DREAMer Detained By ICE After Speaking At Pro-Amnesty Rally

It is about time we started arresting these people.

WTF is Jose Antonio Vargas still doing here? He should have been the first to go in January:

“Moments after an immigrant spoke out about her fears of deportation, she was detained by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement.

Daniela Vargas, 22, was detained by ICE agents Wednesday morning, shortly after speaking at a news conference in downtown Jackson, according to her attorney, Abby Peterson.

The news conference was hosted by local immigration attorneys, churches and the Mississippi Immigrants Rights Alliance to bring attention to families impacted by deportation.

Vargas’ brother and father were detained outside their home by ICE agents in February. Vargas hid in the closet. When she was discovered by agents, she was temporarily handcuffed and then released.

Vargas was 7 years old when her family came to America from Argentina, placing her under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, immigration policy. Under the policy, DACA recipients have to reapply every two years. Vargas’ DACA is expired but her renewal application is pending. …

Elmore implored Mississippians to “think about these families, think about these immigrants.”

Trust me.

The general sentiment in Mississippi is we have been dreaming about this moment for years and that these people who broke into our states need to pack their shit and GTFO.

  1. This afternoon when i showed some friends my phone with this headline on my FB there was a genuine LOL moment. We are in Mississippi, so I can personally confirm your last line of this article.

    • I am also in Mississippi. Fortunately there are a lot of people from here that aren’t buying this sob story.

  2. Are we sure that was a female?

Even if she wasn’t here illegally, I can’t say I’d be heartbroken to see her go.

    • When I first saw that photo I thought it was an effeminate guy. This person definitely won’t be missed.

  3. I really don’t think the country needs another lesbian woman’s studies major, which – by the look of her – she is well on her way to becoming.

This whole DACA thing is a load of crap. The media describes it as “a policy” – well, they can’t describe it as “a law”, because Congress rejected it as such. Obama illegally enacted it as policy anyway. Trump is under no obligation to retain this “Dreamer” nonsense.

Also, I noticed this, from Huffpo:

“Eventually, she says, ICE agents forced their way in with a warrant, guns raised. The house was searched ? officers had previously found a gun, which Vargas said the family owned for protection ? and she was handcuffed. As local news reporters arrived, she was eventually released.”

So, someone in the household is guilty of a firearms violation. When purchasing a gun from a FFL dealer, one is required to fill out a form for the background check. As I recall, one of the questions on the form is whether or not a legal resident. If I am not mistaken, it is illegal for a non legal resident alien to have a firearm. Are anti-2nd-amendment liberals going to support throwing the book at these people as they undoubtedly would for a white citizen who illegally purchased a firearm?

  4. It’s funny for all the years they claimed the illegals “lived in the shadows”, but for once it’s true.

  5. Amen Hunter. I hope this begins to happen all over. I just noticed NO illegals hanging out at the local Home Depot.

  6. “Elmore implored Mississippians to “think about these families, think about these immigrants.”

He’s a Carpet Bagging, Cuckservative Scallywag.

    • Yes we are thinking about them. Thinking about what a better place Mississippi will be when they leave.

We have way too much competition for manual labor as it is.

But they will be fine. Their countries need reverse immigration to pay for all their old age pensions. And all that new labor will boost their native economies.

  7. Update: Her DACA ran out last November and she spent nearly $500 for re-application mid-February. Shouldn’t have waited. She’s being deported back to Argentina immediately, without a hearing. Perfectly legal and just. Buh-bye!
