Found dead in a swimming pool:

Update: TMZ reports that Rodney had been drinking and smoking weed all day.

“LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Rodney King, who came to symbolize racial tensions in the United States after his 1991 beating at the hands of police led to deadly riots in Los Angeles a year later, was found dead in a swimming pool on Sunday in Rialto, California, police said. He was 47.

“Preliminary indications are that this is a drowning with no signs of foul play,” Rialto police said in a statement.

The final moments of Rodney King:

“We’re told Kelley says she next saw King at around 5:00 AM when she was awoken by him screaming in the backyard. Our sources say Kelley found King naked, banging on the glass, and she called out to him, “What’s wrong, Rodney?”Kelley is telling friends she then went to grab her phone when she heard a big splash. She then went to the backyard and discovered him in the bottom of the pool and called police. Paramedics attempted to revive King, but were unsuccessful.”

  1. Hey! If Barrack Obama had a drunken lowlife brother, he would look like Rodney King.

  2. “Civil Rights Martyr” – ITS A BLATANT CONTRADICTION IN TERMS… WHAT CIVIL RIGHTS AND WHY MARTYR? IMBECILES…

  3. Lol— He makes the bounty hunter sidekick German to cover his tracks and not appear political; the bad guy puts together roman gladiator games with the slaves (but of course they are not romans now but the transferred roman bad-thing is now on the southerners).

Maybe David Duke will once more (as with Glorious Basterds) want read all this to mean Tarantino is trying in some backdoor way to subvert the youknowwhos (but who he hangs out with and who give him awards and are his friends and fund him). Didn’t Dr. D. argue that the overblown violence in GB really made the audience sympathetic to the Germans. Idk— that’s a stretch.

  4. “Django remains focused on one goal: finding and rescuing Broomhilda (Kerry Washington), the wife he lost to the slave trade long ago.”

Wife? Before slavery niggers didn’t have wives. They were much like today. Hit it & forget it.

  5. Didn’t know this part from wiki:

“In November 1995, a gunman entered the halfway house and demanded to know where Koon was. Koon was on a holiday pass at the time. The gunman took three hostages, one of whom he later shot and killed.[4]…”

Koon was one of the two officers who was initially released, then re-tried and sent to prison. This happened after he was released to a halfway house. Also didn’t realize 53 people died in the 1990s melee.

  6. Hit it & forget it….

Even if one wouldn’t ever watch it, or watch it only for purposes of analysis, the fact is that other people do— and they are incited to violence, or their whole world view and emotional structure created out of propaganda such as this.

It’s dangerous for really nice and unsuspecting people— there are regular church going southerners who do not even know Tarantino exists, not really. They sum it up as well-packaged trash, and figure if they don’t partake, that’s enough. But many others do.

They can’t really ask themselves why one earth —and who on earth and why— would shower the creator with money and awards.

It’s kind of like the queen knighting Elton John. Recall it being sold to the public like the movie, the Queen (she’s old and just wants to be liked, like Diana and so she knights pop singing stars.) But anyone who can command an audience can put a word out—

And all those words add up to creating the public’s t.v. made world views.

  7. I wonder what the tox screens will say, as well.
20 years ago, 53 people died for no good reason.

  8. When I heard on the radio today that King had kicked it and drowned in his own pool I thought, “what drugs was he on now?”. Now we get to hear for the next few days “can’t we all get along” on an endless loop from the media.

  9. Stone and drunk, he fell in the pool and drowned. Priceless!

Good riddance to bad rubbish. I only wish a few more of them would get closer to a pool and fall in, too. It would save a lot of trouble.

  10. A very fitting end for him. Screaming and banging on his windows, drunk and high after an all night bender.
Then found dead at the bottom of his pool. Classic Rodney King.
I guess that’s why they call niggers, rock fish.

  11. Maybe they will make a movie about him? The beating, the time he exposed himself on PCP in the park, the time he got caught with the tranny prostitute, the time he crashed into the house, the multiple arrests for DUI and speeding including the one earlier this year, the Don Lemon Race and Rage documentary.

The culmination of his life story is getting drunk and high and collapsing and drowning at the bottom of a pool. Here lies one of the most important people in the late twentieth century.

Rodney King could be the avatar of BRA – the symbolic incarnation of DWLs elevating the most worthless and underserving people in America, demonizing White cops, and precipitating the devastating LA riots.

  12. I love it. The “fiancee” finds him at the bottom of the pool, having just heard him fall in. What does it do? Why, it calls the cops. You know, those nasty racists who beat people of color. “Please send someone to get my fiance out of the pool.” If she’d jumped in and pulled him out herself, she might have been able to save him. Thank heaven for negroid incompetence.

  13. SERIOUSLY, HOW MANY BLACK SWIMMERS ARE THERE IN SPORTS? SO ITS UNDERSTANDABLE WHAT HAPPENED TO KING…

  14. The cops should have shot him first time they found him. The scumbacks contributed to 53 deaths.

I wonder how many Trayvon will add to the list ?

  15. The utter agony this POS caused the entire nation, drowns in his own vomit (figuratively speaking).

They truly are a race without much to recommend them, at all.

  16. ” Just as every cop is a criminal
    And all the sinners saints
    As heads is tails
    Just call me Lucifer
‘Cause I’m in need of some restraint
    (who who, who who) ”

Starring the Pool, as Hero of the film.

Great comments, I am enjoying reading all of them.

I as well, dear Lily. I as well.

  19. He was probably on 100% disability due to the beating he took. Not saying he was actually disabled.

I doubt he was disabled. I saw an interview with him on CNN at his suburban home a few years ago. He said he skate boards for exercise, and then grabbed a board and took off down the street on it … and he was very good at it.
