As the architect of Ziopopulism, which has replaced True Conservatism in the Trump era, I think his thoughts on the state of the movement are worth watching. Basically, Ziopopulism concedes most of the traditional nationalist demands – on immigration enforcement, on mass deportations, on stopping the Great Replacement, on cultural degeneration, increasingly on race, on confronting anti-White discrimination, on addressing trade imbalances, and so on. It makes space for all that in the mainstream. I know there are people who disagree and there is a lot to criticize about the way Trump had addressed these issues like his whimsical tariffs, but I think a good faith effort is being made.
In exchange for all of these various concessions, we are invited to support Netanyahu’s mad policies, which go far beyond what was tolerated in the days when the Republican establishment gave lip service to the two state solution. The IDF doesn’t have time to inspect or move bodies all the time from the battlefield, and neither did the US during Vietnam. Hopefully you won’t have to witness the realities of war. Trump would have on a bigger victory if he wasn’t saddled with the Israel Lobby. If he had been decisively America First on foreign policy, if he had a clear and decisive antiwar message, he would have won Minnesota and Nebraska’s second district, in addition to all the states and districts he actually won.
When Trump forced a ceasefire in Gaza in his first two months in office, he had a 55% approval rating among voters aged 18-29, record high for a Republican president. After the genocide recommended, and Trump bombed both Yemen and Iran to support the genocide, his approval rating among voters aged 18-29 plummeted to 25%, an all-time record low.
The Israel Lobby is an electoral liability, but it is a massive boon for all the politicians, consultants and staffers who get rich with Israel Lobby money, including the “golden parachute” of high priced speaking gigs, book deals and sinecures for retired politicians.
Trump isn’t going to regain support by sending Yoram Hazony to wag his finger at young voters. All Trump really needs to do is release the Epstein files and end all US support for Israel, which would instantly stop the Gaza genocide.
