Live Thread: Tenth Republican Debate

On the eve of the last Republican debate before Super Tuesday, the cucks are neocohens are in meltdown mode:

Charles C.W. Cooke:

“Incidentally, when I say “everything,” I really do mean everything. Tomorrow night, as they stand on either side of Trump, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz must find their resolve and all-but-machine-gun the man to the floor. …”

Tom Nichols:

“More to the point, after four years of thrashing around in the Oval Office like the ignorant boor he is, voters will no longer be able distinguish between the words “Trump,” “Republican,” “conservative,” and “buffoon.” He will obliterate Republicans further down the ticket in 2016 and 2020, smear conservatism as nothing more than his own brand of narcissism, and destroy decades of hard work, including Ronald Reagan’s legacy. …

It is precisely to protect the viability of the conservative movement that I will stand aside and accept that, if all else fails, Hillary must beat The Donald.”

Ben Domenech:

“This may seem unpresidential in the scheme of things. But it is not the case in this cycle. Going after Trump on Trump’s term will require behaving in a way that any traditionally minded person will find appalling – but it would make for must see TV. Take the flamethrower to him. Interrupt him constantly. Belittle him. Insult him. Play on his very obvious insecurities. Give him a nickname – just start calling him “Marla”, without any explanation, and pretend you don’t even realize it. Don’t let him talk. Bash him for hiring foreign workers. Bash him for loving Planned Parenthood. Bash him for his obsession with Megyn Kelly. Make note of his stubby fingers and small hands – we all know what that means. When he responds with ever-increasing insults and shushing, tell him to go get his shinebox. …”

Erick Erickson:

“Those of us who have long affiliated with the Republican Party would be wise to publicly disassociate ourselves with a very dangerous mix of nationalism and tribalism. That combination has, historically, never ended well and Republicans should be willing to reject it.

It is time for Republicans to give serious consideration to an exit strategy from their own party if Trump is successfully able to take it over. Not doing so will be destructive to Republicans down to the local level. Guilt by association with Trump will have serious repercussions for all Republican elected officials and public figures. …”

Jonah Goldberg:

Josh Hammer:

“Metaphorically speaking, the moment is now for Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio to unleash their inner William Tecumseh Shermans on Donald Trump. We are rapidly approaching the point of no return in the insane phenomenon that is the bloviating non-conservative narcissist Trump’s hostile takeover of the Republican Party apparatus. The undermining of said structural apparatus would be simply devastating for the conservative movement, and quite possibly usher in the end of the two-party system as we know it.”

Ben Shapiro:

“Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) has one option if he wants to win the Republican nomination. Tomorrow night, during a debate with Donald Trump, Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), Ohio Governor John Kasich, and Dr. Ben Carson, Cruz must clock Trump as hard as he can with his best rhetorical punch. He can’t be lawyerly. He can’t be civil. He has to get in the mud with Trump and pulverize him. …”

Robert Kagan:

“When the plague descended on Thebes, Oedipus sent his brother-in-law to the Delphic oracle to discover the cause. Little did he realize that the crime for which Thebes was being punished was his own. Today’s Republican Party is our Oedipus. A plague has descended on the party in the form of the most successful demagogue-charlatan in the history of U.S. politics. The party searches desperately for the cause and the remedy without realizing that, like Oedipus, it is the party itself that brought on this plague. It is the party’s own political crimes that are being punished in a bit of cosmic justice fit for a Greek tragedy.

Let’s be clear: Trump is no fluke. Nor is he hijacking the Republican Party or the conservative movement, if there is such a thing. He is, rather, the party’s creation, its Frankenstein monster, brought to life by the party, fed by the party and now made strong enough to destroy its maker. …

So what to do now? The Republicans’ creation will soon be let loose on the land, leaving to others the job the party failed to carry out. For this former Republican, and perhaps for others, the only choice will be to vote for Hillary Clinton. The party cannot be saved, but the country still can be.”

Note: Robert Kagan, who is vowing to vote for Hillary Clinton, was one of the biggest cheerleaders and architects of the Iraq War.

    • He’s dominating though. Trump is on fire.

Two candidates look presidential: Trump and Kasich. They win this, everyone else loses.

Trump is a little too aggressive. He shouldn’t have hit that guy’s radio program. But otherwise he’s doing great.

And it sounds like Kasich is a liberal big spender in a state that profited from fracking. And that money makes him look good.

  1. Why the hell does Cruz bring up polls? Trump killed him on that that. Trump’s answer on taxes was good. I have been audited and I have nothing compared to Trump. Can be tied up forever if you want to fight and not get railroaded.

