  1. Too bad Trump didn’t find his spine 8 years ago. I suppose he had to risk litigation and jail to see how corrupt things are.

  2. The old adage about “asking for forgiveness is better than begging for permission” applies here, and Trump isn’t one to grovel for forgiveness. This timeless wisdom has never been truer in politics.

  3. A legacy Lüdenpress podcast kvetching about the Executive actually exercising executive power, breaking “American-style democracy” and *maybe* politicizing the FBI is too funny.

Yes, Trump’s mandate is to do exactly that; take down “American-style democracy” – a form of government where the President works for the head of the CFR – who in turn works for God knows who.

Musk’s preliminary DOGE* investigations of the Treasury are most interesting too. How long before we see selected Congressmen stepping down to spend more time with their families?

  4. Trump has indeed arrived in force and numerkus Establishment heads are rolling. This Feb weekend, the President’s men and the DOGE team cuts off the head of Major Deep State Commander, John Vorhees, head of security at USAID.

This is a major defeat for the US National Security Establishment. USAID has historically been one of the chief arms of projecting US interests overseas and coordinating both overt and covert action. US Big business has long salivated over eliminating it as they see it as a competitor to their own overseas power.  Made vulnerable by their stupid modern new liberal policies and being a holding cell for Anti-MAGA folk, USAID now a main target for Business friendly and Nationalist oriented Trump Administration.

USAID is often used as a front for CIA and other intelligence agencies, especially regarding covert intelligence collection and covert action. Of course, most of USAID programs are legitimate US sponsored civil aid. As a result, it often does things that sideline US commercial interests in favor of the neo-liberal rules based order. So, it has long been a competitor to privatized government programs and Big Business interests like that championed by Elon Musk.

Meanwhile, USAID has historically done alot of good historically. By providing humanitarian interests to foreign actors in return for supporting US foreign policy, its given the US a useful tool for promoting American foreign policy.  Simultaneously, for those involved in the more serious activities of US covert intelligence and covert action, its among the most serious in the specwar and intelligence community who get posted there, often disgused as aid workers, medical staff, etc. So, it also provides utility to covert US policy initiatives.

USAID historically also had some down sides, largely due to following orders of bad US Administrations or worse institutionalizing them lie with Woke. The hilarious film “Spies Like Us,” features two rapidly promoted intelligence officers parachuting into the FIRST Afghanistan War, as medical aid workers thru USAID. The heavy handed and double edged sword that USAID often is was best encapsulated in the scene where their landing smashes an Afghan village and possibly setbacks US objectives in gaining support.

I am not exactly ecstatic that USAID has been essentially put on life support. It has a storied history and honestly, buck for buck gets the biggest bang out of most US diplomatic and military campaigsn. Its part of the one two three punch of the US foreign policy: State Department, USAID, and the DoD. USAID provides humanitarian and civil support, building alliances with other state and sub state actors. Its activities are useful in providing cover to covert officers and has a generally successful history. In Vietnam, USAID projects successfully dried up the water the VC operated in, forcing them to use ever more brutal tactics. Tactics so brutal that although successful in the short term, despite what Kurtz says in Apocalypse now, helped eventually suffocate the VC.

But lets face it. The goddammned wokesters and leftists have fully taken much of DC. This is especially true for USAID which has become a nest of looney but high iq neo-liberals and wokesters. In recent years they gained infamy promoting overseas World War Gay themes, undoubtedly harming our support among traditional societies like in Afghanistan and throughout the world. We tried to warn them years ago this would be used against them politically and that they needed to shape up or ship out. Instead, they went down the ideological runaway train to destruction.

I think the entire leadership of USAID was put on leave by Trump. Even Vorhees, a rather very serious fellow, was unceremoniously ejected from USAID.  Vorhees biography and USAID has been mostly taken off line. Huge tumult expected in DC as the monkeys all go screaming and running away over watching a war dog like Vorhees slaughtered by the Presidents men. It bodes ill for the folk who thought they could get us MAGA Patriots “Six Ways To Sunday.” Yeah, well its now Sunday MOFOS. Its FAFO Sunday now! You can find Vorhees’ bio archived here.
