I’ve got something here for both the Plan Trusters and Plan Skeptics.
The Plan Trusters can hang their hat on the fact that Trump has secured the border which is quieter than it has been in decades although this could potentially change because of that federal judge striking down Trump’s asylum policy. As I have previously noted, this has dried up the pool of easy to deport illegal aliens which padded Biden and Obama’s deportation numbers with returns at the border. It doesn’t mean Biden was better than Trump. It just means more people were coming across every day when he was president and those people are no longer arriving en masse like in Del Rio, TX.
The Plan Doubters can hang their hats on the fact that mass deportations still aren’t happening five months into Trump’s second term. The daily numbers are so pathetic that DHS stopped reporting them. Granted, it is much harder to deport illegals from the interior who have court hearings and interior deportations are up over the Biden administration, but this is still far from satisfactory.

In Latin America, some countries were startled to realize they were receiving fewer deportees from the United States, not more. The number arriving in Mexico, Guatemala and Colombia in the first five months of this year dropped more than 30 percent from the same period in 2024, according to data from their migration agencies. …”
What’s the cope?
The cope is that Trump signed the Big Beautiful Bill into law which will create a beefed up ICE which will be funded for four years and which in theory should lay the foundation for mass deportations. It will obviously take time to hire new ICE agents and build deportation camps. There won’t be any immediate change in daily deportations numbers, but those should start to rapidly accelerate.
The bottom line here is that there are no more excuses moving forward. The Trump administration has the political support from the public and the resources to do mass deportations. They can’t fallback anymore on the excuse that the administration is hamstrung by Biden era resources.
Kind of funny the Mexicans are getting fed up with immigration too. You gotta laugh.

In August 2015, when he was still behind several other candidates in the Republican primary polls, he adopted an immigration platform written by Jeff Sessions and Stephen Miller.
Senator Sessions was the first, and for a long time the only, elected official who endorsed Trump.
For a long time, this immigration platform was the only policy document on his campaign website.
Immigration restrictionists formed the hard core of his support as he climbed his way to the top of the Republican primary and then won a big upset against Hillary Clinton in the general election.
This looks something like a repeat of Ronald Reagan, little done and millions of amnesties.

It seems like the “right” playing woke politics to own the libs has a hand in this. The law must be absolute, if it’s only enforced when it’s suitable, THEN WHY DO WE HAVE TO PAY TAXES? I want to keep ALL of my money, I think taxation is theft and immoral, therefore I should stop paying. When the law comes for me then I should rightfully get judicial fiat to flout laws paying taxes. Of course that won’t happen because we live in a rigged, psychopathic, pathologically lying system of governance. As far as activist judges and their activist lawyers fighting tirelessly for guilty as sin lawbreakers go, they should be given an envelope when the get in their cars and when they open it, it says up.
Look, it isn’t going to happen. It took 5 years before the Border Patrol was able to stand up to its authorized limit. Additionally, while new funding for logistics of arresting, detaining, and transporting is made available and more importantly funding for local law enforcement, the numbers are minuscule. Basically, the GOPe and Demoncrats successfully outmaneuvered MAGA, kicked the can down the road, and went back to revisiting 1980’s Reagan Rich Boy Summer tax cuts. The writing is on the wall, the King is celebrating, but the enemy will be pouring thru the gates soon. Babylon will fall.
Currently, ICE has 20,000 agents. The new funding increases the strength by 50%. Whoopdy-do. Likewise for all the support. Even throw in the more important force multiplier of local law enforcement, the latter is dependent upon local cooperation. While the flood of Latino Papists and Asiatic Mongol hordes is hitting parts of the Midwest and certainly the South, the fact is most are concentrated in Blue State and Blue city areas. Those governments ain’t cooperating.
Aside from a few, most of the top tier Trump leadership is out of touch to the depth of the problem. There are over 100,000,000 foreign origin persons in the US whose families simply didn’t exist here during Ronald Reagan. This is a mass colonization occupation force. Once the Blue States start emptying out this number, much as Brooklyn went from a Native Protestant stronghold in the 1800s into an immigrant saturated mess in the 1900s after Manhatten emptied its Ellis Island filth, so will the South, Midwest, and Mountain States be swamped ans transformed in a blinking of an eye.
