It is not like the GOP did anything.
The Democrats, so to speak, pulled the pin on the grenade. They will reap the whirlwind of Wokeism in public schools, corporations and popular culture, censorship, open borders, crime, Merrick Garland’s assault on civil liberties, their destruction of historic monuments, inflation, high gas prices, vaccine mandates, anger over Trump’s claims the election was rigged against him, angst over American decline and so on. They will also deserve to lose their majority in Congress for a buffet of reasons.
Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy will undoubtedly reap the benefits of another round of backlash politics in the 2022 midterms. It will be another red wave election like the Tea Party in the 2010 midterms. The GOP will return to power, block Joe Biden’s agenda and spend the next two years engaged in grandstanding until the 2024 election. Blumpf will announce he is running for president after the 2022 midterms. He will easily win the 2024 GOP nomination and likely the presidency.
I anticipate there will be two big differences from the Obama years:
First, the Democrats are already ready to dump Joe Biden who will be even more senile in 2024. Unlike Barack Obama, no one really loves Joe Biden in the Democratic Party. He would lose to a generic Republican in 2024. The betting markets are favoring Blumpf to win in a rematch. Assuming Joe Biden chooses not to run in 2024, he would fare even better against Kamala Harris or Pete Buttigieg.
Second, it seems likely that Blumpf would return to power in 2024 with a large and cowed Republican majority in Congress, which he didn’t have in his first term. He would return to power with more experienced personnel. He will also have undoubtedly purged all of his enemies in Congress like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger. He will benefit from all the changes in election laws in the swing states. He will also have every incentive to clean house in the Pentagon and “intelligence community.”
I can anticipate a Blumpf restoration in 2024 only this time with much more power and experience due to the fact that he didn’t have a Trumpist Congress in his first term. After spending four years in exile at Mar-a-Lago like Napoleon stewing over how unfairly he was treated, Your Favorite President will be obsessed with settling scores. There will be an orgy of lib owning. Perhaps they will want to secede from the Union.
In retrospect, Trump’s defeat in 2020 might end up being the best thing that ever happened to him. Joe Biden was elected, but his agenda was hamstrung by Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema. The divide within the Democratic Party over this is only becoming more bitter. He could end up returning to power in 2024 with a much larger congressional majority and a much more radicalized electorate than he would have had if it hadn’t been for COVID and he had been reelected with Jared Kushner’s strategy.
The whole repub vs dem game is a scam. Mcconell is a proven liar and political snake. We won’t win through politics. It’s pathetic that all one can hope for now is more cuckservative, john mccain-tier republicans get into office rather than democrats. If they succeeded, then their voters would become complacent and not support their campaigns. When the Republicans fail to make promised changes, they increase the power of the Democratic established church to destroy the disestablished churches. This destruction causes the outrage of the disestablished churches which leads them to the support the Republicans in elections. This cycle best characterizes the conservative movement ever drifting leftward. This leftward moving left-right dialectic preserves the conditions for Republican officials to profit off of the increasingly desperate disestablished churches. Republican officials achieve their financial aims when they fail to change anything. They have developed an ideology, constitutional originalism, that ties both hands behind their back to justify their repeated failures. They win when they fail to achieve their stated agenda and lose when they succeed in their stated agenda.

You might find this of interest. In early 1941 my great grandmother wrote to the German authorities to check on some of her relatives. Well evidently the USA government was even then checking the mail. Some authorities came by and said not to do it again or she would be deported. She replied she was an American citizen but they still said do not do it again. So she wrote letters to Germany by sending them in a packet addressed to Mexico to relatives where they were sent to Germany with no problems.
This was obviously before the American involvement in the war.

It is my suspicion that recognition of the sovereignty of Vatican City was made by the first by UK in 1982 and USA for opportunistic reasons. Their respective intelligence services (MI6 and CIA) knew that they could use Polish born John Paul II to stir up smoldering Catholic resentment within predominantly Catholic nations inside the Soviet Union.
Remember that in 1982 and 1984 the so-called “Cold War” was ratcheting up in a nuclear arms race and proxy wars.

There was nothing inherently wrong with the economy, which was quite strong into the 1980s. But a process of bureaucratic arteriosclerosis and loss of vision and moral confidence that began with the 1953 coup and Kruschev’s revisionism accelerated rapidly – and the economy really began to collapse – when the arch-traitor Gorbachev took control. It took only six years to sell out and destroy everything. Unlike the U.S. that doesn’t allow secession, the Union was designed to allow its various states (the republics) to secede at will, and most of them did. The collapse was so sudden and the triumph of the U.S. so complete that allied republics around the world such as Cuba, Nicaragua, Somalia, Korea, etc. also collapsed or barely hung on. Yes I agree the Vatican can take some credit for it.

To clarify further: Most (but not all) Spanish WNs are more religious and less concerned with racial purity than Nazis. Biological regeneration of a Spanish people is less important for most Falangists than Catholic religious regeneration of “Spanish” people and the revival of a worldwide Spanish empire.
Regarding the Vatican, I don’t think being deep in Italian territory would have protected it if the U.S. wanted to attack. Clarification of my comment that I could never be a WN even if I was anglo just meant that it is one thing to preserve a society with it’s racial heritage and quite a different matter to create one out of the United Nations that is called the United States.
As for Southern Nationalism? It is primarily an Anglo Protestant affair which is understandable since it is the South. It’s goals are not my goals but SN goals do not conflict with the well being of my Family. Texas is the key.
If the Democrats were smart they would put all the new illegals/legals in Texas and make them citizens fast–in time for the 2024 Election.

There is little to no doubt that democratic powers that be will use illegal immigrants and third world refugees to flip ‘light red’ republican states before 2024. It wouldn’t be a shock, if they attempt fast track them to some pseudo-citizenship prior to the 2022 midterms. The truth is that the Democrats do not even need to do that. All they need to do is to control the voting machines and count the mail-in ballots.

Pointing out the existence of confused papists who don’t know what their church teaches and falsely believe they can be nationalists says nothing about what the church itself actually teaches. Papist laity believe a lot of things that are opposed to what their church teaches, including nationalism. It only shows that they are bad papists who disobey their church, not that papism can be good.
