Now that blacks have Juneteenth (their own independence day) and “Lift Every Voice and Sing” (their own national anthem), why should they care about July the 4th or the Star Spangled Banner?
Note: The fact that black nationalism is being accommodated by both parties illustrates that integration has been a total failure.
