Marxist fairy tale world that pre 1965 White America was completely evil and needed to be reconstructed, and that a brave new world of racial equality (BRA) is about to come, only there are some policy disagreements on the best way to make it come. lib Dems want endless government programs, pandering Libertarian economic conservatives think vouchers for ghetto blacks to attend White private schools, ending child labor laws, getting rid of the border
A troll or 90% of police activities in cities – that’s the answer – give urban Blacks the “freedom to choose” and they will supposedly choose to do productive good things instead of joining street gangs and doing murder and mayhem.
The lying MSM media also likes pandering Libertarian economic Conservatives like Rand Paul and Jack Kemp for GOP vice Preident because these types ….
Always lose. Blacks, Latrinons, homosexual extremists still vote the most Left Dem, and regular working class Whites, senior citizens, folks in the military they solidly reject Libertarianism, economic conservatism as something only extrem rich people, or know it all intellectual wonks go for. The Working Man does not go in for Libertarianism, nor does the White working man appreciate cowardly Libertarians like Rand Paul who run away from rabbits and make excuses for Blacks rioting, raping, doing murder and mayhem.
So, if you want to know why Rand Paul gets access to the cursed MSM mainstream media like Time Magazine and we don’t – the cursed MSM wants to spread the meme that Rand Paul style conservatism is the only type of Conservatism that will be allowed, the only kind of Conservatism that is fit to print and Black riots, Black violence, mayhem is always the fault of evil White racism.
Any questions?
I think an even better way of putting it is that TPTB are manufacturing kabuki theater and shadow boxing between the RINO centrist establishmentarians and right-libertarians. Trying to cast one as the “sensible” alternative to the other. Now, there might actually be a lot of political angst if now worse between the two camps, however, their problems with each other are not relevant or germane to us, because both are wrong on race and similar social issues.
It’s like the way the national media and other media are treating Ferguson: The only “permissible” reaction that the right of center universe is supposed to have is that of an abstract libertarian concern over the way the various law enforcement agencies that did a good job keeping things relatively under control on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights, keeping the mess from spreading, is “militarized,” (even though it really wasn’t in this matter). Noticing the black undertow and the Zimbabweification of Ferguson and the racial coup is verboten, outside the Overton Window.
Well another politician sticking his nose into a criminal justice matter without any evidence of what he is saying is true.
Here is what I say back to Rand: Anyone who thinks race does not skew the application of CRIME in this country is just not paying close enough attention.
So who do you stand with Rand? The criminals or the victims.
I now turn my back to Rand instead of standing with him.

Rand Paul now has a virtual army of Washington staff members and a growing campaign war chest, free access to the cursed anti White, anti Southern MSM media. His betrayal of his Southern Conservative voting base in Kentucky has enriched him and his staff. They are drunk with power.

How about if I just don’t care whether race skews criminal justice or not. How about that I just don’t care about blacks or what happens to them at all at this point. All I’ve heard my whole life from this group is bellyaching and whining. I don’t want to hear anything else out of them, period. I wish we could just herd them all up onto a rocket and shoot them into the sun.
Rand Paul stabbing Whites in the back at every opportunity.

Rand Paul: Republicans Who Favor Voter ID Laws Make Party Look Racist…
Rand auditioning for a role on MSNBC?
Via Politico:
Sen. Rand Paul on Thursday blasted his own party for making it tougher for minorities to vote.
The Kentucky Republican, a likely presidential candidate, has long argued that drug laws disproportionately affect minorities and has also championed restoring voting rights for some non-violent felons. He laid out those views in a speech at the Liberty PAC conference, a gathering tied to his father, libertarian icon Ron Paul.
“So many times, Republicans are seen as this party of, ‘We don’t want black people to vote because they’re voting Democrat, we don’t want Hispanic people to vote because they’re voting Democrat,’” he said. “We wonder why the Republican Party is so small. Why don’t we be the party that’s for people voting, for voting rights?”
He also skewered what he characterized as excessive use of force by police in Ferguson, Missouri, where an unarmed teenager was shot by a police officer, an incident that kicked off weeks of protests fueled by racial tensions.
Loyal robots of the controlled Tea Party always loved Rand Paul almost as much as they love Ben Carson. They were also taught to fear Ron Paul.
Rand is seen as definitely standing with Israel, but they aren’t so sure of Ron who seems to be soft on Muslims. That’s their most important criterion.
