“New York (CNN)New York City on Thursday became the largest municipality in the US to allow noncitizens to vote in local elections.
In a vote of 33 to 14, the Democrat-controlled city council passed the measure known as “Our City, Our Vote.”
Under the legislation, noncitizens who have lived in the city for at least 30 days and are legal permanent residents in the US — including green card holders, individuals with workers permits and DACA holders — will be allowed to vote in city elections, including mayor, public advocate, borough president and city council.
Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez, the prime sponsor of the legislation and an immigrant from the Dominican Republic, told CNN it’s about championing the issue of “no taxation without representation.”
You’re also a “racist” to assume these people are already voting in federal elections in these big cities. Nothing like that ever happens.
Democracy is finished. By design.
But after all, the U.S. is a GLOBAL empire. The world is its citizens, and slaves.
There are no good choices in its (s)elections anyway. In voting, the population merely gives its explicit consent to what will happen anyway. The workers get to blow off steam by “voting out” and they get to choose style and flavor.
Our nation wasn’t founded on being “a nation of immigrants”. It wasn’t founded on being “a melting pot”. This all came later on, and they used the European migration to the US in the early 20th century as a way to bring in nonwhites into the US. The Europeans came to work and better this place. It was a trickle compared to the millions of parasitic nonwhites flooding the US.
“Melting Pot” is more like a cesspool. The Europeans didn’t bring crime, they brought skills and motivation.
The borders are down, so more and more can just come here and live off of us, and all during a “pandemic”, where our jobs are threatened. Mexicans and Central Americans can walk right in here, get housing, food, medical care, utilities, and more, and never get tested or pushed to get the vaccine. They are never checked for criminal activity, either.
Why are so many Americans okay with this?
The reason behind giving the illegal aliens the vote in NYC is to nullify all the upstate votes that will be overwhelmingly Republican. If NYC followed the law and only citizens in good standing (no felons) were allowed to vote NY State would go Republican.
The best thing to do would be to split NY State into two geographic and political entities, NYC and NY State. NYC and surrounding areas out to about 35 miles would be a new political entity known as NYC which would be reliably Democrat. The rest of NY State would be reliably Republican. NYC would of course fail if such a political arrangement were to come about.
That’s old news. NYC like most of the US give these invaders voting right and have been for a while.
I wonder if this privilege extends to white Australians or Europeans who are in New York at the time?
Anyhow, it really doesn’t matter. Has it worked out any better for you in the past with just eligible Americans voting? They’re just further damaging what was already long broken. As always, only the Republicrats are ever going to win. Nothing has really changed.
