Southern History Series: Rep. John Rankin Calls Out The International Communist Conspiracy Behind World War II

In Southern History Month 2019: The Time John Rankin Gave M. Michael Edelstein a Heart Attack, we took a glance back at the life of Rep. John Rankin of Mississippi who so disturbed Rep. Michael Edelstein of New York by drawing attention to the fact that his co-ethnics were organizing to plunge America into the Second World War that he had a heart attack and dropped dead on the floor of Congress in 1941.

Rankin rose to give his speech:

“Mr. Speaker–Wall Street and a little group of our international Jewish brethren are still attempting to harass the President of the United States into plunging us into the European war, and at the same time Communistic elements throughout the country are fomenting strikes, harassing industry and blowing down the defense program. …”

He was elected to 16 terms in Congress from Mississippi:

“They whine about discrimination. Do you know who is being discriminated against? The white Christian people of America, the ones who created this nation… I am talking about the white Christian people of the North as well as the South… Communism is racial. A racial minority seized control in Russia and in all her satellite countries, such as Poland, Czechoslovakia, and many other countries I could name. They have been run out of practically every country in Europe in the years gone by, and if they keep stirring race trouble in this country and trying to force their communistic program on the Christian people of America, there is no telling what will happen to them here.(Cong. Rec., April 23, 1952, p. 4320).”

At some point, I will find a way to dig into the Congressional Record and explore Rep. John Rankin’s position on the Jewish Question in greater detail. I find it fascinating in light of the fact that Israel has now established total control over U.S. foreign policy and Bibi Netanyahu is attempting to foment another hugely destructive war between the United States and Iran.

Do you know what I think about Bilbo and Rankin? I think Bilbo was vindicated by history on interracial rape. I also think Rankin was vindicated by history on Jewish influence over our foreign policy. We’re also going to look back on Martin Luther King, Jr. one day as a lecherous sexual degenerate who was sold to the public by the corrupt mainstream media who deliberately covered up his escapades and the fact that he was a black mouthpiece of the communist Stanley Levison.

  6. 1945 Jewish Telegraph Agency article at https://www.jta.org/1945/10/25/archive/rankin-slur-on-jews-brings-demand-for-end-of-jew-baiting-in-house is headlined “Rankin Slur on Jews Brings Demand for End of ‘jew-baiting’ in House.” It includes the following:

    “The exchange between Celler and Rankin arose when the latter objected to suggestions by Celler and five other Congressmen that the House Committee on Un-American Activities probe nationalist and anti-Semitic groups. Rankin described Celler’s demands as the “most unmitigated procedure ever seen in Congress from the Jewish gentlemen from New York,” and after Celler objected asked whether he was protesting being called ‘Jewish’ or ‘gentleman.'”

    Yes, Celler = Emanuel Celler of the Hart-Celler Act (1965 Immigration Act).

    “In 1938 the House of Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC) was established. Rankin was appointed as a member of the HUAC. It originally investigated both left-wing and right wing political groups. Some called for the leaders of the Ku Klux Klan to be interrogated by the HUAC. Martin Dies, the chairman of the HUAC, however was a supporter of the Klan and had spoken at several of its rallies. Other members of the HUAC such as Rankin and John S. Wood were also Klan sympathizers. Wood defended the Klan by arguing that: ‘The threats and intimidations of the Klan are an old American custom, like illegal whisky-making.’ Eventually Ernest Adamson, the HUAC’s chief counsel, announced that: ‘The committee has decided that it lacks sufficient data on which to base a probe.’ Rankin added: ‘After all, the KKK is an old American institution.’ Instead, the HUAC concentrated on investigating the possibility that the American Communist Party had infiltrated New Deal projects.”

    “On 20th October, 1947, the House of Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC) opened its hearings concerning communist infiltration of the motion picture industry. John Rankin declared he had information that ‘one of the most dangerous plots ever instigated for the overthrow of this government has its headquarters in Hollywood… The information we get is that this is the greatest hot bed of subversive activities in the United States. We’re on the trail of the tarantula now, and we’re going to follow through. The best people in California are helping us.'”
