The “12 Day War” is over for now because Israel needed to be resupplied with missile interceptors. The ones we have already spent defending Israel from Iranian missiles cost half a billion dollars. Israel passed a law during the conflict which criminalized posting war damage to social media. The current peacefire is like the one in Gaza where Israel resumed the war after Trump transferred weapons to Netanyahu.

So, let us review where things stand today:
- The president of the United States has used the U.S. military to attack a foreign country on behalf of Israel. This is also the second time it has happened. The first time was when Trump assassinated General Soleimani for Israel in his first term
- Bibi Netanyahu has been shopping this war to American presidents since at least the Obama administration. He made the decision to go to war last year with or without Trump
- Bibi Netanyahu correctly calculated that he could maneuver Trump into the war
- The negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program were nothing more than a ruse by the Trump administration to lull Iran into a false sense of complacency and a psyop against Trump’s own supporters who wanted to believe he was serious about engaging in diplomacy
- The strike on Iran was sold to the public based on an avalanche of lies about an impending second Holocaust, hysteria about Iranian sleeper cells, a “mushroom cloud” over New York City, etc.
- The Ayatollah is claiming that Iran’s nuclear facilities are intact
- The war has been paused for now because Iranian strikes depleted Israel’s air defenses

We have learned from this experience that in the span of a week we can get dragged into a war with Iran by Israel based on the same lies that FOX News used to get us into the Iraq War. Israel could also resume this war at anytime it chooses and Bibi Netanyahu has been boosted and empowered by it. Israel has learned that it pays to always escalate conflicts with its enemies and the MAGA base has been conditioned to shout down anyone who is skeptical of Trump’s foreign policy decisions as a “Panican.”

All of the effort currently being put into making it crystal clear to America that the nuclear program of Iran has obliterated, thus the false pretext of Israels preemptive assault addressed, sounds more to me like calling Israels bluff while giving both Iran and Israel an offramp.
Its been pretty clear since Trump started trying to end the war in Ukraine that NATO, and probably Centcom are not totally under his control (certainly not the CIA). Recall what was revealed about the ukraine war being run by NATO generals in Europe, not the least of whom was Mark Milley himself, they are still running it…. Consider also that during this conflict we saw the same type of operation used against Iran that was used against Russia earlier in the year to blow up Trumps peace talks there too, and ukrainian intelligence was in Iran with Mossad helping them.
The more reasonable explanation for what has just happened is halfway between the completely ungracious interpretation of Trumps actions as a totally controlled zionist shill, and the portrayal that guys like John Mearshiemer and Andrew Napolitano try to present that he’s a totally hapless moron with no idea what he’s doing (equally ungracious).
Both of these explanations leave far too many holes in explaining what has happened over the last ten years, and lean heavily on the same one dimensional and lazy thought process. The Dave Smith/Candace owens crowd are content to blame the jews for everything. Well, for the first time Israel just got its nose seriously bloodied, and America had to save their butts, and the entire world saw it. If this was their masterplan…. damn did they ever screw up. Iran was supposed to be this huge military power in the middle East. They turned out to be a total paper tiger. They are totally humiliated also.
The Doug McGregor/Clayton Morris/Tucker Carlson Types blame everything on the Neocons. And I think that is far closer to the truth. That truth is that currently the President is not in full control of our government or imperial apparatus in NATO/EU.
That checks out and is exactly what I’d expect 6 months into what is effectively a counter revolution against the machine of the empire that has been trying to smash him for 10 years now. That apparatus clearly has larger and different ambitions than the elected president. Had greater ambition than even Joe Biden had, and that explains why even his administration only escalated gradually and reluctantly our funding of the Ukraine catastrophe.
Your explanation is one dimensional. Far too clean and simple, and reality just doesn’t work out that way. Its a worldview designed to be summarized in a blog post, no offense intended, but it is reductive in the extreme.
There is way way more going on here than just the jews and Israel. This is global total war between great powers. Israel/Jews just isn’t important enough, wealthy enough, or meaningful enough to explain whats happening. Especially in a time where increasingly few people are even supportive of them, even among Jews themselves, everyone is tired of Israel and sees what they are doing.
There is no wizard behind the curtain pulling all the levers. The complexity of the conspiracy to accomplish what you are claiming is orders of magnitude more complicated than the more likely conspiracy that we already know exists. The Empire is coming apart, and factions within it are warring for control. Within those factions are various subfactions with disparate interests of their own, all vying for position and influence. Outside that are various hostile entities hellbent on their own interests at our expense.
I am big enough to admit that I am too small to understand everything that is happening. But I can see clearly that its way more complicated than this.
Take a step back and look at the bigger picture. If we are actually going to avoid a third world war, it can’t be done by throwing all our treasure into mindless iron age squabbles for middle eastern religious doomsday cults like Islam, Evangelical Christianity or Islam.
I guarantee you if you tried to thread a camel through the eye of a needle it would be messy. I have every expectation of the same for this administration. Its gonna be messy. And hard fought.
Bottom line yeah, Israel tried to rope us into another war. They just clearly failed, meanwhile Trump no longer has to botger with Iran nuclear talks that were going nowhere. NATO is increasing its funding from European countries so they aren’t permanent freeloaders and actually out skin in the game. And nobody is in a hurry to talk about Ukraine anymore so the news cycle can now move back to the domestic agenda where it belongs. A week and a half is all it took. That itself is amazing. The middle east just changed shape in 10 days, after we spent 30 years there accomplishing nothing at all.
Far too many black pills. I for one will trust the plan a while longer. What choice do I have besides making an ass of myself everytime the hayride hits a bump? Nah.

Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Steve Bannon, Theo Von, Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Walsh, Nick Fuentes, all the White Nationalists (other than American Renaissance), and a host of other influential right wing personalities and media outlets, have all burned their bridges. They are all explicitly and unequivocally on record against regime change war in Iran.
We have a number of antiwar people within the Trump administration and Trump family who have to publicly agree with Trump, but who are doubtless privately lobbying against war – JD Vance, Tulsi Gabbard, Pete Hegseth, Donald Trump Jr., Tiffany Trump’s father-in-law etc.
We are in a much stronger position than we were in the run up to any previous regime change war:
2003 Iraq
2011 Libya
2012-2024 Syria
2014-present Ukraine
2015-2025 Yemen
If we can prevent this regime change war, it will be the first significant defeat for the Israel Lobby.

Bring home all the troops

I could not agree more. I also think it is Epstein-Mossad blackmail more than $$$ that motivated the Prez into the recent “war” with Iran. If Russia and China don’t pay the US back for arming Ukraine and Taiwan, by arming Iran, then they are cowards. I don’t support the strikes at all. Iran has been a week away from a nuclear weapon for 25 years according to Netanyahu but I still support Trump.
