The Cost of the Union: Dissent “Festers” In South and West

Because of the existence of the Union, Obama can safely ignore the White people in the South and Far West:

“Mr. Obama’s near-complete absence from more than 25 percent of the states, from which he is politically estranged, is no surprise, in that it reflects routine cost-benefit calculations of the modern presidency. But in a country splintered by partisanship and race, it may also have consequences.

America’s 21st-century politics, as underscored by the immigration debate now embroiling Congress, increasingly pits the preferences of a dwindling, Republican-leaning white majority against those of expanding, Democratic-leaning Hispanic and black minorities. 1. Fatal flaw in the Constitution. States fought like hell during the Constitutional Convention so that the smaller ones got the same number of senators. Connecticut even went as far as threatening to declare war.
Since the 17th amendment a senator is just an overpaid representative any way. The States have no say.

  2. Did anyone hear about the latest bullshit eminating from our 9 perverts in robes? Arizona is not allowed to require proof of citizenship to vote, they must use the federal form requiring the voter to swear they are citizens. The traitors have the gall to tell us, as in preaching, that only citizens can vote and that anyone suspected of not being a citizen could be investigated and charged. Yeah, right! They would go down great sequestering any Mexican not known personally by someone at the booth.
This was Scalia supporting this too!
How long are the States going to put up with this bullshit?

  3. “How long are the States going to put up with this bullshit?”

Easy answer. They will continue to put up with it as long as they remain in the glorious union. Voting rights are cibbil rights, don’t you know.

Marbury v. Madison was the decisive turning point that established government by judicial fiat. Add in the “equal protection” clause from the illegally ratified fourteenth amendment and the recipe for our current mess has all the key ingredients necessary.
