Emmanuel Macron: Nationalism Is War

There is one slight problem with the argument that Emmanuel Macron made today about nationalism at the Paris Peace Forum. In the 21st century, it is liberal globalists like Emmanuel Macron and Hillary Clinton who are the warmongers, not the nationalists.

No one is more opposed to these wars in places like Iraq or Syria than contemporary nationalists. Nationalism is not the same thing as fascism and we live in a different time. We’re not the ones who are engaged in an international conflict with Russia, Iran and China. We’re not the ones who see Ukraine or Taiwan or these other flashpoints as our problem.

Business Insider:

“French President Emmanuel Macron has slammed US President Donald Trump for unilaterally withdrawing from Syria — a decision that has upended power structures in the Middle East — without even telling his NATO allies.

“You have no co-ordination whatsoever of strategic decision-making between the United States and its NATO allies. None,” Macron told The Economist in an article published Thursday, referring to Trump’s troop withdrawal from Syria last month.

Trump abruptly decided to pull out some 1,000 US troops out of Syria in early October after a phone call with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who said he was planning a military incursion into northeastern Syria. …”

DW:

“The world needs “new ways of cooperation, new alliances,” French President Emmanuel Macron said at the Paris Peace Forum on Tuesday.

“We are experiencing an unprecedented crisis in our international system,” Macron said.

The French leader lamented new inequalities between peoples and countries. These developments, according to Macron, prompted a rise of nationalism “even among those who are the last-resort guardians of this international system.” …

“We tried that option in the past: it leads to war,” Macron said. “Nationalism is war.”

His statements in Paris match the polemic tone of his recent interview to The Economist, when he lamented the “brain death” of NATO. …”

As we see it, this is the real problem:

BBC:

“When three explosions took place in one night across different parts of Stockholm last month, it came as a shock to residents. There had been blasts in other city suburbs, but never on their doorstep.

Swedish police are dealing with unprecedented levels of attacks, targeting city centre locations too. The bomb squad was called to deal with 97 explosions in the first nine months of this year.

“I grew up here and you feel like that environment gets violated,” says Joel, 22.

The front door of his apartment block in the central Stockholm neighbourhood of Sodermalm was blown out and windows were shattered along the street.

Who is to blame?

Sweden has had a 100 bombings this year.

Who is to blame for that? I don’t blame Russia, Iran or China. I don’t blame nationalists for throwing open our borders. No, it is liberal politicians like Emmanuel Macron who are to blame. They are to blame for mass immigration, multiculturalism and political correctness which has brought this plague into our countries and imperiled the future of the West.

Nationalists want to retake and revitalize our countries and move forward into the 21st century. We don’t want to revisit the horrors of World War I and World War II.

  1. The alternative is totalitarian global communism and you’ll be a rootless identity-less interchangeable borg for the global imperial Monarchy

  2. World War II:

Jewish internationalism tries to take over and destroy Europe.

    European nationalists fight back.

Nationalists get the blame for being warmongers because they didn’t just lie down and die.

  3. Yes.
Nationalism means WAR, against people like you, Pepe Le Pew……. War against you and those that are backing you.

Like the Yellow Vests correctly pointed out … Emmanuel Macron is, appartenant à des juifs!

hooray and Up She Rises early in the morning

  4. In the Army they call it ” invisible factor” and this means deeper nature and psyche of the enemy or our army or whatever group.

Why Napoleon and all his Generals could not understand that taking capitol is absolutely irrelevant in the noneuropean military mind and waited more that month in Moscow for Russian surrender ?

Why Hitler and his Generals could not understand that they do not have even theoretical chance to win industrial war ? US, Soviet and British Empire industrial might was far above German capabilities and the only chance to win is destroy the only thing what the enemy can not produce in the factory. It was infantry. So instead of Tiger tanks,, rockets, jet fighters, submarines and other expensive and useless crap they must produce anti infantry weapons to bleed out the attacking Soviet infantry.

The “invisible factor” asking questions like, “why they do this”, “why the don´t do that”, “how they can´t understand” and other important questions , what may cause enemy destruction and avoid our army self destruction.

So why Russians and Eastern Europeans managed to put nationalists to office but Western Europeans can not ? Easiest way to get rid from Macron is vote him out but in polls Marine Le Pen is still 20% and behind of Macron.

  5. Even if these horrible globalists are right, we have traded wars between nations for wars between neighbors. Instead of soldiers fighting and dying, it is all of us.
