I caught the first hour last night.
This horrific story out of Bainbridge, GA which is in my area in the Lower Chattahoochee Valley has made me a little more sympathetic to concept of Return to the Land. I don’t think there is any credible argument against the need or the demand for White intentional communities.
James asked Eric one of my questions about how people who want to join his community can support themselves in such a remote area. He said the current settlement in the Ozarks is attracting remote workers who can work from home anywhere, but others would be closer to metro areas.

And just when I start to become lethargic toward politics, something like this comes along and reignites my rage. This “person” is an animal and the slap on the wrist that goes with child abuse charges is not enough.
Through the history, the communities linked by culture, heritage and traditions have always been a good idea, obviously without fanatic leaders or without leader at all.

This is so common among blak caregivers, toddlers to the very elderly.

This is why these things are a pipe dream. It starts with being able to support yourself and your family. And the type of people who “work remotely” aren’t usually the ones doing too much with their hands, so as soon as whatever economic bubble they are taking advantage of pops, there goes the neighborhood. I’m always amazed at how these projects are put together with basically zero regard for how people are supposed to make a living. It’s just “be rich”. That’ll make a great community.

He addressed that, in being near a town with jobs. It will have to start with a nucleus of workers, perhaps digital remote workers, followed by tradesmen then businesses.
There’s a lot of potential in this concept. Several steps of refinement and improvements could make this viable everywhere.
You raise a very good point. I live in a rural area that many would consider ideal. The county is 97% White. Most of the young people, when they graduate high school, move away because there are no jobs. I also had a tech work remotely job here but when the company decided to dump a lot of workers, I would have been cooked had I not been so close to retirement age. For a jobless young man trying to support a family, requiring a work remotely job severely restricts the potential positions when job searching. And if the lack of work drags on, any savings can be quickly exhausted.

Horrible. Toddler beaten with a black eye and eye swollen shut. I don’t know, sometimes I think a lot of it might be due to the modern culture (black culture, Hollywood, etc.). I know a lot of guys here will say it’s an anecdotal exception but I had a very good experience with a black nurse. Fifty years ago, my dad had terminal prostate cancer. He was in the hospital for 2 months (back then, extended stays were common). This was a Catholic hospital in the Chicago area. There were many nuns who were nurses there, but the head day nurse in my dad’s ward was a lay black woman, Nurse Jackson. She was very compassionate and kind towards my father. When my dad came home (and died two months later), my mom had bought a small gift which she gave to Nurse Jackson in gratitude for how she treated my father. How things have changed.

You’re right – it’s the propaganda that’s made it worse than ever between Whites and Blacks. I mean, Blacks have always had a higher crime rate than Whites, but the current hostility of Blacks against Whites was never like today. Back in the late 70’s when I was in college, I worked as an unarmed security guard at a factory in a near west Chicago suburb one summer. The factory management and supervisors were all White while the workers were all Black. The security staff were rent-a-guards from an outside firm. Here I was, a skinny, White college kid from a White suburb who never interacted with Blacks before. I never had any problems with the Black workers and certainly never felt threatened. There were also no chimp outs or fights like you see now on JewTube. My biggest problem was understanding them but by the end of the summer, I didn’t have that problem anymore. I can’t imagine a White young man taking a job like that today with the current atmosphere.
