It’s hard for men of my generation to fathom life without the Internet. Sure, I can survive for extended periods of time without checking my email or browsing the web. In fact, I enjoy going minimalist camping for a few days at a time, cooking Spaghetti-Os over a campfire, thumbing through Julius Evola’s books, and reflecting on how Tradition relates to me in the contemporary American context.
But no matter how completely I believe I’ve removed myself from “the grid”, I’m never truly removed from it. After all, how would a mere high school graduate from small-town Indiana stumble onto Evola? It’s not like his trenchant analyses of modernism are available at my local library. In fact, they weren’t available at the big college library, either. They sure as hell wouldn’t have been mentioned on television. Before relatively recently, very little of his stuff was even translated into English and what little had been translated was only familiar to some very small circles of New Right intellectuals sharing it with a handful of associates in their ideological ghetto.
The generation that grew up after the Jewish oligarchy achieved a stranglehold on American media, academia, and theology never had a chance. This was a true Dark Age of absolute censorship of dissident ideas in America, one which most acutely affected the Baby Boomer generation. One of the interesting things about the recent CofCC conference was the abundance of the very old veterans of the George Wallace campaign and other anti-integration battles and the abundance of relatively young computer geeks. An entire generation in between is largely absent. It’s been hopelessly brainwashed with the vapid mythology of “the 60’s”, of “The Dawning of Aquarius”, and of American history as a steady process of successive liberations of victimized identity groups.
A Glimpse Into the Baby Boomer Mind
The Internet changed everything. This completely decentralized new medium empowered us to bypass the filter altogether and follow our paths of inquiry in absolutely any direction they led. A new generation of White Advocates converged from a variety of backgrounds. Academics like Kevin MacDonald who would have struggled to find a handful of readers a couple decades ago became capable of sharing their ideas with millions. It’s in this context that millions of young men like myself were able to escape the prevailing dogma and arrive at heretical interpretations of reality which had been virtually extinguished by the regime.
Most people of my generation are still drinking the multicult kool-aid. But most people don’t matter. The information is readily available to men determined to seek the truth and this numerical minority embodies a “majority of will”, if I may adopt an epigram from Dr. Pierce. Most Americans are glued to their couches, soaking up the latest pop culture filth. They’ll assuredly remain glued to those couches while we’re taking it back.
And how might we actually take it back?
We’ll take it back by leveraging the Internet’s capacity for facilitating massively collaborative projects. We’ll instantiate a framework for coordinating “open source” advocacy, translating the phenomenal success of community-driven software development into political activism. I believe we have a motivated core of activists who currently lack the infrastructure necessary to collaborate toward accomplishing quantifiable goals. By adapting processes from the open source software development community, we can create a lightning rod to gather up the best and brightest from across America to catalyze the revolution.
Eric S. Raymond’s seminal work on the nature of open source software development, The Cathedral and the Bazaar, outlines necessary preconditions for initiating a successful bazaar-style project. One of those is a plausible promise. The community needs to share a vision of the completed project and have a skeletal framework around which to begin working. A talented project leader needs to be capable of both designing the core of his project and communicating his vision to potential collaborators.
Ideally, he has access to an incubator, a workspace conducive to collaborative project development. In the open source software development community, the most popular example of this is SourceForge. It provides each project with a source code repository, discussion forums to facilitate communication, a home page, a wiki for documentation, and a front-end that helps developers and end-users find the projects.
The challenge is in translating this proven model toward accomplishing White Advocacy goals.
1. What services should an incubator offer to project collaborators?
2. What kinds of projects would be well-suited to this framework?
3. How willing would you be to contribute your time and talent to a collaborative advocacy project?
It’s really interesting how you point out the generation gap between the old segregationists and today’s generation of White Nationalists. It’s very sad to think of how an entire generation was destroyed via brainwashing and a self-destructive counter-culture.

