Kamala Harris Proposes Federal Takeover of Food Industry

If you loved Joe Biden’s inflation, you will love Kamala’s follow up punch.

Note: I will be speaking at a conference this weekend. I doubt I will have time to post more articles until next week.

  1. Kamala like Biden has no clue what is going, she does what she is told. This price control was inevitable, the rot of society will eventually rot the economy. Economic control measures will increasingly be introduce to keep things from imploding

    • As I’ve posted dozens of times,
It will be natural forces that alter the direction of this society, not human forethought, not insight, not the planning of superior minds.

Just brute nature and all the associated suffering.

  2. That should work just dandy. With the government being so good at doing the things it’s actually mandated to do, like defend the country’s borders, I’m sure they’ll do an equally superb job at ensuring plenty of food at reasonable prices….

With at least four generations taught by the great academic minds of the National Educmacation Association and the Murikan Federation of Teachers, a large segment idiocracy actually thinks this might be a good idea. The Gods of the Copybook Heading laugh out loud.

    • “they’ll do an equally superb job at ensuring plenty of food”

But it will give them lots of power.

“Comrade, you posted an offensive meme, your EBT ration card has been voided.”

      • “””…..“Comrade, you posted an offensive meme, your EBT ration card has been voided.”…..”””

Absolutely this is how it works.

        1. Price control does not work. Honest farmers go bankrupt, dishonest farmers start selling in black market. And so emerges terrible food shortage.
        2. Now Government makes the rule that there will be no food market. Every farmer must sell all his food to Government and then Government redistributes food so everybody gets a little bit.
        3. This creates terrible mess so food shortages gets worse. For example in late Soviet Union they transported food from Baltic states to Far East. 2 weeks and 10 000 kilometers. Most went lost, was rotten or stolen. So central redistribution makes thongs worse. So the Government begin to search excuses to take away food from some people. You are not entitled and those other guys too.
        4. Now those areas who produce most food start starving, feel betrayed and begin defend their resources from central planners but also from buyers from other part of country. Our food for our people only.
5.Usualy this is made with some sort of food stamps. Local Government gives people special stamps so they can use them to buy local food.
        6. Some people eat less, some people grow themselves something, some people do not like some foods…so those stamps will be on the free market. For example you need cigarettes and you dont like sugar. So you barter your sugar stamps to cigarettes.
        7. Now those stamps become more like early money. Central Government is panicked and makes last stand to keep state together. Counties will fight back and so the secession begins.

Soviet Union went down this way.

        • ” Most went lost, was rotten or stolen. ”

Just like the Ukraine, commissars horded all the harvest into giant ill built granaries where it all rotted, causing the giant famines in the Ukraine

        • farmers get pennies on the dollar for produce. the monopoly food processors and suppliers get all of the income.

USSR was focused on production increases. transportation was grossly underfunded. Outside of boondocks, and before gorbi’s capitilist reforms, food consumption was on par with W. Europe.

  3. Inflation was generally lower under Obama’s 2nd term than under Trump’s only term.
Conservatards are scared of even a bit of socialism, but Europe is significantly more socialist than the US and consequently a significantly better place to live, in many respects.
FDR’s policies helped America get out of the depression.
Reaganomics threw the working class under the bus.
There has been plenty of inflation under conservative leadership in the US, and everywhere, because conservatives write corporations a blank check.
I’m not saying liberals are good, just often a bit better on economics, especially if you’re working class.

    • @Karl Logan,

“Conservatards are scared of even a bit of socialism, but Europe is significantly more socialist than the US and consequently a significantly better place to live, in many respects.”

Socialism didn’t make Europe better. Rather than have developer friendly, car oriented, mass consumption, corporate derived regulations, rules and planning like in the US, the Europeans just had more and better internal trade regulations, restrictive planning on development and zoning, and more stringent quality of life rules. In short it was a more confederated system at both sovereign and union levels than the US. The result was a more resilient local petite bougousie socio-economy.

In many ways, the old EEC and early RU more reflected the early American republic. That republic was destroyed by mass democracy, the reduction in internal trade barriers, more centralization, and the Civil War. In turn, as the EU has centralized more, and its major corporations have become more unfettered and conglomerated, the EU more reflects shithole America.

Also, we shouldn’t forget the socio-economic class differences in leadership and means of elections. Until recently, National governments in the EU and at the EU central bureaucratic level had a preponderance of Aryan nobility and rural upper classes in leadership. In contrast America has had a preponderance, Midwestern Central European peasants, Italians paizzones, Nordic slave stock and corporate financiers in leadership, and that was before the Meztizos, Asians, and N@ggers came in. As to election systems, America has a big donor money driven mass electioneering system, whereas until recently most European national governments had more local oriented, candidate driven electioneering system.

