I agree with this assessment.

Woke Bernie bombed in the 2020 Democratic primary. Joe won the primary and was elected president because his campaign kept that stuff at arm’s length and it still hurt him with Hispanics and was a massive boon to Trump and House Republicans. Joe’s handlers are in power now though.

“As Democrats go, JOE BIDEN may be among the least woke — at least rhetorically. And, often, he hasn’t tried to hide it.

His Democratic primary campaign took pride in its un-wokeness. Campaign staff scoffed at rival primary candidates and reporters that used terms like “intersectionality” or other phrases popular with the left-wing of the party. They viewed it as forced and, to a large degree, out of touch with regular voters—including the very voters to whom that language was meant to appeal. …

But now that Biden is in office, his administration is proving to be far more woke than the Biden primary campaign ever was.

The White House posted a video on Twitter and Instagram with climate adviser GINA McCARTHY discussing why “climate change is an intersectional issue.” His administration is working with the ACLU on an executive order that would allow “X” gender markers on passports and social security cards for nonbinary and intersex people. The “contact us” form on the White House website offers users the option to list their pronouns.

His United States Citizenship and Immigration Services agency sent a memo to stop using the word “assimilation” and use “integration” instead. People who apply for green cards ought to be referred to as “customers,” BuzzFeed News reported. A comprehensive fact-sheet on the Biden transition after the inauguration boasted about the number of “Latinx” people in the Cabinet. The word “equality” is out and “equity” is in. …”

Michelle Goldberg is whining about the campaign to cancel wokeness.

New York Times:

“It’s something of a truism, particularly on the right, that conservatives have claimed the mantle of free speech from an intolerant left that is afraid to engage with uncomfortable ideas. Every embarrassing example of woke overreach — each ill-considered school board decision or high-profile campus meltdown — fuels this perception.

Yet when it comes to outright government censorship, it is the right that’s on the offense. Critical race theory, the intellectual tradition undergirding concepts like white privilege and microaggressions, is often blamed for fomenting what critics call cancel culture. And so, around America and even overseas, people who don’t like cancel culture are on an ironic quest to cancel the promotion of critical race theory in public forums. …”

Joe is senile.

He doesn’t have a clue what is going on around him. The brats are running the show and now they are making moves and people are beginning to notice the switch.

In the 2020 election, Joe had a lot of things going for him that House and Senate Democrats won’t have going for them in 2022. They won’t have COVID to run against which was the biggest issue in 2020. They won’t have Donald Trump as president and Not Trump will have become Joe Biden. They will have amassed a record on polarizing culture war issues while disappointing their base on economics.

The brats are an asset to us because they are insufferable and have an almost divine talent for confusing, alienating and polarizing almost everyone around them. Their own political allies secretly hate them and live in fear of them. You never know when you will say the wrong thing and hit a trip wire and have to fall on your sword after hysterical accusations of “racism” or causing them “trauma.” They will ruin the Biden presidency and turn it into Star Trek: Discovery or Ghostbusters. They’ve narrowed the appeal of everything else they have touched and their rise to power in the Democratic Party will be no different.

It was only about five years ago that they started coming to power and heedless of the long term consequences started demanding the censorship of all their political enemies.
