Everywhere from FoxNews.com to CNBC.com, I suddenly see commentators warning of pending doom, economic collapse, and a new Great Depression. Welcome to my club. Perhaps America’s politicians and economists should have paid attention to an entrepreneur and small businessman that has been warning of economic collapse and a new Great Depression publicly for over two years.
More importantly, none of the current commentaries mention the “why’s” of this slow motion economic collapse…beyond the obvious –mountains of deficit and debt. None of them mention the dysfunctional structure of the current U.S. economy and the massive changes in the work ethic and mindset of the average American.
I am a successful small businessman and a patriot who loves America and always sees its greatness. I am also an optimistic, positive thinker who always sees the glass half full.
But not this time.
This time we are in such deep trouble, the only solution is a radical restructuring of the politicians, the economy, and the way we view personal responsibility versus government handouts. If those changes don’t come then we are facing a long decline and the eventual end of America.
This time the results are going to be dramatically worse than 1929. This time we are facing The Greatest Depression ever.

I’m skeptical about these warnings anymore. These guys have been crying wolf for a good decade now, but here we still are. Not saying it won’t happen, but I’m just pretty calloused to “dire warnings” at this point in my life.
And, predictably, there is no mention in the article of the racial component to our economic woes — just “politicians”. Although one glance at that hideous mystery-meat whale in the accompanying photo will say plenty.
At least two science fiction writers whereof I know, Robert A. Heinlein and Robert Silverberg, predicted, back in the 1950s and 1960s, that a depression and an explosion of craziness would occur in our present time-frame. Who here knows of other science fiction predictions of like import, that have come true?

I have been reading of doom and gloom since the late sixties. Usually from religious based authors like Hal Lyndsay, Gary North, Joel Skousen, Gary Weisenhunt, La Haye, David Wilkerson, Dave Hunt, Grant Jeffries, Agee, and many, many more. I bought Camping’s book ‘ 1994?’ which was his date for the end of the world based on biblical numerology. He was at it again last year with the same result.
I owned a pile of prophetic books on Matt:24, Ezekiel 38:39, and Revelations/Apocalypse. Seals, horsemen, thunders, trumpets, scorchings of the earth, famines, earthquakes, nuclear attacks and I forgot what else.
The mark of the Beast, False Prophet, Israel and end times eschatology is a huge money maker.
Naming the Anti-Christ was always popular. Candidates were Roosevelt, Mussolini, Hitler, Rockefeller, Kissinger, Gorbachev, Prince Hussein of Jordan, Hussein of Iraq, Popes, Prince Charles, Khomeini, Arafat, Rev. Moon, Lord Maitreya etc., etc.
Howard Ruff, Don McAlvany and others of their ilk have expected/predicted the total collapse of everything several times already. I read the best selling book written by an Indian investment guru who claimed the mother of all depressions would occur in 1990.
Hyper-inflation or deflation is always right around the corner.
The Y2K non-disaster finally turned me off to everything. If something happens I will deal with it the best I can. I’m through worrying about it and stocking up on canned goods and bags of rice in my basement.
I’m making it my personal crusade ala Kievsky to convince young white Americans that “America” hates us. It is becoming remarkably easy. We all grew up in this declining diversity obsessed shithole. The only real America we ever knew was our parents/grandparents photo albums.

For those that are skeptical, I will quote Orlov: Economic “collapse is a process.” In short, it has been and indeed is happening economically. Events can and will happen that will mark time (e.g., the Berlin Wall “falls”, the stock market “crash” of 1929, the “financial crisis” of 2008, etc., etcetera). In fact, we are already in the “worst depression”. Historians and your standard politically correct economists typically mark large economic cycles one or two years (if not a decade or two, especially for the biggies) after the cycle has turned. What is especially frog in pot about this one is how late in the game people are waking up; and typically only after (if ever) they have been slapped in the face one or two times. One would thing people who see the racial aspect of this would almost universally see the clear economic signs. Anyway, it will get worse and this fall and winter should see an acceleration of events that will mark an acceleration of what already is. Have a nice day.

What would their reaction be?
Collapse is a process but it plays out differently for places depending on their size and interconnectedness to the rest. Us is the vented of the international monetary system and largest economy. Our collapse will look more like Britain’s. Process of the 19th century.

Anyway, his thesis is that the US fall from grace and financial center power will be much like the slow collapse of other great empires like Britain and the dutch before them. Not like Zimbabwe or Argentina. The crime from Argentina like ferfal outlines may be instructive to those living in particularly hard hit places in the U.S. So maybe kidnapping gangs start operating in detroit and other nigger infested areas…..but who cares?

Idk, SL— I think it was like now. The world was happening all around them in their usual slumber —and history wouldn’t put most of those names we use now on the events until later— so they just sort of moved through it, never really thinking.
Although I have some family letters from the 30s by some young girls in the family, who were middle class at the time. They talk, in a kind of vague sort of way, about an awareness of people becoming poorer or ‘tramps in the trains’ and how awful it is, and their sense of christian charity. So even teenage girls did know something was going on. The 30s had some areas more protected, and no y-tubes showing the worst places, and letters were being posted by train.
The War of NA was impossible to miss in the south, however. But it scarcely touched some in the north. Out of sight, out of mind.

There are always people unaffected from the unpleasant events. During the depression, more folks had work then were unemployed. If you were part of the 25% unemployed things looked a lot worse for you vs the other 75%

I wouldn’t hold my breath for an economic collapse. The remedy for that is simply a major war, either declared or undeclared. Wars are great for reducing unemployment through conscription or death. Wars always cause coservitards to go hyper-patriotic shutting down any conservative resistance to the military they worship. Wars also draw attention from our own domestic dispossession. Wars give an excuse to import hundreds is thousands of people we “liberate”, and allow us to enforce NWO institutions and our NWO culture (wholesome values like easy divorce, legal sodomy, diversity, dept driven consumerism, etc) at the point of a gun.
