  1. “Goulash” has that reputation of being 3rd try left overs. There will be “issues” of overcooked vegetables.

Well, I wanted to make some beef chuck but was looking for some flavor other than the mundane pot roast I was already overly familiar with so I searched recipes and found something called Mississippi Pot Roast. Simmer the chuck for 5 hours with a jar of pepperoni, a can of french onion soup, and a Ranch seasoning packet (the dry powder.) It turned out surprisingly good.
