Donald Trump Addresses Young Black Leadership Summit 2019

This isn’t the first time that President Donald Trump has addressed Turning Point USA’s Young Black Leadership Summit. I remember him doing it last year:

Here is President Donald Trump addressing this year’s summit this afternoon:

What is being conserved here?

Donald Trump is conserving identity politics, multiculturalism and political correctness. A black leadership conference is legitimate. A white leadership conference is illegitimate. The only form of identity politics that is illegitimate is White identity politics. As I told Christopher Cantwell, mainstream conservatism exists to absorb the Left’s social revolutions. This is a beast that only swims Left and stays immediately behind the Left and never retards it.

  1. Republicans are objectively worse on immigration. All data backs this up. Worse on guns, worse on police state crackdowns of dissidents, worse on handouts to plutocrats. I can’t think of a single issue on which Republicans are better than Democrats. They just employ rhetoric that sounds more appealing, and rubes buy it.

  2. The Left are busy divesting themselves of their favourite political weapons.

Amerindians and Asiatics are becoming their new, smarter weapons.

  3. lol i can’t help but to love this. I hope more & more black conservative grifters come forward so we end up with a more median intelligence blacks demanding liberty bucks from tpusa.

Showing up with shirts that says “this black conservative loves white women.”

  4. Blormp’s antics are no longer of any interest to me. I am now devoting myself exclusively to promoting Helter Skelter.

Yep. Dabney’s full quotation is always apropos and relevant in such musings. Many many mainstream “conservatives” would do well to humble themselves and study (study, not merely read) Dabney. But they’re generally too stupid to understand they are a big part of the problem, not part of the solution. This reminds me of that essay written by the Berkeley professor years ago titled “The Basic Laws of Human Stupidity.” The first law is something to the effect that intelligent men always and invariably greatly underestimate the proportion of stupid people living amongst themselves. There are different kinds of human stupidity which the author identifies, but they all combine to result in the same end. The conclusion drawn in the essay is that well-functioning societies will only remain well-functioning so long as they deny stupid people of the several varieties political power and “rights.” But anyway, here is Dabney’s full quote mentioned above:

It may be inferred again that the present movement for women’s rights will certainly prevail from the history of its only opponent, Northern conservatism. This is a party which never conserves anything. Its history has been that it demurs to each aggression of the progressive party, and aims to save its credit by a respectable amount of growling, but always acquiesces at last in the innovation.

What was the resisted novelty of yesterday is to-day one of the accepted principles of conservatism; it is now conservative only in affecting to resist the next innovation, which will to-morrow be forced upon its timidity, and will be succeeded by some third revolution, to be denounced and then adopted in its turn.

American conservatism is merely the shadow that follows Radicalism as it moves forward towards perdition. It remains behind it, but never retards it, and always advances near its leader. This pretended salt hath utterly lost its savor: wherewith shall it be salted? Its impotency is not hard, indeed, to explain. It is worthless because it is the conservatism of expediency only, and not of sturdy principle. It intends to risk nothing serious for the sake of the truth, and has no idea of being guilty of the folly of martyrdom. It always—when about to enter a protest—very blandly informs the wild beast whose path it essays to stop, that its “bark is worse than its bite,” and that it only means to save its manners by enacting its decent role of resistance. The only practical purpose which it now subserves in American politics is to give enough exercise to Radicalism to keep it “in wind,” and to prevent its becoming pursy and lazy from having nothing to whip.

No doubt, after a few years, when women’s suffrage shall have become an accomplished fact, conservatism will tacitly admit it into its creed, and thenceforward plume itself upon its wise firmness in opposing with similar weapons the extreme of baby suffrage; and when that too shall have been won, it will be heard declaring that the integrity of the American Constitution requires at least the refusal of suffrage to asses. There it will assume, with great dignity, its final position.

Dabney only made one error in that assessment of “American Conservatism” then and now. He wrongly assumed (humorously) that “conservatives” would take their final stand on the introduction of asses to the American electorate. Clearly the conservatism of expediency only cannot resist the impulse to get behind admission of asses as eligible voters, anymore than it could to advocate the baby vote.

  6. It’s almost like white Americans would benefit from having a European-style nationalist party here. Naw, better stay in the GOP or do nothing as we are replaced. Having our own party would make it look like we care, and that would be uncool.

  7. I will not vote for Trump again. He possibly freed my future killer from prison. He moved the embassy to Jerusalem and it is possible that it is there that they are planning to bring in my foreign potential future killer.
