    Doesn’t this internationalize it? Boston’s most famous sporting event…possibly the most famous event and the shot heard found the world…

    This is certainly a very loaded with symbolism day.

    The security detail at the event totally fucked this up.

    Patriots Day is celebrated on the third Monday of April, in commemoration of the battles of Lexington and Concord.

    I’m surprised that the security near the end line allowed people to abandon large bags for long enough for a bomb to be set. I’d have had metal detectors in the finishing area and sniffer dogs at least.

    Just a thought DHS readers, do your job by sniffing out bombers eh?

  6. Patriot Day is the day Paul Revere supposedly rode and by tradition marks the day the American revolution started. It’s a big deal in Boston. The red sox play, and there are many other activities besides the marathon.

    This tells me that someone knew something was going to go down and they brought in these guys to stop it. Called it a drill so as not to panic people.

    The marathon was under heavy guard, but, the “stars” of the marathon were long gone by the time the bomb blasts went off, which tell me that security was lowered because since the “main event” was done with, the threat level was much lower.

    False Flag?? Maybe, remember all these “crazy bombers” lately have been groomed by the FBI & DHS and supplied with bombs by FBI & DHS, then taken down at the “last minute” before they hurt anyone. Same thing in this case, but maybe this guy got away from his handlers…

    Not saying this is what happened here. But it’s very suspicious because it’s a false flag pattern to get assets in the area undetected. (Because they are members of the drill team).

  12. The op in boston was not large enough to be a false flag op. It would have to do a lot more damage to “unify” the country. Or kill no one but destroy a national landmark.

    Remember though, these DHS guys have essentially a unlimited budget and nothing really to do, so, they might just be running these drills continuously in major cities all the time for all we know.

    However, far from being a poor made bomb, this could be seen a well made device made on the fly. The injuries are gruesome and have sheared off legs leaving dozens of people with amputation level wounds. That’s something that a mine designer is looking to do with anti personnel mines.

    I wouldn’t discount a Baine wannabe nutcase but I’ve changed my opinion of the aim and design since I saw the injured being lead away. The types of injury look made for TV.

  42. I didn’t finish my thoughts; boston was not a big enough hit to get folks spun up to invade iran, but it is or would be enough of a hit to continue justifying the budget for homeland defense drones and what not.

    I don’t dismiss the idea this could be a false flag op. Don’t know for sure, and how could any know for certain? However, anyone who thinks the us govt is above such things is ignorant of history, but I do dismiss the idea this is a pre war with iran false flag op.

    My hunch is that it was the work of Muslim terrorists connected to the large Somali community in Portland, Maine.

    These kinds of events have the effect of accustoming us to scenes of genuine bloodshed.

  47. Groups of Somalis and other foreign niggers in the area would not have aroused supsicions, their presence being explained by their (assumed) connection to East African runners. These runners tend to finish first, which is the reason the bombs were detonated at the 4-hour mark when East African runners were well out of the way.