What was good about Europe had almost zero to do with Socialism. The only thing that offered was limiting the conglomeration of private capital. It still conglomerates though under mass government bureaucrats, which was almost as lame but at least were national controlled.

So, what was really good about Europe was its equal elite and bougousie localism, its internal trade barriers, zoning restrictions, urban planning, and fragmented nature of Europe itself. All gone thanks to the EU. Lastly, let’s not forget the quality of people. Less White people and less Aryans in control now though. The result EU looks more like shithole America every day.

      • All those things you mentioned, about regulating the economy to protect the interests of local and small business owners from the monopolists and promote competition, would be labelled socialist by republicans.
Even if it’s not socialist in a stricter sense of the word, it’s still regulation and perhaps in some cases redistribution, and republicans are opposed to any and all regulation that doesn’t benefit the few at the expense of the many.
Europe, is better off because it looks out for small business owners, but also because it protects the interests of consumers, workers and working families, so they’re not in a constant state of fear of being homeless, hungry and/or sick should they fall on hard times, because it ensures they have a decent standard of living and opportunities to get ahead instead of being forever trapped in desperation, which’s of course where capitalists like to keep them, afraid, ignorant and obedient.

        • “All those things you mentioned, about regulating the economy to protect the interests of local and small business owners from the monopolists and promote competition, would be labelled socialist by republicans.”

Not entirely true. Plenty of places where local and state Republicans do that. Particularly in the Midwest. But, it is partly true there is a faction that makes those claims. Ironically, its also the faction that calls itself the Fiscal conservatives, or Free Market Republicans. This is the Libertarian wing.

These Libertarians are responsible for almost all the failures the GOP has had in securing policy and party dominance. Trump run in 2016 as the opposite of them. Those are the original MAGA Republicans. Its up for grabs where the GOP will go from here though now. So, dont waste the opportunity. Entry and involve to seize the party.

    • “FDR’s policies helped America get out of the depression”

      Bawahahaha,
The only thing that ended the depression was WW2.
He started tooling up for war in the mid 30s, building giant battleships and long range bombers

    • Europe is Whiter than the US. That’s why it’s better in many aspects.
FDR’s “policy” of allowing Japan to bomb Pearl Harbor and wage undeclared war on Germany certainly did get the country out of the Depression.

      • “Europe is Whiter than the US. That’s why it’s better in many aspects.”

        Yep,

        Iceland is a perfect example.
People living on a frozen rock in the middle of the North Atlantic with only two resources, fisheries and geothermal.

        Haiti being the antithesis.

  4. I mean the financial crisis of 08 happened under Bush, hello?
And the Biden admin inherited a post-covid economy, so hard to blame them for everything that went wrong.

  5. Penalizing grocery corporations for gouging consumers for a necessity like food s but a government takeover of the food industry. During Covid, groceries realized how much people would pay for food & delivery. Most was due to supply chain issues.

After Covid when supply chains were no longer an issue, they kept prices high & tacked in a percentage of delivery fees, even when groceries are not delivered.

Worse, see Kroger, which surges prices during peak shopping times to triple max profits. This is all documented & is the real cause of grocery inflation. Greed-flation.

Someone should have done something about this 4 years ago.

    https://www.forbes.com/sites/errolschweizer/2024/02/07/why-your-groceries-are-still-so-expensive/

    • There is no question corporate types are greedy scumbags, experts at wringing economic rents when the situation permits, such as Covid. It is also true that the food system is immensely complicated and impossible for the Government to rationally control, all they will do is screw it up. In the 1970’s the U.S. Government regulated the price of oil, gasoline and diesel resulting in shortages, excess fuel in some places and high prices everywhere. The fuel system is simple compared to the food system.

One example of this is Cold Chain logistics, the system that delivers fresh strawberries, oranges, bananas, blueberries etc. in the winter as well as frozen food year round. It is electricity intensive and time sensitive, no one wants three week old “fresh” fish. It relies upon coordinated rail, air, truck and ship logistics to function. Government bureaucrats would set prices on food too low for shippers to recover fuel costs which the Government would set too high because of their fraud known as “The Green New Deal” and bogus climate change fear. There would be shortages everywhere for everything.

Yes, businessmen are greedy. That is the engine of capitalism which Adam Smith recognized in his Wealth of Nations describing them as:

” “the mean rapacity, the monopolizing spirit of merchants and manufacturers, who neither are, nor ought to be, the rulers of mankind.”

      https://www.britannica.com/topic/the-Wealth-of-Nations

Unfortunately, the corrupt political system in the U.S. is rule by oligarchs who will use their control of politicians for private advantage. The current system without Government setting prices may be bad but Cackling Calico Kamala’s medicine is like taking ten grains of arsenic for a headache instead of ten grains of aspirin.

      • Good quote of Adam Smith, who is not well understood by most people.

