No, it would be one state. There’s no reason Canada’s state government can’t have greater autonomy than other states. Not that I support annexation. I do support the division of Canada, without the King, into independent states. Breaking Canada into independent states would tempt the USA towards support for a confederacy. but so would annexing Canada and letting them keep much of their current government as the state government.
Not just Canada but I wish the entire Anglo-Sphere would unite as one nation. That may be the only way to counter China on the global scene. And only White English-speaking people would be eligible for citizenship. And dis mantle NATO and let Europe provide its only military.