      • Christian Zionist believe that their cult truly represents Christianity. Their cult is only about 40-50 years old. There is no Biblical or historical basis for worshiping the Jewish people.

And I will make it very clear, these people are a part of our problem. Rapture ready Christian Zionist have no vested interest in the future. They don’t care about the demographic time bomb and cultural rot because they believe that they will soon be raptured into heaven. All of their time, effort, and resources has been invested into supporting Israel so that they can be raptured. This escapist mentality is a part of what’s destroying us.

  2. I swear Trump is trying to win me over specifically. Bring peace to the ME? I love peace! He must have read me on twitter. (I’m joking.)

Kasich is copying Trump on working with China to resolve NK.

    • Trump is running hard to the center tonight, which I love. It’s not about the Cuban Connection, it’s about the White House in 2017.

    • They want us overrun. Then we get terrorist attacks here. Then they get more policing powers, more demands for war.

They want us overrun with Muslims. Then we’re supposed to unite with Israel, like the EU far-right.

    • When you’re getting paid by two Fifth Column mohels, I mean moles, like Saban and Adelson, they set your policy.

  3. Watching the debate live and getting sick to my stomach from all the fawning over Israel. And, Ben Carson, we do not have a Judeo-Christian foundation. The United States has a Christian foundation. This Judeo-Christian crap is just another piece of false history being peddled by the pseudo-Jews.

  4. Erick Erickson: Those of us who have long affiliated with the Republican Party would be wise to publicly disassociate ourselves with a very dangerous mix of nationalism and tribalism. That combination has, historically, never ended well and Republicans should be willing to reject it.

When has that “dangerous” mix of nationalism and tribalism ever been tried by the Republican Party? Erick is just making shit up (as usual)

  5. I believe Trump went into this with a boxer’s mentality, let them “swing for the fences” and just keep giving those little body shots and clinching.

    • Hispanics sound even more retarded than niggers when talking politics. At least blacks fought for their political gains (even if they would have gotten nowhere without the assist from Big Hebrew), and so necessarily learned a few tricks along the way. Hispanics, in contrast, have been living on PC easy street, so when forced to fend for themselves sound like complete morons.

  6. Ill-eagle [g]immigrunts cum-cummon’ in from Canuckistan, selling heroin, committing acts of tewwowism . . . running as a Republicuck for President . . .

Build a wall on the Canuckistani border and make Goldmamzer-Sucks the kike vampire-squid pay for it!!!

  7. Right now at NatRev HQ, the staff is sitting pants-less around the TV with some cheap white wine and a jumbo plate of bagels and lox – and every time Marco paints that faggy smile on his face, the circle jerk automatically quickens the pace. They’ll finally climax during his closing remarks.

  8. Nice! Now Trump is switching to phase II, focusing on policy not personal attacks.

That is just what I’ve been wanting.

And he’s trying to win over Carson, praises Kasich. Very good, to split vote.

    • Only mildly hit Kasich saying he was lucky with oil but did a good job as governor. Went for the cuck vote and the few blacks watching by defending Ben.

      • Carson might drop out soon. Trump wants Carson’s voters and Carson’s endorsement. Many Carson supporters are white, of course.

Trump attacked Carson on health insurance, I believe, but he also defended Carson on Iowa. And he said neither Carson nor Kasich got much time.

Carson’s supporters were watching the tv cheering when Trump made some of those points.

        • Cruz wants Carson’s supporters (largely evangelical), too. Carson is all too well aware of this and is still ticked off at Cruz over his theft by fraud of Carson’s Iowa supporters when he led them to believe that Carson had already dropped out.

Though Carson may not be a big Trump Fan, it would be an awesome payback against Cruz, if he could keep his own supporters long enough to prevent Cruz from winning Texas to bolster himself as the only Republican candidate able to beat Trump.

I think that he drops out right after Super Tuesday.

It’s obvious to me that Kasich has adopted John McCain’s “Run Silent, Run Deep” strategy of 2008. He’s doing his best to remain quiet and unobtrusive by calling as little of Trump’s attention to himself as possible. He’s waiting for the Donors to realize that both the Cubans are too unpalatable to the largely White Republican electorate,

Once Carson and the Cuban leave the field, that puts Kasich at Number Two for all the establishment Republicans to rally around. I would not be surprised if Trump is talked into taking him on as his running mate to “unite and heal” the party like Reagan had to do with Bush.

    • Agreed. I thought Rubio came off as very childish and Cruz said some really crazy shit like it is good to let people die in the street and bringing up polls that Trump is losing when Trump is blowing these guys out of the water everywhere..

Biggest takeaway was that they looked very desperate which as we know they are. Their attacks were weak and unorganized just trying to throw everything they had at him but in the end it was shit that Americans could care a less about like tax returns and something about polish immigrants 30 years ago.