        Re: “Cackling Calico Kamala’s medicine”:

Forget her. She is a cypher, a mere puppet mouthpiece of the U.sury S.ystem (the U.S.) which ALREADY sets prices by protecting and supporting the monopolies of the capitalist class. The U.S. only makes a show of breaking up monopolies and controlling prices, sometimes.

        • Indeed, Cackling Calico Kamala is an empty vessel, repeating what she is told and receiving treats like a dog in return for her obedience. Trump is hated by the Deep State which is intensely worried over his potential presidency, probably for no reason. That is the nature of despotic regimes, they see internal and external enemies where there are none because they know their only loyalty is purchased and they are fundamentally criminals.

The Stable Genius will not rock the boat too much and agrees %100 with Cackling Calico Kamala on policies towards Our Greatest Ally. Our Greatest Ally has them both by the balls, controlling their money and with copious blackmail to use if they stray one inch off the reservation.

It’s Our Greatest Ally which has the U.S. as a colony, not the other way around, they are the tail that wags the dog. There is no logical explanation for U.S. policies going back decades, supporting Our Greatest Ally that have cost the U.S. a fortune, provoked wars, alienated the Arab world (where the oil is) and cost lives. There is no advantage to U.S. national interests in constantly supporting Our Greatest Ally, only steep costs. The only logical explanation for this long term destructive policy of support is bribery and blackmail regarding U.S. and other politicians. I know, the truth sucks.

    • “Worse, see Kroger, which surges prices during peak shopping times”

Did you see where Walmart is going to introduce electronic price signs on the shelves, so they can change prices second by second during the day?

    • “Penalizing grocery corporations for gouging consumers for a necessity like”….

…..rent, house prices, new cars, insurance, property taxes, on and on.

All consequences of massive/addictive money printing.

  6. “Muh, Worse IS BETTER!” Soon “muh, Uncle Adolf” will return. Vote more harder for Kamela. ROAR!

Narrator background voice: “Of, course you could end up getting Joseph Stalin….Deportation of all Southerners to Siberia loading on Train Track 3. All aboard!”

    • I like to boast about not sharing the view that all we have to do to bring back “National Socialism” is lose enough elections or enough of our rights and liberties and standard of living.

There was this thing called the 2020 election where Trump lost and Biden won and “worse is better” came true and four years later those guys are less organized and Hitler still hasn’t come back and Trump hasn’t gone away.

      • “I like to boast about not sharing the view that all we have to do to bring back “National Socialism” is lose enough elections or enough of our rights and liberties and standard of living.”

Basically, there is a faction of the NSM movement that thinks this way. Make us more Weimar for Weimar solutions stuff. Not necessarily a bad strategy.

Unfortunately, the NSM is one of those Attorney General designations that allows domestic covert war against them by the Feds. So, we have a situation where Weimar solutions are not just a strategically thought out end game but also a potential Fed manipulated provocation.

Finally, there is the third faction, the communists inside the NSM. Like the NSM true believers they understand the strategy of making chaos to seize opportunities. But, unlike the NSM true believers playing the checkers version, they are playing the 3d chess version.

The commie strategy, and one well played out over a century, is to ensure competitors like the NSM don’t seize the opportunity should Weimar solutions be necessary thereby ensuring Bolshevik solutions are the only ones left. Note, there are few Leftwing organizations on the AG designation list.

      • It was obscene Zionist stooges GW Bush and Donald Trump that respectively to Obama and Biden. It was eight years of Obama that led to the opening for Trump’s rhetoric. Then four years of disasters, culminating in his push for the deadly vaccine. The people who supported the vax, pretended it was safe, especially on the Right – all those people are fools, feds and enemies. “Globalist Bro” admits having been in the employ of the federal government.

Four more years of Trump could be the end for us. Obama was despised (the polls are bullshit), Kamala was never asked for, not elected, not wanted, though you people who pretend the vax was safe or that polls are intended to give the public accurate information about who has the most support (as opposed to manipulate opinion by the bandwagon effect – tell me, when has the media EVER publicized polls that went against their agenda? It almost never happens.) We know what Trump is and what he’s done. We gave him a chance, he failed, and now he doesn’t even pretend to have anything to do with his 2016 campaign rhetoric anymore.

If Americans are unwilling to take up arms to carry out the wholesale extermination of those who would try the deportation of whites to camps, then they will get what they deserve.

Our votes in Red States don’t matter. If you want to make the case for Trump, you should push a swing state message. Try to convince them that Trump is the real deal THIS TIME.

      • Some comparisons to Weimar Germany might be useful, but the differences between that and the current USA are numerous and substantial. The latter is WAY more powerful and heavily staffed with extremely motivated deep staters commanding heavily armed military and paramilitary forces enjoying broad authorizations to arrest and kill with impunity. Ironically, if Weimar had not been hobbled by Versailles treaty restrictions, it might have had a better chance against the NSDAP.

