  1. Good deal. I’m listening to some Toby Keith, or at least the Toby Keith before he went full patriotard. Sure, “Courtesy of the Red White and Blue.” When are we going to start, Toby? All we do is kinda love pat our Muslim enemies then let hundreds of thousands of them immigrate in after 9/11.

  2. Charlie Daniels
you used to be one of my heros
but you stuck your finger in the air and found out which way the wind blows
kinda like a chameleon you’ve become as you’ve grown old
and you might have alot of money
but you sure ain’t got no soul
and I ain’t asking you for nothin
if I can’t get it on my own
if you don’t like the way I’m livin
you just leave this long-haired country boy alone

I sing this song as an older man
who like you used to use some drugs
and I as much as anyone else
    have no sympathy for thugs
    but your new-found anti-drug crusade
    strikes me as hypocrisy
do you really want your old friends
to swing up from a tree
and I ain’t asking you for nothin
if I can’t get it on my own
if you don’t like the way I’m livin
you just leave this long-haired country boy alone

Charlie Daniels your old songs meant alot to me
but why you had to change your tune is something I can’t see
you’ve become the old green-teeth that you kicked right in the knee
and you can keep your Jew-worshipping Neocon politics the hell away from me
and I ain’t asking you for nothin
if I can’t get it on my own
if you don’t like the way I’m livin
you just leave this long-haired country boy alone

  3. Jon,

I feel your pain. But don’t think Chalie Daniels sold out in the way, say Andy Griffith or John Cougar Mellencamp sold out.

Toby Keith and Hank Williams Jr are pretty much like George Dubya Bush – dumb asses, easily manipulated by the Jews, they like being rich and in the public view, so they go with the flow, the flow being a sewer.

At least Charlie Daniels should be commended for breaking the Knoxville horror rape, murder atrocity story.

But, yeah, Charlie’s politics were much better back in the day, that’s why I included this old song.

  4. I wore out my Fire on the Mountain LP but felt sick hearing the patriotardism of In America and It’s a Flag Not a Rag and was kicked off his message board for asking, “what about the Stars and Bars, Charlie”? He’s too smart not to know whom he was cheerleading for with the “kill some towelheads for Jesus and the flag” stuff and how evil and responsible at the same time for the degeneration of Americans they are, imo. I still like that song, though
