President Trump Offers Path To Citizenship

President Trump is offering a path to citizenship for DACA recipients in the framework of his immigration plan which is set to be released on Monday:

“President Trump told mainstream media reporters on Wednesday that he was open to breaking his immigration commitment by giving a pathway to U.S. citizenship to nearly 800,000 illegal aliens shielded from deportation by the President Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

In statements outside the White House, Trump told the Associated Press (AP) that he would be open to giving U.S. citizenship to DACA illegal aliens, saying “It’s going to happen.” …”

We still have no idea how far this will go. The good news is that Dick Durbin has announced that the Gang of 6 bill is dead. The bad news is that Durbin and Graham are working on a replacement DACA deal with more than thirty senators. Graham says this is the biggest push ever for an immigration deal in the Senate. It is worth noting that the Gang of 6 bill had around 57 votes.

We should know more Monday:

“Press secretary Sarah Sanders told reporters in Wednesday’s briefing that the White House will release an immigration deal bill framework on Monday.

“Last fall the White House sent Congress a list of the core reforms necessary to fix our immigration system,” said Sanders. The list was compiled in considering talks on the issue with frontline law enforcement officers and career public servants. …”

Basically, we are still where we were at before the government shutdown. As things stand today, I wouldn’t be surprised if some kind of bill passed the Senate only to die in the House like the Gang of 8 bill. This seems like nothing more than a huge waste of time in an election year.

  1. Ever wonder why they won’t stop arriving? Because news such as this encourages them. Theres no deterrent.
    In Australia its called the pull factor, where they
    know they can arrive, be fed, housed, given welfare and enjoy a life better than what they fled-and likely remain permanently. If you were them, wouldn’t you do the same? The onus is on government to remove the pull factor. The nations they flee are dirty, poor, third world shitholes riddled with crime and disease-that is
    the ‘push factor’.
    Despite all this, is it really ‘nasty’ whiteys job to improve the wellbeing of the entire world at a massive cost to ourselves? No it isn’t. Having to constantly carry these people and accept the burden year after year isn’t fair.
    Yes, the blacks and browns in their own nations are hungry and impoverished. Yes they’re putting up with political and civil strife. What are THEY doing about it???
    One day, if this keeps up, they’ll be no white nations left to flee to-we’ll be ‘enriched out of existence.

  3. If we lose the immigration debate, and we might, we need to immediately work with the Immigrants to get rid of the Jews. Get them the hell out of our country and make sure they can never come back. We need to get rid of them by any means possible. We know who did this to us and we should do all in our power to get revenge no matter how long it takes.

  4. If Trump folds on illegal immigration that will be the last straw. What’s the point of all kinds of “security” when you keep letting them in anyway? We’ve heard it all before. Talking about security after you’ve sold out your base is a poorly disguised con.

    • You need a vastly expanded security state the more you have diversity. It’s not like it even compensates for the opportunity cost of more niggers and more Muslims. It’s the literal cost.

  6. Who needs the Wall when tens of millions are already here and staying, probably most of them getting amnesty and citizenship? The damage is already done and permanent and decisive. Trump’s upcoming “nuclear” betrayal makes Bush the First’s “read my lips” look like nothing.

  7. I’ll believe Trump is a complete traitor when it actually happen, and not until then.

    Christianity teaches equality, and, unfortunately, Trump may actually be a Christian in his beliefs. I hope not, but maybe he is.

    If Trump is really Christian in his beliefs, then betrayal of us by Trump is much more likely, IMO.

  8. This might not be as bad as it sounds. Worse than illegal immigration is our high rate of legal immigration at about 1.3 million a year. This high level is largely driven by family chain migration, immigrants who bring in relatives who bring in their relatives and on and on.

    The Democrats are never going to give up on chain migration without some concessions on our part. Amnesty for the DACA illegals might persuade them to agree. This seems to be what Trump is holding out for. In terms of reducing overall numbers it would not be a bad deal for us.
