Republicans Retain House of Representatives

In 2025, Donald Trump will be president, Republicans will have 53 Senate seats and likely a majority of 221 seats in the House. There will be a 6-3 Republican majority on the Supreme Court.

As I repeatedly pointed out for months on X, what Trump is capable of doing in his second term greatly depends on 1.) the attitude and determination of his opposition, 2.) the margins in the Senate and 3.) whether Republicans controlled the House and if so by how much.

The good news is that 53 Senate seats means Trump can afford to lose Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski and that his dominant win means he will face far less opposition within his own party. They will be able to confirm a lot of judges and use budget reconciliation to pass bills. A 60 vote filibuster proof Senate majority was never in the cards, but the demise of Jon Tester, Sherrod Brown and Bob Casey will definitely increase pressure on vulnerable Senate Democrats to compromise on immigration.

  1. A little reality amongst all this hopium. Widely reported, Trump has chosen…Marco Rubio, the homosexual Senator, for Secretary of State; the New York Congresscritter Neocon Stefanik for U.N. Ambassador; open borders fanatic and full time employee of the Treason Lobby Kristi Noem as Director of Homeland Security; this Waltz Neocon as National Security Advisor; and best of all (((Scott Bessent))) as Treasury Secretary, with all the best credentials, Yale, Skull and Bones, Council on Foreign Relations, etc. The very best of all, direct from Wikipedia, “Bessent and his husband…have no children.”

Meanwhile the Democrats just stole two Senate seats, Arizona and Nevada, and no one even cares.

All this is winning. BOOM. We have owned the activists! Me, I stayed home, mourning Peanut the Squirrel, and voted not at all. I did not vote for that Chabad Lubavitcher Jew, or against him.

  2. Remember guys that Brad thinks that supporting Trump is winning for our people and our interests. When things all come crashing down he will move onto the next popular fad in the dissident right.

  3. These scumbags better do something worthwhile with the power they now have. More likely is that they won’t, and the pendulum of American clownshow politics will swing back the other way in the next pointless election.
