I’m still a secessionist.
I still support a National Divorce. It is my preferred option.
The last month or so though has really highlighted the difference between what I would like to see happen and what I think will happen which I have discussed at times in the comments.
1. First, America is arguably more deeply divided today than it was in the 1850s and 1860s, but it is divided in several different ways – rural vs. urban, Heartland vs. Coasts, educated women vs. working class men, etc. – and the Mason-Dixon line isn’t the fault line of our national division.
2. Second, the West Coast is the most disaffected section that is losing power and influence in the Union, and the South is the section that is becoming more dominant. The unrest is concentrated among White liberals in Northern and Western big cities. Stephen Miller is correct that the residents of Dothan, AL would be unphased by the presence of the National Guard because they see themselves as patriotic “Real Americans.” Federal installations are under assault in cities like Portland. White rural Southerners aren’t burning the flag or plotting to secede from the Union. The governor of Illinois is in rebellion.
3. Third, we are seeing the beginning of the Gilded Sunbelt era where political power, wealth and cultural influence is shifting away from places like New York City and Los Angeles to the Sunbelt. Watching Northern and Western Democrats crying “states rights” as the Texas National Guard is deployed to Oregon and Illinois to impose Reconstruction on violent leftists has been very amusing.
If there is a “Civil War 2” or some kind of conflict, we are more likely to end up on the Union side.
Note: Redistricting and the Supreme Court entertaining a major challenge to the Voting Rights Act could fuel this power shift in Congress ahead of the 2030 Census.
It finally feels like we’re starting to move beyond the post-World War II moral framework.
The disaffection of the West Coast and Northern cities has naturally followed the demographic transformation of these places from White, solid Republican (Orange County) or White, working class JFK-Democrat (NYC) to Third World, radical Democrat, and worse. The key to this transformation was the 1965 immigration so-called “reform” act, allowing businessmen to import cheap labor and the radicalization of students from high school through university. Demography is destiny and “new Americans” in places like LA, Anaheim, NYC and Chicago joined with blacks, always voting anti-White, eventually driving out White people.
AOC was elected from a district that changed from 90% White and electing a White Democrat to 90% non-White and electing her. AOC ran on an explicitly anti-White platform; it’s time for White people to go away, their time has passed. Mamdani is running for mayor of NYC on a similar platform even though he has toned down the explicitly ant-White rhetoric lately. He is leading by about 20 points in opinion polls.
Without the Third World imports the radical Left would never be in the commanding position it has in places like Chicago and NYC. The so-called “Civil Rights” (sic) laws the Left passed in the 1950’s – 1960’s were also essential in wrecking the country but ultimately Demography is Destiny, something the Left understands all too well. White, sheltered, suburban liberals won’t understand this until Manuel and Shaniqua are on their doorstep and it’s too late then.
The perceived power of the South is an illusion as whites continue to decline at a more rapid pace demographically than others. After 2025, the young, Hispanic, and black populations that barely tipped 2024 in favor of Trump are gone for at least another generation, to say nothing of Trump’s tariff fiasco. 2026 is going to be a historic bloodbath against the GOP. They might lose the senate.
As for the voting rights act, that would require ultimately undoing constitutional amendments implemented as a result of 1865. The 14th and 15th amendments were specifically for blacks. Trying to subvert them to protect whites on the basis of reverse discrimination just further entrenches colorblond cuckservatism. 1. Change the voting rules where only those that some means to provide for themselves or have done so in the past and have now retired can vote in Federal elections.

3. Change the “illegal Supreme Court decision that took away “regional” Senate representation in the State Senate houses and changed it to proportional representation. Just a brief moment of thought tells you this is illegal because if it’s legal in the Federal government, States have “regional” not proportional representation, then why the hell would it be illegal in the State Senates? Well it’s not. They just made it up to give more power to Blacks. Period. This one ruling has caused a tremendous, massve, totally outlandish glitch and imbalance in the whole entire country. It meant that ONLY big cities had complete and total control over all State legislation. No one else mattered. This one vile, crooked ruling is the major pertinacious glitch that the left uses to stay in power. It’s a, if not the, major way that corruption has entered most every State. Thomas Jefferson warned about EXACTLY this. Directly laying out what would and has happened due to this vile ruling. This is EXACTLY why these governors can bleat on endlessly and let Antifa burn down their States. If the States with strong antifa representation did this in a “regional” representation State the Senators would tell the governor to stop this immediately or they would impeach them and find someone who would.
Now the objections are this is hard to do but it can be done with a over 50% majority vote. Is that harder, or easier than separating the US States and opening that huge can of worms. It only takes assertion and people in office willing to stop listening to their overlords and this could be a done deal. Along with these first steps then we would have the political power be to make all sorts of changes to stop this incessant slide in to stupidity and madness.