      • “Kamalanomics will turn America into Venezuela”:

I wish it WOULD turn into a Venezuela, or a China, a Korea, a Cuba, or even a Russia or an Iran. But only a people’s revolution could do that. It won’t happen by voting, and even if voting could actually help, it certainly wouldn’t help to vote for the Wall Street bankers’ top choice, Mrs. Emhoff.

When the U.S.’s losing hybrid war on Venezuela finally ends, Venezuela is set to really take off. https://www.telesurenglish.net/venezuelas-economy-grew-8-in-the-first-half-of-2024/

    • “Of, course you could end up getting Joseph Stalin….

      Very, very possible.
Especially with a citizenry that verges on the retarded.

    • IMO, price controls are usually not a good sign of what is ahead. Then again, it could just be trailer trash who fail to grap the sheer awesomeness of, say, Venezuela’s economy

      • It’s not price control though. It’s profit control on necessities, or pay stiff penalties. Corporate grocery profits have risen 400% in 4 years.

Reducing the price of insulin to $35/month vs $160/month still leaves big pharma with astronomical profits, despite Republican fear-mongering about price controls & Big Pharma Inc. going out of business. I’m not on insulin by my grandmother is.

Now the fat pill people, who have so much extra profit they have daily commercials with fat ladies singing & dancing (Jardiance) is crying poor. Oh please.

      • “price controls are usually not a good sign of what is ahead”

        Is that ever an understatement.

What the country needs is ‘printing control’ to step fedzog from printing endless oceans of money that inflate the prices of everything so they can go on a fool’s spending spree. Money thrown all over the world, from Ukraine to Israhell, grossly oversized military for global intimidation etc.

      • The fact we’ve been reduced in this election to arguing price controls shows the sheer and total defeat of the Libertarian Free Market wing of the GOP. Given, the GOPe always favored that wing over the populists, the nationalists, the rightwing of the party, its doubtful the current campaign will have much to say against Kamela the many armed and the scores of millions of foreign filth our leaders let colonize us.

In turn, how will the GOP and Trump fair? In an election over price controls, food, housing, the Sand, Banana and Rice N@ggers and Wiggers will favor her. It doesn’t look good. If, Kali Goddess of Destruction wins, we will have a one party state at the Federal level. The Age of Kali Yuga will be in full force in America. There will nothing but blood and tears.

We will descend into filth and muck if Kali Goddess wins. There will be no Weimar solutions, just the mongrelization and balkanization of America until the last Aryan draws some remnant of America from final extinction. That will happen long after our death. But there will be nothing left of America or us. All those monuments, histories, and triumphs of our people, from Afghanistan to Jamestown, DDay to Appomattox, Iowa Jima to Independence Day, and all the individual and family experiences will just be moments in time, lost like tears in the rain.
        https://youtu.be/HU7Ga7qTLDU?feature=shared

        • > All those monuments, histories, and triumphs of our people, from Afghanistan..

That’s a real triumph there. 20 years plus unaccounted trillions to secure poppyfields for the Sacklers. The mighty Imperial legions fleeing with their tails between their legs after officially fighting for feminism and the rainbow-flag (western values) to be imposed upon a 100% Muslim country. The Taliban just held a military parade there the other day with some of the 85 billion in left-behind military equipment. There is a reason the place is known as “the graveyard of empires”. For the entire two decades of that folly, our southern border remained wide open. The purpose of the Trashcanistan adventure was to make money for the usual suspects (including the Sacklers, among others) grind down the military to remove any remaining patriotic elements thus enabling a ramped-up invasion starting with the installation of Joey Shitpants.

Your overall point about Queen Chlamydia is correct, but equating neo-klownery with Independence Day is utter nonsense. Just the other day, Murikan and Brit special forces joined with those of OUR GREATEST ALLY in an invasion of Yemen and were ambushed and destroyed by the Houthis. The Brits and Americans should have been overthrowing the criminal foreign occupation regimes in their own countries instead of invading anther on behalf a Satanyahoo’s lunatic regime. Even the IDF would have been better off overthrowing the ‘cartoonishly evil’ Satanyahoo. Too late for them. Satanyahoo can thank them for their service.

      • You should have sat your boy Trump down in 2020 and explained how inflation works to him before he shut the whole economy down over a bad case of the flu and then proceeded to increase the Money Supply by 33%, handed out Multiple Stimulus checks, $900B in PPP Loans and a $2.5T bailout to the Wall St jews all against a backdrop of 0% interest rates that he cajoled the Fed into. It was literally the perfect storm of inflationary pressures. Besides – the mega-corporations run a big part of the show in the US and they will just ignore Harris and her lame-brain patronizing ideas.

