Poll: Biden Voters Abandon Him In Droves

It has been a slow news week.

There isn’t much to report on except for the fact that the images of chaos coming out of Afghanistan last month have been replaced by images of the chaos on the border due to the Haitian invasion in Del Rio, TX. The Democrats are also bogged down in negotiations over how to use budget reconciliation to pass their two massive spending bills in Congress. No one really knows at the moment how that will ultimately shake out although it seems more likely that the progressives will surrender again to Joe Manchin.

Now that Blumpf has largely disappeared from the public stage, the Biden coalition is falling apart. Specifically, Joe Biden is losing the swing voters who elected him president: suburbanites, White college educated voters, Independents, moderates, women and middle class voters.

TIPP:

“If an election were held today, a substantial number of those who voted President Joe Biden in November wouldn’t do so now, a new I&I/TIPP Poll shows. This comes after a spate of recent polls from TIPP and others suggesting Biden’s political support is in a freefall as Americans question his leadership on issues ranging from COVID-19 to the chaos on the U.S.’ southern border to the recent botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. …

Also interesting is where Biden lost the most support – among women, suburbanites, moderates, and the middle-class. In other words, the key groups that helped put him in the White House.

The poll found that only 49% of women said they’d vote for Biden today, down from 57% who said they did so in November. Among suburbanites, 41% would vote for Biden now, down from 48% who’d actually cast their ballot for him.

Biden’s support among moderates went from 56% to 47%. Among those making between $50,000 and $75,000, it fell from 54% to 44%. …

September was the biggest monthly decline in the IBD/TIPP Presidential Leadership Index’s history, plunging 9.3 points, from 58.7 to 49.8, a 15.8 percent decline.

President Biden’s decline surpasses President George W. Bush’s previous monthly record of 15.6% set in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in September 2005.

It is also the largest monthly point drop, surpassing President Bush’s April 2001 drop of 8.7 points. …”

We always knew the Joe Biden honeymoon would end this summer. It turns out though that he has suffered the biggest drop in the polls of any president in the last thirty years.

In the aftermath of the 2020 election, we dissected the election results and concluded that it wasn’t fraud. Trump improved with non-White votes. Donald Trump lost the election because he lost moderates and Independents in the suburbs. He lost because he lost too many White voters who were just tired of him and who thought he was an asshole and who voted for Joe Biden largely because of COVID.

Now that Trump is gone and Joe Biden has failed to tackle COVID due to the Delta variant and “hot vax summer” was a flop and life hasn’t returned to normal as had been promised, Joe Biden is cratering with those people. COVID is driving our politics, the weather is cooling off and fall is here. How bad will COVID get this winter? Will there be yet another variant that is worse than Delta? Can the Democrats hold their coalition together if they are equally exposed as being unable to handle COVID?

Note: Mike Lindell is saying that Trump could be reinstated by the Supreme Court after Thanksgiving. Don’t hold your breath.

  1. There’s a saying in Australian politics:- ‘the only poll that matters is the one on election day’. We’ve had many election results that went against what the polls were telling us. I’m sure it was the same in America in 2020 with the Biden win. Polling companies are often useless in predicting outcomes, and are best ignored. Plus, the next election is some time away yet. Finally, whoever wins, nothing will change.
It’s time to vote polling companies out of office!
The Biden win should have taught us something.

  2. I think a lot of people, no matter what their political persuasion is, don’t want the vax. They’ve seen too many problems happen to people they know or work with.
I think the whole vax mandate hits closer to home, with the threat of even dying from it, and no one can sue or hold anyone accountable. The threat of losing one’s job in this economy is really more important than Afghanistan.

    • Yes, it is true that ordinary people deeply care about the vaccine. For whatever reason, that is the issue that animates them. It is personal. It is about being bossed around and not having control over your own body.

      • Italy ordered companies not to pay unvax workers. Just more proof that this targets whites. https://www.npr.org/sections/coronavirus-live-updates/2021/09/17/1038240183/italy-vaccine-health-pass-for-employees
Mexicans are exempt in the US. Now why is that? Why would one group, the hispanics, be exempt? Think about it. Liberals think it’s because we don’t want to spend money on them, but maybe it’s the opposite…maybe it exempts them from some genetic modification.

It’s not all about control and not being bossed around…it IS part of it, but it’s more than that. It’s a real fear that the vaccine is deception for some genetic modification. People are showing up with strange symptoms, people are dying, and vaccinated people are coming down with Covid. It’s more than obvious that they can’t get rid of us fast enough.

If someone is planning on having children, they shouldn’t get it, IMO.

    • He tells the tale of being a former crackhead and going on 12 day bingers in the Minneapolis Ghetto. The tale is either another one of those “million pieces” type fictions like that dude who conned Oprah, or the guy just takes everything he gets involved with to lunatic extremes.

  3. Biden made the mistake of allowing the leftist fringe to craft his policies. People voted for him because he was viewed as a moderate and stable choice. But instead of cooling down the polarization, he instead went hard on the culture war and has been amplifying it.

    • Hard to tell if he’s so senile he’s letting himself be a puppet like “John Gill” on the old Star Trek Episode Patterns of Force or if he’s always just been a dummy as other’s in his own party have alleged all along?

  4. Republican Presidents: Promises made, promises not kept.

Democrat Presidents: Promises made, promises not kept.

Democrat and Republican Presidents: Promises made and promises kept to Israel.

  5. It doesn’t matter. In the current system you only get to choose between Tweedle-dum and Tweedle-dee.

  6. This gives a clearer explanation for this phenomena. The slide Biden is seeing is also being seen by Trump in the same polls.

Its between election cycles and a year out from the midterms. Nobody has any fux to give about the brrad and circuses, and only the most extreme shit like Afghanistan and the border are moving the needle. All of these things are counter to Biden right now.

I consider this a non story.

  7. I still can’t wrap my head around people that outright supported Biden to win. Worse is not better if that even has to be repeated at this point. The damage at the border is permanent and can’t be undone.

  8. Seeing as how some states had to count votes for weeks at a time to put the ridiculous old fart in there in the first place, one wouldn’t think he had a whole lot of credibility to lose.
