Poll: Joe Biden Gets High Marks On COVID, Trails On Other Issues

Joe is being propped up by COVID.

As I suspected, COVID is rapidly fading as an issue though for most voters. Even Democrats are moving on from COVID and becoming increasingly critical of Fauci as the vaccine rolls out. It is clear that pressure is mounting to say that we are done with this and for life to return to normal.

FOX News:

“As Joe Biden closes in on the 100-day mark of his presidency, a Fox News poll finds a 54 percent majority of voters approves of his job performance. That’s lower than Barack Obama’s 62 percent and George W. Bush’s 63 percent approval at their respective 100-day points, but higher than the 45 percent Donald Trump received four years ago.

There is an 81-point gap on approval of President Biden between Democrats (95 percent) and Republicans (14 percent). That’s even a bit wider than the 76-point partisan gap for former President Trump in April 2017.  …

Biden’s job approval ratings are below 50 percent on every top issue, with one exception: 58 percent approve on coronavirus (34 percent disapprove). His ratings are lower, but still net positive on health care (48 percent approve – 37 percent disapprove), the economy (48-42), and foreign policy (42-41). More disapprove than approve on guns (36-49), border security (35-51), and immigration (34-52).

Among Hispanics, a group whose 2020 election support for Biden lagged expectations, his 72 percent approval overall drops to 54 percent for his handling of immigration and 44 percent for border security.

Both Democrats and Republicans express high levels of concern (at least 60 percent extremely or very concerned) about the economy, gun laws, health care, and infrastructure. Beyond those issues, strong partisan differences emerge. The top three worries among Democrats are climate change, racism, and health care.  For Republicans, it’s illegal immigration, the economy, and voter fraud. Voter fraud comes in last for Democrats, while climate change is the lowest concern for Republicans.  …”

Every poll now shows that immigration and border security are by far the biggest weakness of the Biden administration. Joe Biden is even underwater with Hispanics on border security now.

  1. I’m yet to encounter anyone who voted for Biden, or Biden-Harris. Seriously. Maybe, if I ask a enough Puerto Ricans or an Irish Roman Catholics. Even the Italians claim they didn’t vote for him. LOL.

    • “I’m yet to encounter anyone who voted for Biden, or Biden-Harris.”

If your personal experiences and anecdotes were facts, an evangelical Southern segregationist would be President now. Goes to show how detached from today’s reality you are. LOL

Always support consumer choice and chains, not protectionism and local businesses which lead to higher prices and inferior domestic products.

    • @Krafty…

As you know, I live in The Rural South, Northeastern North Carolina to be exact, and I know tons and tons of people who voted for Biden.

    • @John…

It also shows how successful the 3rd coup attempt against President Trump, this time at the polls, was.

      • I hope the public at large comes to realize blacks didn’t start the whole George Floyd thing. The media NGO deep state complex had a Soros Color Coded Revolution planned well in advance. The media had already decided we were going to have a summer of riots and was just looking for the next Ferguson incident to start it. They tried with the guy stealing copper piped from construction sites that they flat out lied was “jogging.” They even had a ’68 Chicago Riots movie in production in mid 2019 that they trotted out in mid 2020 to egg on a repeat of the 60s. What’s left of normal America is already pissed at the chaos of the summer, they need to take the step and realize it wasn’t spontaneous but an incredibly treacherous “color coded revolution” run here at home. That’s how evil and despicable these people are.

  2. Surprised how so many hispanics are upset about the border crisis. Joe basically canceled the border. Could it be that most Mexicans here look down on 4 foot tall Central Americans and see them as the lowest class of all that Latin America has to offer.

  3. “54% of Americans approve of Joe Biden’s job performance”

That’s an F in any other grading system.

Anyway, Joe is a failure when it comes to Covid. I don’t care what the population thinks in this sense. It’s obvious Trump botched it and Biden had to salvage what Trump did, but he wouldn’t have faired any better. The guy is a moron.