      • “the sheer awesomeness of, say, Venezuela’s economy”:

You know the Venezuelan people experienced the “sheer awesomeness” of being a U.S. imperial “Monroe Doctrine” colony for more than one hundred years! You also know that for almost thirty years the U.S. has been waging a brutal hybrid imperialist war (financial, military, psychological, etc.) against the Venezuelan people to make them poor enough, miserable enough, and confused enough, to allow the U.S. to overthrow their popular leadership choices, first Hugo Chavez, and now Nicholas Maduro, and to allow the U.S. to install a puppet colonial regime that will assist Western corporate elites to regain full monopoly control of the world’s largest oil reserves, and allow Western bankers to give massive loans to the colony to enslave the workers with unpayable debt.

I say the political economy of the second Bolivarian revolution (Chavismo) in Venezuela really is “awesome,” but it is far from being complete. Now it needs to continue the fight against capitalism (and capitalist imperialism) to its natural and logical conclusion: true national socialism, with the state (government) and all major industries belonging entirely to the people, not merely serving the people.

      • Regarding Kamala Emhoff’s campaign lie that she, and the Democrats, will work to make food affordable, stop price gouging, “nationalize the food industry,” etc.:

Ridiculous. Absurd. No such thing will ever happen. Remember: “The business of America is business” and Wall Street’s favourite Mrs. Emhoff is the very opposite of a socialist. She is a loyal puppet mouthpiece of the capitalist system.

She is also the opposite of a peace candidate.

Don’t waste time and energy thinking about the U.S.’s “election” and its uni-party, and don’t participate. It makes no difference at all who “wins” your “election.”

  7. Price control was inevitable, the rot of society will eventually rot the economy. Economic control measures will increasingly be introduced to keep things from imploding – the ‘imploding’ here is the inevitable plan to introduce Soviet style SOCIALISM AND COMMUNISM to America.

    • You far underestimate the Church of Woke who stands behind Queen Chlamydia. Soviet-style Socialism or Communism would be an improvement. The price controls will not be imposed upon the rentier-class but on the smaller concerns and upon the family farmers. Vast corporate enterprises controlled by the usual suspects will be untouched while their smaller competitors will be run out of business so food will be a monopoly. Keep in mind that the 1942 Wickard decision has never been overturned or nullified via legislation. Under this appalling decision, you do not have the right to grow food to feed your self on land that you own without government permission – because interstate commerce. Just imagine Gates and his woke followers in charge of enforcing such diktats.

      • @Exalted Cyclops

“You far underestimate the Church of Woke who stands behind Queen Chlamydia. Soviet-style Socialism or Communism would be an improvement.”
I agree I don’t the in-an-out of this, but smaller competitors being run out of business so food will be a monopoly will be the last straw; the ppl. WILL REVOLT

      • “The price controls will not be imposed upon the rentier-class but on the smaller concerns and upon the family farmers. Vast corporate enterprises controlled by the usual suspects will be untouched while their smaller competitors will be run out of business so food will be a monopoly. Keep in mind that the 1942 Wickard decision has never been overturned or nullified via legislation. Under this appalling decision, you do not have the right to grow food to feed your self on land that you own without government permission – because interstate commerce”:

You are correct, and in fact, price controls have really always been set, as the monopolists and their monopolies have always been protected, and assisted, by your government and other capitalist governments. That “the business of America is business” has always been the case.

I think most OD readers love capitalist-imperialist “normalcy.” They long for it and want to conserve the system, instead of overthrow the system. Then they should not fear or oppose Wall Street’s choice, Mrs. Emhoff, because she’ll only figurehead and cheerlead for the system as it is, just like Obama and Biden did. Nor should they fear the real estate mogul billionaire Mr. Trump, who does exactly the same thing, although in a different style.

        • I don’t know if most OD readers like it. I doubt most even understand how the racket works – ultimately only for the benefit of the rentier-class, despite some ultimately worthless scraps tossed to the middle-class while the imperium is building up. Empires run for the benefit of oligarchies end up stripping and looting their own natives once they’ve run out money to pay the legions. After that the inevitable implosion starts. Most empires are like this, though some seem to have been better at balancing the interests of the ruled over that of the rulers – usually only for a time.

    • “here is the inevitable plan to introduce Soviet style SOCIALISM AND COMMUNISM to America”:

That is the exact opposite of what your class and usury system “inevitably plans” to do (what it is logically, naturally compelled to do): The class and usury system has thoroughly disinformed and confused you about what socialism is (the future, better, and only alternative to the class and usury system) as it tries with all its strength to obliterate and eradicate every trace of socialism in the world. This global war is the final, existential, life or death, struggle of the old, evil and outmoded system.

