Even though he is a Nordic pagan, I usually agree with Bjorn’s content.
We’re both ruralites and introverts. I also enjoy being alone with my thoughts in the wilderness. I also strongly agree with his advice of only living in a place where you can piss.
I like to travel to isolated mountainous areas but I don’t like flat farmland. I sort of like to bounce back between the city and the hills.
Tom Metzger is right, most of our so-called friends are really acquaintances. A real friend, says he, is someone who will take a bullet for you.
Hey, if I ever get lonesome here at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino there’s always lots of hookers.
Spahn,
That should trigger the ‘holy rollers.’ But didn’t Jesus supposed hangout with prostitutes?
I get the feeling Spahn would be less concerned about than the ladies’ souls than Christ. And Jesus just would’ve wanted to talk to them. I don’t think Spahn is interested in conversation. He’s probably more about physically expressing himself with them, I would guess. That could mean he wants to do a mime workshop with the ladies, but somehow I don’t think that’s quite right.
They closed down, Hard Rock Hotel moved to the strip. It was near UNLV, Harmon and Flamingo.
Being alone is fine. Being lonely is a living death.
Ephesians 5
19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
These things are interupted by the din of mans world, going out to the wilderness and solitude to be alone with your thoughts and holy spirit is essential to an understanding of Logos.
Matthew 6:6
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Let your closet be the glory of Gods Creation!
And to the guy poking “holy rollers” “It is the sick who need a physician, so I don’t seek the righteous but the sinners” (Mark 2:17).
Being alone and being lonely are not the same thing.
First read this when I was 17 and beginning to separate from my parents psychologically and if your someone who is a deep thinker and feels alone around crowds, this book is for you!
