Its seems odd that the talk of Southern succession is getting stronger and Hollywood just came out with “Django Unchained” and “Lincoln” (Speilberg actually means exaggeration mound). Prefect timing for anti-Southerner demonization.

I wouldn’t go as far as “brilliant”, but a good effort. We need more professional-standard videos on this subject. By that I mean videos scripted, performed and edited to a high standard. For example, a decent director would have drawn his attention to that irritating lip-smacking habit.
By contrast, that RamZPaul video is just embarrassing. It’s incoherent, disjointed and amateurish. He wants a plan for secession, but he keeps calling for succession. I’m sure the squids already have a plan for succession, and I’m equally sure we’re not going to like it.
AnalogMan, I agree with you about the need for professional-quality media.
The other side has it down pat; it’s time we get up to speed, and get out of the basement-quality presentations.

Thought Ramzpaul was doing a parody of those laughable black-and-white over-the-top-in-pain commercials where they go on and on and in a bitchy voice, demand their rights. It was intentional.

Dixiegirl: Never having seen the original, I wouldn’t recognise a parody. It’s quite possible I’ve been bitten again by Poe’s Law.
I have my doubts that the South is homogenous enough to see itself as a separate entity from the rest of the United States.
I know a handful of people who will fly a confederate flag, but I don’t consider any of them as allies in a cause for new Southern secession.
So, that said: I disagree with Analogue Man. We need a new generation of Fire Eaters, blasting the establishment from basements all over the South. Even 1 per state would be something.
And for what it’s worth (speaking as someone who has been involved in professional t.v. and radio production) I think the quality of this video is better than the standard Youtube production.

While the message here is sound, Southern nationalists need to figure out how to mainstream it, and quick, while the people cut loose from this last election are still looking for a political “home”. Angry kook-fringe-looking basement-ranting videos, while they may make *us* feel good, are not going to cut it for these people.
Look at the professionalism involved in Scotland’s independence effort, for example, or génération identitaire. If we want to reach the mainstream… we’ve got to LOOK mainstream.
This was one of the best clips I’ve seen in a long time. My only complaint is his statements referring to the system only failing Southerners. To set the record straight, the system has failed us copperheads, too.