Our anonymous collaborator is temporarily swamped with some meatspace distractions. We’ll probably have to wait several months for the second installment. I’m working on capitalizing on his contribution and hope to be able to debut some progress on that in the next couple weeks.
So many baby boomers have enough experiences to know the score, but are unwilling/afraid to connect the dots. They will actually use the word “racism” as if it was a bad thing. And of course, live as segregated a life as they can.
A huge part of WN will have to be the renouncing of selfishness.
Childlessness is one of the biggest indicator of selfishness. Don’t extend trust easily to the happily barren or childless.
I am of the first year of the boomers. I too would feel lost without the net. I wrote up the Nigger IQ Test in 1977 (adjusted to compensate for cultural bias), and read Butz in the eighties. (Arthur, not Earl, although Earl did make some nice remarks) –

This is a very inspiring Matt. It would be revolutionary to see the White poverty exposed, the ramifications of it, (without insulting organic rank, “the poor will always be with us…”) and direct ways for White Nationalist’s to contribute to White individuals or families in need. Is this possible? There are many families and individuals who are gifted and intelligent that suffer needlessly in silence because they are poor, or embarrassed.
This is a really good idea! Rather than belonging to large monolithic organizations that simultaneously do everything and do nothing, you could find a project on the “SourceForge” site that is local and of a manageable scope. The kind of project that you would be able to contribute to in a substantial way.
The site should also have a feature similar to Ubuntu Brainstorm. Brainstorm is simply a way to float an idea to gauge its popularity. This would be a great way to judge if any specific idea has enough weight to actually form a project.

Once the site is up and functional, a web plugin/widget could be developed for it that can plug into WN Blogs. This widget could encourage people to find projects and allow them to search for ones in their geographical location and/or areas of interest. To the left of this text box that I am typing into right now I can see several links to external social media sites, more or less free advertising for those sites (Facebook, Twitter, etc). It would not be too difficult to get most WN sites to integrate links/widgets to this hypothetical collaborative website. The free advertising could help it to grow quickly.
It would also be important for the website to have strong geographical abilities. For example, if you create an ID on the site it could ask you for voluntary information regarding the area you reside. You could define an area of interest, and when a new project is created within your area you would be automatically notified, so that you could check it out and possibly contribute.
Obviously some projects will span multiple areas, and some would be online-only projects without any ground footwork needed, but these things could be defined when the project is created.
I would be interested in pitching in effort to get this started. Perhaps a project could be created on the real SourceForge or Google Code site to start forming people with the technical skills to put this website together. I can code HTML and CSS, and can hack together some PHP. I am no expert but typically I find that my skills go further than I thought they would.
I’m also an early babyboomer. I’m poor cause I haven’t been able to find another job in 4 years and I don’t apply for any gvmn’t handouts. This year when I turn 63 I’ll apply for SS and medicare. IF it’s still there.
I live in a formerly white suburb though blacks and mexicans are being moved out here according to government plan, newly built low-income housing and section 8 houses are filled with blacks and browns. Very few American whites receive the benefits of wealth redistribution programs. The only “whites” who seem to qualify for “freebies” are recent Eastern European/Russian immigrants (communist jews.)
10 years, even 5 years ago there were no homeless people around here. Now they’re a common sight. Pushing grocery carts filled with black plastic bags. The lucky ones have a bicycle with a cart attached. Around here the homeless are all white. Walking home from the store I noticed a tarp pitched against a tree in a vacant lot. A temporary home for a middle-aged white man. Till someone complained and police told him to move.
Since the 60s I was a white liberal dedicated to the search for truth. Unfortunately all I found was jew books, jew magazines, jew radio, jew tv, jew everything. Till the internet.
Now I’m dedicated (almost obsessed!!) with reading and finding truth about jews and white history.
What I see is for all our history whites have been running from jews. From Asia, India, the middle east, Europe, North America and South Africa. Now we stand on the edge, the Pacific coast. America has allowed our race to exist for another 500 years but now what? There’s nowhere to run and we’re still being chased by barbarian invaders swinging their bloody clubs. This is the last stand for whitey.

It seems to me that the only course of action is to make piles of money in order to establish a White community, and then to bribe a local politician, or infiltrate our own into political office. this requires some kind of community establishment on our part. it’s not like writing the Linux kernel.

