I actually agree with something Fareed Zakaria says here.
Twitter is a glorified chat room. No one watches cable television. It is political junkies who dominate both and who live in bubbles. The rise of Dump makes sense in this carnival landscape. Mainstream politics is fake and mostly performance art. The policies are sold to the donors.
