As things stand today, the Trump administration is succeeding in controlling illegal immigration in everything but mass deportations. Congress passed the Laken Riley Act. Illegal immigration has crashed to zero at the border. DOJ is suing states like New York and Illinois for failing to cooperate with ICE. Latin American nations like Mexico, Panama and Venezuela have been brought to heel. GITMO has been converted into a detention camp for illegal aliens. The messaging, optics and show business of immigration enforcement coming out of DHS has been good. We want to encourage these people to self deport.
In order to achieve mass deportations, Congress is going to have to dramatically beef up ICE in the upcoming reconciliation bill being negotiated in the House and Senate. The Biden era organization is currently too small to arrest and deport millions of people. There aren’t enough agents or detention centers. The political will to deport millions of people exists, but we lack the capacity to do it. This is a technical problem that could be used to create new high paying government jobs.
I want to see thousands of illegal aliens in chains marching into cargo planes and taking off to destinations around the world. I want to see this every day, not just in photo ops. Above all else, the Supreme Court needs to end birthright citizenship and Congress needs to make it impossible for them to live here for most will cut their losses and self deport on their own back to their home countries.
Hopefully, we can take some of the money that is being saved by DOGE in firing useless government bureaucrats and use that to create an army of ICE agents and to pay bounty hunters.
Note: It looks like Antifa are beginning to attack ICE again.
The key is consistently deporting illegal immigrants who are otherwise law-abiding.
If word spreads that only violent criminals are being deported, then illegal immigration will increase after a brief pause like it did in the first term.
On the other hand, if word spreads that non-violent illegal immigrants face a significant risk of deportation, then illegal immigration will dry up completely and the illegal immigrants who are already here will begin to self-deport.
Then wages will start to increase and housing costs will start to go down – benefiting Trump’s voters, but hurting his donors. Will he stay the course when that happens?
Construction and Repair costs are probably suppressed by cash under the table jobs. Marginally rentals property could be eased. But then again, landlords…will they ever reduce the racking? And who gets to or wants to live in the cheaper digs? White people or blacks?
The key to getting these folks out of the country is to use the enforcement resources on those who enable them – folks like Donnie King of Tyson, the large shareholders of Tyson, et al. This also goes for the NGOs, including (maybe especially) “Christian” ones. Use the RICO statues to drain their assets and charge the movers and shakers of all such corporations and NGOs with treason. Aiding and abetting an invasion of the United States is treason, which is exactly what they’ve all been doing for decades. So of Noem, Miller and Trump are serious about addressing the issue, they will need to take such actions.
This cannot be instantaneous because they will first need to drain all of the agencies responsible for enforcement of swamp-creatures. Some 75,000 parasites have taken the buyout offer, which is a good start. That’s the carrot. Trump et al need to be preparing the stick to use on those who wish to remain in hand to sabotage their efforts.
The fact that Trump pardoned Rabbi Rubashkin in 2017 doesn’t bode well.
Rubashkin was such a flagrant employer of illegal immigrants, even Obama felt compelled to prosecute him!
But Trump pardoned him because that is what Jared Kushner wanted.

As you are probably aware, ICE arrests, detentions, and deportations are way down from the January numbers that were more smoke than fire.
If unqualified Kristi numb skull Noem wants to “hunt down illegal immigrants,” she should pretend that they are innocent puppies.
Exalted Cyclops is correct that the best way to encourage illegal immigrants to self-deport is to go after their employers and NGOs that provide them the means to remain in the country, but those CEOs of the corporations and companies are likely to be republican donors.
There should be no distinction between illegals who are career criminals and those who are not.
Most Americans don’t care. They want them out. If they’re illegal to begin with, then they’re criminals to a degree.
If America has the capacity to police the world with its military, then it has the capacity to police illegal immigration, removals, and the border.

A message to illegal aliens: America doesn’t belong to you. It belongs to the H1B-holders and their sponsors, so get lost!!!
Lost in all of this is the effect LEGAL immigration has on us. You can deport every last one of the illegals and close the border but the legal ones remain in the tens of millions and keep on coming.