I don’t believe it’s either/or and I can imagine this platform catalyzing the kinds of efforts you’re describing. I think we can accomplish some impressive results if we apply our large pool of motivated but pseudonymous and geographically dispersed adherents. Imagine if our own local advocates attempting to infiltrate the community establishment had an international “skynet” behind them capable of assembling campaign commercials, sending out demographically-targeted mailings, putting up campaign signs, and arranging funding.
For three months now I agitate for such a specific community project, realization of which can boost our morals and attract a lot of attention.

The project is translation of “200 years Together” by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn (2002) into English.
The text is massive, 280 thousand words. It wais translated into German and French, but not into English (take three guesses why not). The book IS explosive and given AS’ credentials, it will be a great blow to you know whom.
To make the long story short – WE CAN DO IT and just imagine all the fuss around when the work is done. After all, AS is one of the most famous modern authors – remember his “GULAG archipelago”?
Since March, there is the following progress:
1. Previously, the first chapter was translated into English by someone else

2. I have translated Ch. 20 and it waits for editor (as a Russian who learned English in late 20th.

How we can do it?
1. Translation of different chapters by different volunteers from Russian, German and French. yes, I know, I know, the book then will SOUND differently from chapter to chapter, but to me it is not the worst problem when the choice is between reading a non-uniformly SOUNDING text and being not able to read the book at all.
2. Getting donations and hiring dedicated translators (WN students who wouldnt charge a lot) – see, VDare and ARight were/are waging fund-raising campaign to collect $50,000 each. WE NEED HALF OF THAT SUM, or at least no more. And if we persuade KMD or other highly reputable person to take care of the funds, the money can be collected really fast. Note that overnight after the topic was raised, few people pledged donate in total around $3,000 toward the goal. See? And there is a person who may take the brunt of the work.
Yes, it will require a lot of editing to build up a good text, but it is a real opportunity to flex our muscles and damage the enemy.
It is doubtful that white youth of today are more racially conscious, thanks to cyberspace, than those awful boomers of yore. In my travels I see an even more integrated population of whites with even less white identity than preceding generations. The youth of today have the internet, true, but they lack the memory of an almost completely white America.
This is a very constructive and visionary article.
However, Kievsky, who seems a practical-minded sort, raises a valid question in asking, “What do we DO?”
This question would be easily answered if we were playing a chess game, for the objectives of chess are straightforward and well contained.
If we were starting a company, we would conduct some kind of marketing study in search of a niche for our product, formulate a business plan, and then secure funding.
What we lack is a clear set of attainable goals, and plans for legally achieving them, without violence. Something like Covington’s Butler plan. If we had attainable goals, the plans would smoothly emerge in an open-source setting, almost spontaneously, I suspect.
We also need a reporting mechanism, to document progress towards our goals. If Covington published an accounting of his emerging NW community, it might encourage potential prospects to relocate, just as a public company’s quarterly report can attract investors, increasing its stock price.
Perhaps if Covington’s Northwest Community was reformulated as a Northwest Corporation, fusing living and career interests, more people would join.
First, you need a business plan. That means you have to get you contributors to agree on a concept, and then flesh that concept out into a business plan.
It’s all about organization, and you need a very specific goal & end product.
A free trade forum might be an idea, a way to get clothes or whatever to someone like sos to give out, and also for people to trade things. People still have a lot of stuff they do not need or want, and to set up a free trade forum for these things could be great. It does not even have to be necessities just stuff. It is also a way to communicate in times that are becoming more desperate. The old forum format is getting boring. I think intelligent white nationalists could do something new and useful, OD Free Trade?