      Epic fail for the establishment

  9. Cruz is not going to gain anything from his performance.

Rubio swinging away wildly. Stays where he’s at. Tries to be sassy. Won’t work. He’s still a little shrimp.

Kasich might gain the votes of people who don’t like fighting and are pragmatic. Did not mention his mail man father for the first time unless I missed it.

    Carson. Flat lined.

Trump was Trump. Hit a few homers, fouled off a few. Killed Cruz on standings in the polls. Responded well to the tax issue. Hit a grand slam when he said he gets more of the hispanic votes than the two Cubans combined.

Nothing changed to drastically altar the race.

    • he mentioned it opening statement (which was a touching homage to an America that was and will never be again, even with Trump).

  10. Trump said nobody supports Israel more than himself, but also said he would remain neutral in trying to negotiate peace.

How does that play across America?

    Cruz and Rubio went ballistic.

Other than Zionists, Christian and jewish, does the neutral peacemaker shtick work out for Trump among the general public or not?

  11. Trump said he even sent money to Cruz. what did Trump say about an autographed book he sent to Rubio or vice versa? Only caught a few words.

  12. Oh, I forgot about the ex Mexican prez telling Trump they aren’t paying for the effing wall.

Trump: ‘The wall just got 10 feet higher.’

    Fabulously Alpha!!!!

  13. I honestly don’t know what to think about how this went. I’m trying to avoid confirmation bias, but I really want to think that this didn’t change any outcomes next week for the worst. It’s hard to figure people, though.

    • No one was watching except people too knowledgeable to be swayed by “Debates”.

Tuesday will be as the polls said they will be, if not more so. People like to vote for a winner.

        • That’s because he is. No one said he was perfect, he’s just the only one advocating a wall + deportation. He has balls, courage and that means much more than policy bona fides and gentlemanly comportation.

He’s a barbarian tribal leader for a time of strife.

          • “Look at these two nothings. They don’t have enough imagination to do anything other than ‘attack’ me tonight, just as the establishment pundits have been telling them to. That’s about as much imagination as they’ve brought to Washington so far.”

That’s what Trump might reasonably have said.

          • My concern is for the outcome next week. People are strange, and you never know how they’re going to react. My hunch is that Cruz will probably win Texas, cuz maybe Texans want to show that they’re as stupid as Iowans – I don’t know. But I think Trump will take pretty much everything else.

  14. The IRS screwed up any person or group that was remotely conservative. Mitt never gave up his tax returns, just a summary.

Carson: After I Spoke Out Against Obamacare, I Was Audited…

    Mitt Romney ? ?@MittRomney
.@realDonaldTrump taxes for last 4+ years are still being audited. There are more #bombshells or he would release them.

  15. They hammered Trump very hard. I actually thought maybe he would have a problem when the questioners, Rubio, and Cruise were all flailing away at him all at once but he just brushed it off. He’s an incredibly sure person. One person mentioned Rubio’s soap boy fun. I think Trump is trying to balance Cruise and Rubio to keep them both in the race. SO he goes after him hard but not enough to knock him out.

Trump shut out Cruise when he noted that Cruise would have an even harder time with Hillary. He broke all of Cruises “who electable” talking points I thought. I was impressed. He takes pressure incredibly well. Lets hope others see Trump as most of us do. The possibilities are endless for saving the US if we have an aggressive pro-US President that will look after the country first. A President has an awesome amount of power. Just look what Obama has been able to get away with and he has minimal support.

We’re in dire straits now but look what Hitler did. (No I’m not saying Trumps Hitler. I just noting the actual policy decisions that can be made and the results). He took a completely bankrupt country where people were selling their children on the streets to eat and turned it into a power house in a few years. If even half the products made overseas were made here instead there would be a huge boom. Each dollar paid into wages here recirculates around ten times. The U.S. trade deficit was $531.5 billion in 2015. So if half of that was made here and circulated ten times it could mean as much as 2.5 Trillion dollars circulating. That’s a LOT of money no matter how it’s measured.

  16. Mr. Erickson, Your Cuckness, Nationalism and Tribalism worked out pretty well for the Founding Fathers and the nation for nearly two Centuries until 1964 Civil Rights Act and 1965 Immigration Law ruined it.

  17. Trump. GOD wills it. YHWH GOD. And his SON, Jesus Christ.
    Get it? Got it? GOOD.

‘Do you really want to thwart the Will of God’s Annointed, Cucks?
    Do you really?

  18. Trump called Rubio a “choke artist,” and Rubio just plastered that faggy grin on his face.

    Funny stuff.