P.S. “Soviet style socialism” was not perfect, especially not because it was always in full war mode, defending against the U.S.’s constant hybrid war attacks from the very beginning. Every socialist nation has always been under attack and will be as long as the old system exists. The final stage of the development of socialism in which the government finally “withers away” cannot possibly begin while the old system continues its attack.

      • This is true. The military burden on the Soviets went well beyond R and D, the military budget, etc.–it was baked into all of their decision making. For instance, the huge GAZ dumpster trucks were designed with extra suspension and strength because they were required to do military service in times of war–made them 20 percent more expensive and less dedicated to civilian use.

  8. The last Communist that tried the price controls was Nixon. The old Quaker was very much a communist at heart, a softer Quaker kind of Communism. The bulk of the tyranny we face today began under Nixon, and just grew.

The Courts will strike it down if Commie-uh tries it. Congress will stay quiet, and rejoice in the massive donations from the (((food industry))).

    • Nixon was no communist, and no Friend either. Friends do not fight, and do not lead or support war. When the French and Indian war began in 1754, even the most worldly semi-Quakers resigned from the colonial government of Pennsylvania, which was originally established by Quaker William Penn as a refuge for oppressed Welsh Quakers. (Incidentally, Benjamin Franklin was never Quaker at all.) Remember when imperialist warmonger and fake-Quaker Nixon called the carpet-bombing genocide of millions of innocent people of Cambodia and Laos “The Nixon Doctrine.” He was just as far from being a communist or socialist as you evidently are.

    • To be fair, it was much harder to do price controls then. no computers, no internet outside NORAD, how was it enforceable and more importantly, how would one get real-time info on supply and demand?
With the internet, you know who is buying what and in how much, across the nation.
How much supply is there, what is the normal demand, what is the price point of supply and demand? all dynamic and all in real-time. Even if we had a free market in food, say c.a. 1870, it would take weeks or months for the market to respond to real movements on the ground.
The Libertarian dupes and their Hayek don’t realize that to have a free market you need equal numbers of sellers and buyers–like a Biblical market. Hayek also wrote before electronic computers and information technology existed.

      • One of the arguments made to Vice President Nixon at the U.S. Exhibition in Moscow in 1959 was that once computers improved a little and were mass produced, say by 1965, the USSR’s centrally controlled economy would rapidly outpace the U.S. That was how the USSR would bury the U.S., by removing waste and inefficiency in their economy allowing their superior centrally planned economy to flourish. The problem was they couldn’t control things at a fine enough level yet.

        https://paleofuture.com/blog/2014/7/24/the-all-american-expo-that-invaded-cold-war-russia

Thing rarely work out as predicted. How often have the social engineering projects for the uplift of the negroes worked out? Is the U.S. a better or worse place since the so-called “Civil Rights” (sic) projects of the 1960’s? Integration and later, immigration were sold as magically improving the lot of blacks and paying dividends also for Whites. Now the country is a Third World shithole with the worst yet to come yet the same class of rotten bastards are more in charge than ever.

  9. This lame bitch came in in dead last in CA in 2020 and just like dump she’s got a politically resurrected career all of a sudden. The pepsi cult is unfettered that she’s unelected, skip the vote. By the way y’all, an open communist walz is some kind of moderate. Not clown enough yet for you ******* idiots?

  10. Since no one has mentioned a positive response to the Communist Price Control position, not even Aryan Globohomo Bro, I call to your attention The Prime Act, a bill placed into the requisite House Committee by Tom Massie.

The Prime Act would end the federal tyranny introduced under Nixon, that forbids farmers or ranchers from butchering and selling their own meat. It would bring half a million new suppliers of meat onto the market almost immediately.

    • ” Challenge mergers”

There’s a thing called “anti-trust law” that was enacted for this very purpose.

Start by breaking up near monopolies. Like Tyson. Smithfield, Conagra, Kraft, Nestle , who are quasi-monopolies in their respective segments of food.

Also breakup some of the major commodity houses, glencore, Cargill.

Don’t allow any mergers with a company that has more than 33% of any one market. Breakup all farm corps or families with more than 50,000 acres.

Stop allowing supermarkets to charge shelf space to anyone.

Price controls = induced shortages (see Nixon, ’71)

      • The anti-trust laws enacted in the early 20th century by Theodore Roosevelt and others were largely nullified by the Reagan administration with the aid of Tip O’Neal’s D-jersey congress – along with tax breaks for the one percent. Some of the early environmental laws were also overturned in that era.

    • @Rangewolf

“Since no one has mentioned a positive response to the Communist Price Control position, not even Aryan Globohomo Bro…”

Price controls only work under specific conditions. All conditions require a real emergency such as war, natural disaster, health crisis, or economic collapse. They also require a fair and impartial administration of government taking control of all levels related to the product, industry, sector, community, or state in which the emergency is occurring. It requires an involved and virtuous citizenry of all classes taking part in the emergency.

