Facebook Pulls President Trump’s ‘Racist’ Campaign Ad

I’ve already shared my opinion on this dog whistling ad.

This illegal alien cop killer reentered the United States when George W. Bush was president. Both parties are to blame for tolerating illegal immigration. The ad was kind of misleading, but no more so than virtually all the other campaign ads that are airing on television right now:

“Washington DC (CNN)Facebook has stopped the Trump campaign from running its racist anti-immigration commercial as an ad on the site.

“This ad violates Facebook’s advertising policy against sensational content so we are rejecting it. While the video is allowed to be posted on Facebook, it cannot receive paid distribution,” Facebook said in a statement Monday afternoon.

The move came shortly after NBC and Fox News said they would stop airing the ad across their networks. CNN had previously determined that the ad is racist and declined to sell airtime for it.

The Trump campaign began running the ad on Facebook on Sunday, targeting voters in Florida and Arizona. By Monday morning, it had reached millions of users on the platform.

A Facebook spokesperson said the ad had been allowed to run in error. …”

Fortunately, Big Brother in Silicon Valley is here to make these calls and intervene in the election. Unlike all the other campaign ads this cycle, this particular ad is a “sensational” one. Facebook should be allowed to do this because … [insert highly abstract, convoluted True Cons ideological bullshit].

Trump is trying to have it both ways on Big Tech censorship. He wants to “take a look” at busting up these monopolies with antitrust. On the other hand, he praises these “great companies” and says “I want them to do well.” The issue hasn’t gone anywhere since he promised social media censorship wouldn’t be tolerated in August. The rumored executive order never materialized.

  1. I would love to hear what makes cops so much more human than anyone else that their killers deserve special designation „cop killer“.