As for the divide of generations, a new Victorianism is gathering. Even the changing face of the WNist movement proclaims its commencement. That does not bode well for the future or activism in general unless we examine the socialists of the period and apply their successful methods to the coming situation.
For example, George Orwell, while properly at the tail end of the period, lived amongst the working poor and homeless and wrote books on his experiences, “The road to Wigan pier”, “Down and out in Paris and London”. I fear however we don’t have enough true believers. We live in a world of skepsis and if some whites live in Las Vegas’ sewer’s it is just because they are drug using failures. A real believer would want to explain how it came to such a pass and look for the good in them and display it while also depicting the depredations of the bad in their midst upon them.
But then again, who cares?
I think RF has an excellent goal. Translating 200 Years Together is so important, I’m surprised no one has done it yet.
I’m a big fan of Solzhenitsyn, and if I had the misfortune of getting sick and being laid up in bed, or go to prison, I’d translate “200 Years Together.” Otherwise, I don’t have the time.
However, I think it would be infinitely more valuable for us to own a convenience store and sponsor the local little leagues/soccer leagues, and start some kind of “local economy” organization. Not as glamorous as translating Solzhenitsyn, but much more practical value.
And I bet Sasha Solzhenitsyn, were he alive, would agree with me. He was definitely a nationalist in the racial sense, though he didn’t use the term “race.” In Russian, “natsiya” is the same thing as race, or pretty close.

Translate ONE chapter. ONE damn average chapter. Take your pick. One average chapter is 11000 words. Spend a year – translate 30 words or 2 sentences a day. Or take ANY chapter – there are some as small as 3000 words. Or Introductory essays in the beginning of each volume.
We will find 20 more men and the work will be done in ONE year.

I’m learning French and Latin right now so I wouldn’t mind cutting my teeth on translating from the French. I’m not actually fluent like Fred. Armor is actually a Frog and his English is top notch as everybody knows.

RF is correct–an English translation of Solzhenitsyn’s work is a complete winner, and will be to the credit of the WN movement.
Kievsky has some Russian, and so do I. Several chapters have reportedly been undertaken already. I am proud that so many realize this is an opportunity for us.
More to the point, I have editing skills, and would be willing to help with the problem of unifying the various chapter translations. This is an huge undertaking–make no mistake. But if people want to tackle it, then count me in. We can probably attract enough talent to complete the project.

Good idea, good projects. Just be aware that we have about two years to translate internet-working to real world-working. When the Ponzi-economy goes, the ZOG goes too and with it the power grid: no more internet. Kievsky, as I previously expressed my respect for your ideas, I DO agree that small-scale real world “not-glamorous” work is essentially the key to victory. I, however, also agree with recent Greg’s article on TOO. “Aim high”, he says, “Demand a lot”, he suggests. Without aspiring to stars, it’s hard to persuade people to do mundane work which needs to be done TO GET to those damn stars. We need high goals, and as Greg said in the above-mentioned essay, by stimulating our people to work hard we essentially ENERGIZE them.

I didn’t want to go there, but I expect a trouble with copyrights. From my sources I found that AS’ daughter Natalia is extremely uncooperative according to gossips. But I don’t care – first, the Russian text is in open, freely available for download from the “official” website – let see if they have a problem with its English translation.
Just think a little – AS was writing underground because the USSR didnt want his writings to be published. What a shame it will be if HIS CHILDREN for whatever reasons will obstruct propagation of their’ father work!

Well, not having a dedicated translator is apparently a drawback. But do we really have an option? We will try to make it as smooth as possible by consequent editions.
Another point. This is NOT a NOVEL. It is a bloody document reviewing a certain aspect of world history. IT IS NOT a pleasant occupation to read this book – and I was working on it reluctantly and slower than if it was a regular book because it is damn painful for me to internalize the story of this blood bath. As such, smoothness of narration is not the first thing you really care about.
For example, my wife couldn’t finish GULAG Archipelago exactly because of this inner torture.
I don’t know if the French I have has both volumes.
It appears to only be the ‘tome premeir’

I don’t want people to think I’m seizing credit for this project, so I want to give those who took the initiative to push this as an open source project the chance to speak their peace. I can ask Hunter to give you a userid so you can do translation project posts yourselves.

Kievsky, we need wide dissemination of this work. I cant care less about credits. I am writing a post for my site myself too – I dont think it can be too much. I can send you Ch. 20 if you remind me your email. It needs editing.
Please make a thread on the forum where we can coordinate the efforts.
Also copy the text of Ch.1 from the FirstWorld.
Thus we will duplicate the texts in several sources.
