Barack’s Crisis

BRA’s Freedom Ride

What you are seeing on television (unfolding before our eyes) is what it is like to be the President of the United States, but to not really be the President of the United States – it is a legitimacy crisis, a familiar type of historical scenario, which led to the defeat of John Quincy Adams who lost touch with the common folk.

Why is there a legitimacy crisis? Jacksonian Revolt, pure and simple, and it is coming in the best spirit of Jackson who waged war on the Federalists, and Wallace who waged war on LBJ over the Great Society and the Civil Rights Movement.

All the polls are swinging against him. The Money Power in New York City is trembling. The Mile High Club in the Beltway is living in mortal terror of the Heartland. The Tea Party is predictably transmogrifying into Hobbit Army waiting to follow Andrew Jackson from wherever he lives today.

It is an exciting time to be a political analyst. Who knows? Maybe I can find a job as a campaign consultant in the new establishment. I can “analyze” White America for them, LOL. I’m an expert on the subject.

Now playing:

Goodbye, Money Power.