Let me ask you, do any of those conditions exist in Kali Goddess of Destruction’s plan. Its typical Democrat mobsterism, meant to benefit a clique of well connected Democrat racketeers. Its organized crime of the highest and most total level. Remember this guy crime feds? Eh eh eh. We gonna stop the Crime Feds price controls by sheer education. Its been 10 years now but payback is a biatch.

      • “Price controls only work under specific conditions. ”

Everyone is dancing around the principle cause of these price excesses, a government printing debased currency.

A sound currency would resolve nearly all these price problems, by enforcing rational limits on spending, principally the governments excesses.

These high prices are a hidden tax, we are paying for the governments waste and profligate spending.

Only solution is a stable currency, everything else is lipstick on a pig, it’s still a pig.

          • Not necessarily, but gold could be an adjunct to a stable currency.

There’s the intriguing new debit card proposed.
Your assets are held in gold, silver, crypto or a foreign currency or any combination you choose.

When it’s time to purchase or spend the current amount of the base asset is converted to dollars and debited from your account minus a 1% surcharge.
This way you can keep assets in most any form.

This way you could buy and spend in any asset you like.

This seems to be the natural evolution of economics in the e-age.

            Very flexible and infinitely variable.

            Fantastic potential.

        • A stable currency, which negates unlimited money printing by definition, would cripple the Deep State, make ruinous wars thousands of miles away impossible and end bloated government. I cannot think of a more serious disaster for the current regime than this, it would be total defeat. The parasite known as GloboHomo would immediately end if there were sound money in the U.S.

GloboHomo will never sign its own death warrant by bringing about sound money. Any politician who had a ‘Come to Jesus’ moment on the money printing thing would be driven out of office in the next election, his constituents wouldn’t stand for it. There isn’t one in ten people in the U.S. who understand the link between endless money printing, their own impoverishment and the ruin of the nation, Stable Genius included.

There is only one way this thing can end, in disaster.

          • See my above post on asset based debit card.

People could divorce themselves from the zog paper.

  11. HW,

    One hundred percent correct.

We are so fucked. No cure for stupid. Not a snowball’s chance in hell that voting will change where this nation is heading.

I do feel sorry for your children, and other White children in Canada and USA. It’s so gloomy that whatever Whitepills there might be appear gray.

    • “No cure for stupid”

Oh , Nature has several cures, slaughter, famine, plague etc. But you have libtards divorcing cause and effect, rewarding the indolent and punishing the productively prudent, foreign aid to section 8.

    • White people in the U.S. cling to misplaced optimism having been raised on stories with happy endings, the good guys always win and exceptional nation bullshit. The truth is so unpleasant, the U.S. has a grim future no matter who is elected, that a charlatan who counts WWE wrestlers and street thugs as key endorsements is the lesser evil in this ridiculous spectacle of an election. Most people don’t even want to prep for bad times, they would rather whip out the credit cards and go into more debt for another vacation to Cancun than admit that the country has gone completely off the rails and they need to make personal preparations for bad times.

We aren’t voting our way out of this trouble.

      • “whip out the credit cards and go into more debt for another vacation to Cancun ”

For many it’s whip out the card for next bag of groceries.

      • ” this ridiculous spectacle of an election.”

A mongrel whore running for president ……

  12. In any case, none of this matters, I already know how it’s all gonna play out, because history repeat or at least rhymes, and Hollywood ran out of new material just as American politics has.
Democrats will spend the next few months trying to persuade millennial and gen z voters struggling to pay the bills let alone save and invest that Kamala’s actually, a progressive, in spite of everything the last 4 years and her entire political career should have taught them, in order to win millennials and gen z back into the democratic fold, meanwhile republicans will fear monger that she’s a, woke commie.
Of course the reality is, she’s just another neoliberal crony capitalist corporate Zionist hooker, and for better, or worse, absolutely nothing will change under her, just as nothing has fundamentally changed under Biden, or Trump, or Obama, or any of them.
Same shit different pile, the life of the average worker living in America will not radically change one way or another.
Of course things are gradually getting worse, but this has nothing to do with whether Chris Jericho, Dean Malenko or Goldust wins the belt, it’s just the gradual decline of a once wealthy and powerful empire whose ruling class decade ages ago decided to milk it for all its worth and stash the loot offshore, heads they win tales you lose.
How many more decades are you guys gonna play pass the buck?

    • “none of this matters”….. Until your living standard collapses.

“average worker living in America will not radically change ”
      Just wait.

      “things are gradually getting worse”
Until they go over a cliff.

Uh, 10,000,000 immigrants …. Section 8 ….. Refuge resettlement funds.

    Too woke to understand supply/demand.

