Here’s a four part video shot from the perspective of the liberal counter-protesters at the big anti-mosque demonstration in Murfreesboro in 2010:
Note: The anti-mosque protesters marched to the Rutherford County Courthouse with American flags, Israeli flags, and Gadsden flags while singing “God Bless America.” Their black leader, Kevin Fisher, who is featured in the CNN documentary, spent most of his time denouncing bigotry, racism, and intolerance with his megaphone.
The liberal counter-protesters met their parade at the Murfreesboro courthouse and shouted “USA, USA, USA” and “Freedom Now” and sang the “Star Spangled Banner.” They denounced the “intolerance” of the anti-mosque protesters and portrayed them as un-American hypocrites with a confused message.
The protesters came across as very weak with their message that it had nothing to do with ‘racism.’ They were defensive. And they were flying the US flag, as were the counter-protesters. The counter-protesters even out-did them by singing the Empire’s awful anthem. It was terrible to watch. The counter-protesters repeated their mantras effectively. They were better led and more energetic. The protesters were not on message. They were poorly led. And they seemed to have little energy.
In the description of the second video, the protesters and the counter-protesters competed with each other in chanting “USA, USA, USA” and in singing patriotic songs.
I didn’t watch the videos because you really can’t protest a mosque as an “American”, at least not as one that believes in “freedom”. The League of the South could though, so this really could be a great way to get Tennessee behind secession.

Both groups of protesters were wrong, one more consistently wrong. I like Palmetto’s use of one of out favourite terms — “Empire” — in his comment above. Neither side in the protest was connecting the Muslim invasion to the Amerikan Empire’s attacks on their homelands.
Protests, and conferences, dinners, general meetings and committee meetings that are forced before “critical mass” develops in a properly informed society can be immense time and energy (and treasure) wasters, Pyrrhic victories at best as some Tea Partiers are finally slowly realising. However, until critical mass develops (if it ever does) some STRATEGIC protests can function as information sources for some of the poorly informed or yet un-informed who haven’t used the internet sources or need to see the real people behind those sources. But mass daily door to door and word of mouth direct contacts with ordinary people TRULY living the Christian life, and vigorous support and leadership from the pulpits in conservative churches are unsurpassed and essential — and finally, certain wise jokes, aphorisms and memes can penetrate the wall of Imperial propaganda and “go viral”.
Palmetto, is the Imperial anthem really “awful”, in itself? The songwriter was a southerner, kept slaves, prosecuted abolitionists in court — and the anthem lyrics are martial, even violent. But it’s been done to death by too many non-white singers in sports stadiums, and of course a new nation cannot share an anthem.
The way to protest the Muslim’s building Mosques is to have images of Muslim atrocities printed up. Sing Christian songs.
Also a simple statement like this:
Egypt used to be Christian, now it’s Islamic.
Syria was the center of Christianity
Now it is a Muslim hellhole.
Use Christianity as your plate armour. It’s pretty handy. Evangelical Christianity was started by Paul in Syria. It thrived there as the main religion for centuries. How is it that devout American Christians do not see that Islam colonized that land? Point that out to the locals.
Mosin Nagant, it’s true that my objection to the Empire’s song is mostly ideological. As you point out it has been ruined. That said, it’s not a very good anthem. It’s difficult to sing well, especially for the average person. There are much better anthems around the world.
I didn’t watch them. I just get sick about hearing about muslims. Am I alone in this as a u.s. citizen? Mostly, b/c we have millions of south americans. About “BRA”— fact is, southerners in north america have lived with black people for centuries and many share the same religion (sort of) at least. Latin-land is just more foreign, even the white latins, imo. (Different religion, different trajectory to country, different arts, music level of “culture,” different language, different part of homeland-europe, different “historical narrative” in regard to the whole latin world, and in fact they smell different, and etc, etc, etc.)
While “we’re all white here,” the fact is that (under law) the above list of “differences” does amount to Genocide when you get rid of a group that has that much in common, (even if two groups are “white.”)
Anyway—- muslims seems an imported ISSUE from the Latin group.
What is BIZARRE is this: didn’t they “win” those “crusades” of their a billion years ago? Why did they have to keep doing THOSE ANCIENT crusades when they got off the boat in the U.S.?
Mosin is right— that the importation of their HISTORICAL ISSUES (which meant they kept making war on their old “crusade” targets— and frankly, not JUST THE muslims, but the northwest european protestants who created the U.S., AND some jews, not just the commie ones, although they made the best allies, ironically, WITH the commie ones , WHILE USING past history where they did not, to say that they have always been a “bulwark against communism,” which is one of their Memes.

Has it ever crossed your mind that if you would leave those backwards savages alone in their homelands and cease meddling in their affairs for the sake of Israel in order to be “raptured” or what ever other stupidity you Protestants come up with next we wouldn’t have trouble with those people? And besides, the historical record proves that you Protestants were perfectly willing to stab Whites in the back through alliances with Muslims when it suited your purposes.

Dixie Girl, I understand where you are coming from on that. I definitely don’t want it to appear that we are neo-cons or just hate Muslims because of their religion. That’s not really the issue. The Feds have dumped 25,000 on a previously homogeneous part of the South – almost certainly intentionally to dilute the area. We’re there not to protest their religion but to protest our demographic displacement.
The Holder DOJ and the ADL also teamed up with a federal judge to accelerate the opening of the mosque.

Suppose Tennessee changed it to an “Office of Tennessean Cultural Conservation” (of resistance to Federal efforts to colonise Tennessee with Muslim “refugees” and other non-indigenous peoples). If state governments wouldn’t cooperate so well with the Federal, the process could be slowed.
It is my understanding that there is nothing the local county government in Murfreesboro, much less the Tennessee state government, could do to stop the construction of the mosque. It is legal under the First Amendment and Fourteenth Amendment.

It’s clear enough what she meant. Every Papist Crusade, including the ones directed against Muslims, resulted in destruction of other Christian churches that did not submit to Rome. The persecutions, inquisitions and crusades against ethnic churches in North Africa, Armenia, Mesopotamia and the Balkans led to the loss of all those areas and most of Spain to Muslims — and the Roman crusades did more harm than good to the greatest Papal rivals of all, the Byzantines. Now in the new world, the anti-Muslim crusades continue to the final destruction of Christianity in what is now “the Muslim world”, and further weakening of Christianity (non-Roman) in the West.
That is the meaning I find in her comment.

I can appreciate the need to stay on point, but I wouldn’t blithely disregard islam. If nothing else it’s an excellent rhetorical tool with which to point out the blind ideological zeal of your white liberal opponents. Islam is barbaric, retrograde dogshit that doesn’t even begin to comport with liberals’ most cherished values but liberals insist that criticizing it is out of bounds. Of course, liberals expect muslims to eventually drop the dogmatic bullshit now that they’re in an environment that permits and indirectly encourages them to, and large numbers of them indeed do drop it. But there’s a long, painful waiting period, and large numbers of them don’t drop it at all, which means they’re a permanent and growing problem. Liberals’ zeal effectively blinds them to all this so these are useful debating points even if they do stray beyond strict racial demographic issues. If a person isn’t prepared to go all the way with you on race right now, the odds of his eventually doing can only be improved if he sees the insanity of your opposition for what it is.
