  1. Putin is holding a ‘trump’ card that he has yet to play. He can declare force majeure and abrogate current oil contracts, sending world economies into a tailspin.

    He could cut just 2 million bbl of Russia’s 11 million bbl/day output and send shockwaves through the global economy. No oil producers could compensate for that loss.

    Biden is out of his depth. Putin is a master chess player, Biden doesn’t even know what chess is.

  7. Trump stated that Putin would not be moving into any part of the Ukraine or the break-away republics. It’s reasonable to say that he was only committing on Putin’s intelligence, not on whether he supported Putin entering the break-away republics or any potential entry into the remaining part of the Ukraine. Putin is acting in the best interest of Russians and appears to be doing it well. The twitter critics are equating Trumps compliments of Putin’s intelligence with supporting the latter’s actions. Fundamentally, those people don’t respect anyone who disagrees with them.

  8. I’ve been listening to some audiobooks of John Buchan. His most famous novel was the “39 Steps” a thriller written before WWI and made into a movie by Alfred Hitchcock in the 1930’s.

    In his books Buchan puts numerous critical comments about Jews and non-Whites in his novels. The critical comments sound modern, and could have been written recently.

    • Putin is no more a “Christian” than BIll Clinton was, he just knows it’s not smart to promote mass secularism to the public because people need higher things to aspire to in their lives. It’s one thing for smart people to doubt, but quite another to go around like Richard Dawkins saying “everyone should be an atheist!” This is an absolute disaster for the common 99 IQ citizen, they go from functional lives to bastard children and substance abuse as their lives become meaningless. What works philosophically for the few thinking about things like quarks and the big bang is not good for your ordinary 9/5 commuter.

Fact is Soros and the Obama State Department put in a puppet government in Ukraine in 2014 and Kiev was being run by the DNC.
