Fork In The Road: Trump Administration Offers Buyouts To Federal Workers

It appears all the New Right talk about “regime change” was serious.

Axios:

“It’s only been a little over a week since President Trump took office, but already he’s unleashed a ream of actions targeting the federal workforce — a sort of government death via a thousand cuts.

Why it matters: This unprecedented stream of executive orders and memorandums is unsettling Washington households as people scramble to determine whether their jobs and livelihoods are safe. …”

CNN:

“Federal workers who don’t want to return to the office are being offered buyouts, according to a memo posted to the US Office of Personnel Management’s website Tuesday night.

CNN previously reported the buyout offers were expected, according to a Trump administration official and an OPM spokesperson.

The administration has ordered federal workers, many of whom had flexible work arrangements following the pandemic, back to the office to work in person. Workers who accept the buyout will need to resign by February 6 and would receive severance paid through September 30.

Federal agency heads were told within the last day that this would be coming, the official said.

The memo outlining the new policy states that the agency emailed federal employees “on January 28, 2025 presenting a deferred resignation offer.” …”

Without a doubt, about 50% of the federal government workforce is obese middle aged black women who look down upon you through their reading glasses and computer monitor at any and all agencies that have public-facing office positions. (SS office, housing agencies, government grant agencies etc)
    These are the obese black women who pass you on the interstate driving a Mercedes, Land Rover, Lexus, or BMW.

    • “Work from Home” = Netflix and Chill. It’s a joke, when they made a black female at work come back in after two years of that nonsense she was taking all these strange calls all day. Turns out she was on TWO full time employers clocks simultaneously and was doing some sort of social service family concealing for the county as well. Even burger flippers can’t be on both McDonald’s and Burger King’s time clocks simultaneously. At least she had some ambition compared to others who use the opportunity to do nothing. Two asian women “work from home” well we had some sort of meeting at work and had them join us on zoom at 10:30am. Of course they were very late to log in and show up on the projector screen long after the real workers were in the room at work. Must have been startled in bed or something. You know how women always doll themselves up, well, they looked like hell, just a quick sweatshirt pulled over their pajamas, unkempt hair, no makeup. They looked like that scene with the newscasters in the Jack Nickelson Bat Man movie where all makeup was poisoned and the newscasters looked like pale ghosts with bad skin. Work from home is a joke, only a female could feel so entitled as to not show up and sit on the couch all day and expect to keep receiving her full paycheck…maybe they really ARE only worth that 65 cents on the dollar compared to how much more they claim men are paid. You’d be lucky to even get 65 cents worth of work out of them chilling with all those distractions at home.
