WASHINGTON (AP) — Vice President Joe Biden is praising Jewish leaders for helping change American attitudes about gay marriage and other issues. Biden says culture and arts change people’s attitudes. He cites social media and the old NBC TV series “Will and Grace” as examples of what helped changed attitudes on gay marriage.

Biden says, quote, “Think — behind of all that, I bet you 85 percent of those changes, whether it’s in Hollywood or social media, are a consequence of Jewish leaders in the industry.”

Biden says the influence is immense and that those changes have been for the good.

Biden was speaking Tuesday night at a Jewish American Heritage Month reception hosted by the Democratic National Committee. He says Jewish values are an essential part of who Americans are.

    Gay marriage is banned in every Southern state. Jewish influence has one effect in the Northeastern states and just the opposite effect in the South.

    This process has not gotten as far in the South. Southern culture, being more homogenous, is more resistant to such destructive forces. Southern culture also de-emphasizes the foundational myth of yankeedom, namely the “melting pot,” which is used to justify the entire project in the name of greater tolerance.

    Southerners are very aware that substantial numbers of rural northern whites are politically marginalized within their own states. The fact of their existence is tangential to the discussion. The simple fact remains that yankees are more susceptible to Jewish influence and much more enthusiastic participants in the destruction of western civilization.

    Biden is a complete idiot but he is also a perfect example of an overexcited “more tolerant than thou” multicultural yankee crowing about the destruction of white people and white civilization.

But, taking your ideas on their own terms for the sake of discussion, what is your proposed solution to the problem you perceive, with details? There is no takeaway with your ideas. You’re not saying what to do about other than in nebulous generalities.

    Suppose an advocate wants to convince Southerners not to support wars for Israel. To do this, the person would necessarily have to directly attack Jews in order to explain people why the wars are in fact for Israel’s benefit and why they are being manipulated.

Please tell us, concretely, how you propose we convince people to stop listening to Jews. It seems that doing this will necessarily requires extensive explanation, education and elucidation of the basic facts about the Jewish agenda. Explaining the ways in which Jewish influence is harmful to raise consciousness about the problem does seem to necessarily require blaming Jews. Jews themselves would interpret it that way.

  43. The problem with white nationalists is that they think it’s just a small section of society that disagrees with them, but the majority agrees with them.

    Biden may have given superficial lip service to that idea, but I think even he knows that if a bunch of Orthodox Jews started slamming gay marriage and making a lot of noise, and they had money, and the liberal Jews shut up, it wouldn’t change the way the public voted outside of the Jewish community.

    The fact of the matter is that in this case it was the average person who supported gay marriage, not a small elite.