“Duh gubberments needz be gibbin me a houzes”

  16. “first-ever federal ban on price gouging on food and groceries”

Just means that producers will increase prices preemptively (they aren’t stupid) and to the maximum they can, resulting in greater inflation, instead of reducing it.

  17. Kamzilla is going after our food to starve us so she can “try” to take away our guns. Then if successful she pulls a Nikki Haley and goes after all our White “racist” history/heritage/national symbols/etc and 1984s them — blots them all out as if they never existed…

    • Communists always clamp down on the food supply.

As the ever devious Kissinger said,
“You control nations with oil, people with food”

  18. Get ready…Trump is being his usual idiot self and this pathetic whore is going to be the next Commander in Chief. Half of the population is going to have to come to grips with the fact that they are living in a clown nation.

  19. The only thing voters are going to hear, and by voters I mean people like the Gen Z girl, as well as everyone else who can’t afford a home and gets anxiety when they go to the store, is lower prices and help with rent. I’m not endorsing even more government control because I know it’s going to blow up in our faces, but what is Trump doing? Regurgitating the same broken promises and “no one is treated more unfairly than me” that, while true to a point, means N O T H I N G to the millions of people who have to choose between a full grocery cabinet or having a place to live. Even the illegal immigration spiel is tired. The damage was done years ago. Where even is the guy for the last week? Getting his affairs in order for the sham trial verdict next month? This election is over, and this entire process has been a joke. It’s time to grow up, and forget about voting harder. Now is the time for preparing and planning against the dark and even harder times ahead.

  20. The Harris campaign has baited the Trump campaign and the GOP by extension into defending price gouging.

No wonder Harris is ahead in the polls.

Maybe if Zion Don pushed economic populism, and not perpetual zionism, he could be running away with the presidential election.

  21. I will vote for the first candidate that proposes the repeal of the kosher tax on food, soap, et al. It’s a rabbinical financial scam.

    • ” . . . It’s a rabbinical financial scam.”

One of many, the list is endless, until they wreck the dollar, which is inevitable.

    • No candidate would even dare to. Not even RFK – who damned well knows what would happen to him if he did.

  22. What the simple fools don’t understand is that closing the border and/or deporting illegals will take off the demand pressure and prices will drop.

If more migrants flood in, both housing and food will increase in price regardless of government schemes.

The only thing that will really put a stop to this insanity is when zog can no longer fund itself and everything is thrown into reverse, in a hurry .

A funding crisis is the only resolution, then everything gets wrecked.

  23. Green’s Stein sounds better than Kamzilla… This war between Russia and Ukraine should have never been fought to start with … Would the Yankee Empire (USA) allow any hostile regime right on our border get help from Russia/China/etc and allow this punk neighbor of ours to put nukes right on our border aimed right at us? What were these US war hawks thinking, going into Ukraine promising all this unlimited supply of arms/money/technology/etc for Ukraine to fight a proxy war against Russia? Now these warmongers probably made a lot of money personally as did the US military complex but look what this unjustified/unneeded war has done to the world. Russia and other allied nations are forming their own economic union to support their interests and we here in the US under Bidenomics/Cacklenomics are headed for breadlines if Kamzilla (with the help of Dem election riggers) snatches control of the reigns. We need a new country, not new leadership. Secession should be our way. Our way IS the Highway…

WASHINGTON, August 18. /TASS/. The United States should immediately sit at the negotiating table with Russia, Ukraine and other stakeholders, said Jill Stein, who was approved as the Green Party’s US presidential candidate earlier in the day.

“We need to decompress this conflict as quickly as possible, and we need to get back to negotiations with Russia, Ukraine and other players. What Russia essentially wanted was neutrality from Ukraine. That is absolutely simple,” she said at a new conference following her nomination.

“We need to engage in basic diplomacy. This is not rocket science. This is basic diplomacy. It’s basic conversation that could readily avert a catastrophic conflict here,” she added.

In her opinion the conflict “would readily have been averted had the US sat down to negotiate in advance” or “had the US not sabotaged the peace agreement that was established shortly after” Russia began its special military operation in Ukraine.

She also believes that the incumbent administration’s policy is, in essence, “the exercise of the military industrial military industrial complex and its intention to basically gin up business for itself by creating war, after war, after war. “And the American people need to put an end to it,” she said.

Stein, a 74-year-old physician and an environmental activist, was officially nominated as the Green Party’s presidential candidate for the upcoming election during a party convention on Saturday. Her running mate is Professor Butch Ware.

The US presidential election will be held on November 5. The Democratic Party was supposed to be represented by incumbent President Joe Biden, but after his failed performance in his June debate with Republican candidate Donald Trump, calls for the incumbent head of state to pull out grew louder among Democrats. On July 21, he decided to withdraw from the race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the country’s top office.
