Most most countries have something that another country needs or wants, so I’m all for free and fair trade, but that’s as far as the engagement should be.
I hate seeing poverty anywhere in the world, but we can’t take half their populations. It isn’t fair on us, or the countries that lose their best minds.

Unfortunately for the NEOCONS advising Trump, there is no draft and the best, quickest way to burn this country to ashes would be to bring back Involuntary Military Conscription.

Eventually, as the wars and the inevitable casualties and financial costs mount the U.S. Government will come after their sons and grandsons for military service. The MAGA types response is predictable: take someone else’s sons and grandsons, not mine.
It just doesn’t work that way now. The U.S. Government needs every smart, reliable, trustworthy, young White guy they can get to staff their high-tech military. The non-Whites don’t meet those criteria in sufficient numbers.
