On Return to the Land

Eric Orwoll’s Return to the Land project has been getting a lot of attention.

For those of you who haven’t heard about this, we are talking about an LLC that exists on 160 acres of private land in the Ozarks near Ravenden in northeast Arkansas. It has attracted about 40 idealistic people from around the country who are living there in tiny homes, tents and campers and who are relying on well water and growing their own food. The idea is to create a White intentional community that skirts fair housing laws and which can become a model for similar settlements in other states.

Jonesboro Sun:

“The wooded hills outside Ravenden in neighboring Lawrence County have become the focus of growing concern as reports confirm the development of a whites-only community known as Return to the Land, a project led by self-described identitarians Eric Orwoll and Peter Csere.

Operating under the name Wisdom Woods LLC, the group is building what it calls a “parallel society” on 160 acres of privately owned land in Sharp County. Public business filings show the organization’s address listed as 480 Browns Creek Road. The property currently includes tents, campers and portable buildings, with some residents living in small structures and relying on well water, outhouses and homegrown food.

Civil rights watchdogs, including the Anti-Defamation League, warn the group may be violating federal housing discrimination laws by restricting membership and residency based explicitly on race. The group’s published materials state that only white applicants of European descent may join, with Jewish and nonwhite individuals banned entirely. Applicants must submit to interviews and written ancestry verification before being accepted. …”

I’m skeptical of this idea.

I want to learn more though before forming a firm opinion.

  1. I read of this on Nordfront….. This is also the idea of Matt Parrott: create a white enclaves in order to create communities of white where preserve culture and not be persecuted by others.

  2. Addendum:

If they base this on race they are asking for legal problems, if they cloak this with some sort of religion, like Cosmotheism, they would be free of all the Marxist woke laws.

  3. I don t want to be a “ nay sayer “ as I think the head guy in this is very intelligent , handsome and has a family .

But , IMO this Ian t going anywhere – our people don t organize well on just being “ White “ – the head guy is being naive if he thinks the Libs , SpLC , state attorney Generals won t use “ law fare “ to take this down same ad was done to Vdare .

Plus, thus White community hash t really a program to provide jobs , a separate economy like in Orania , the Amish .

    Are these people farmers ?

IMO they should finesse race and make it a religious community – similar to Orthodox Jews .

  4. They should never talk to the press. They want to get their story out, attract new recruits, donations etc. but the absolute worst way to get publicity is to allow the Lügenpresse to step one inch on their property or to say one word to them. Now they are on the radar of The Usual Suspects who cannot afford to let any such organizations get started.

The Lügenpresse controls the editing process back in the studio. No matter how reasonable these people are, no matter what good points they make, no matter how friendly, they will still be portrayed as lunatics, horrible, full of hatred, crazy, dangerous etc. The (so-called) “Civil Rights” (sic) laws only apply to White people: full stop. Other racial groups can form “intentional communities” all they want, just not White people. That’s just the way it is, for now at least.

  5. “The wooded hills outside Ravenden in neighboring Lawrence County have become the focus of growing concern” b/c white people.

    That first line.
See, the problem with our current paradigm is that certain things have become so ingrained into the collective mindset that even the silliest of statements can sound ominous and foreboding. Think about it, if we Pavlov Dogg’ed enough people into thinking white kittens with black mitten feet are somehow dangerous, eventually every kitten born with black mitten feet would be killed. It’s how superstitions come to be. The delusion of thinking a community of exclusionary white people living separated from society is essentially superstitious thinking.

I mean think about it, almost any other “reason” for wanting to live separately from society can be defended by these people. People who want to separate to live off the grid b/c of climate change would get romanticized documentaries produced about them. If a community of blacks wanted to live exclusively away from whites because of “systemic discrimination”, they’d be promoting the leader of the community for president. None of these circumstances can invite criticism or concern, because to our betters these are heroic efforts.

I think If you could get enough people living in Plato’s Cave to step back and really think about the absurdity of such thinking, we might stand a chance of changing things. That’s the problem.

  6. Many mistakes.

    1. Announcing it
    2. LLC’s
    3. Talking to any press, especially ENEMY press
    4. Seeking to LEAD some type of MOVEMENT

If you want to do this and NOT be the next Ruby Ridge, just buy land and keep your mouth shut. Sell to friends and keep your mouth shut. Build your community and keep your mouth shut.

Eric made a dumb move by making all this public. CPS will now target all those kids, antifa will target the property, and jews etc will target with any BS lawfare they can just because they hate you.

Worst case scenario, some new type of overreaching legal precedent gets set so we can’t even do this they way I described.
