Axios: Trump’s Immigration Erosion Worries His Team

Let us count the ways the Trump administration is out over its skis:

  • Ruling Congress with an iron fist in spite of having a razor thin majority in the House to the point of alienating and even purging longtime allies like Marjorie Taylor Greene
  • Reducing Venezuela to an American colony to “take the oil” when the global price of oil is low and American oil majors have little interest in investing there
  • Transforming Venezuela into a black box which could go sideways on the Trump administration in half a dozen ways to impress Venezuelans in heavily Republican Florida
  • Gearing up for another major strike on Iran to topple the Iranian regime which has already proven to be extremely divisive, unpopular and which has little domestic upside
  • Ignoring the cost of living and the economy which is what voters overwhelmingly want Trump and the GOP to focus on instead of stupid overseas adventures for donors
  • Failing to end the war in Ukraine while starting two brand new Lindsey Graham adventures in Iran and Venezuela on top
  • The pointless Greenland adventure knowing that Congress will never purchase Greenland for $700 billion dollars or authorize the use of force to attack the territory of a NATO ally
  • Using the DOJ to go after the chairman of the Federal Reserve because the Trump administration is unhappy with interest rates
  • Theatrical ICE raids in Deep Blue zip codes where caped White libtards like Renee Good want illegal aliens to stay instead of picking low hanging fruit and deporting millions of illegal aliens where it matters in Red States and Purple States without the negative publicity

The common denominator of MAGA’s “FAFO Doctrine” is being drunk on power, addicted to grandstanding and not caring about how any of these moves play or their political consequences.

Axios:

President Trump’s team recently reviewed private GOP polling that showed support for his immigration policies falling. The results, reflected in public surveys, bolstered internal concern about the administration’s confrontational enforcement tactics.

Now, as the chaotic scenes from Minnesota play out around the clock on TV and social media, Axios has learned that some Trump advisers quietly are talking about “recalibrating” the White House’s approach — though it’s unclear what changes Trump would embrace, if any. …”

ICE could be sent anywhere in America.

What sense does it make to focus on Will Stancil’s zip code in Minneapolis?

Axios:

“More than a week of continuous protests in Minnesota provoked the ire of President Trump, but they don’t show signs of winding down. …”

CNN:

“Public opinion on nearly every aspect of President Donald Trump’s first year back in the White House is negative, a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS finds, with a majority of Americans saying Trump is focused on the wrong priorities and doing too little to address cost of living.

A majority, 58%, calls the first year of Trump’s term a failure.

There’s hardly any good news in the poll for Trump or the Republican Party entering a critical midterm year, with the president’s handling of the economy looming as the defining issue in key House and Senate races. …”

At the end of the day, I get the sense that MAGA cares more about getting little dopamine hits from clips and reels of flexing on its various political enemies than accomplishing anything or building a coalition that can endure beyond the midterm elections. The Trump administration could spend the next three years emptying Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, North Carolina, Nevada, Arizona and Texas of illegal aliens without any of these theatrical Star Wars-like standoffs that are undermining its popular support. It isn’t really important to remove illegal aliens from Minneapolis, Portland, Los Angeles, Chicago or New York City. It won’t change the politics of those cities and states.

  1. Again, R U getting paid 2 blackpill? also trumps not going 2 pass an amnesty remember in his first term he said he’d be open 2 giving the daca dipshits amnesty and that didn’t happen

    • No, I have never supported most foreign interventions. I’ve been very consistent on this since I started this blog. I voted for Ron Paul in 2008 and 2012

  2. Trump seems to be most heavily influenced by the last person to speak to him, especially if they know how to appeal to his vanity through flattery.

  3. Axios is hardly a balanced outlet to consider Trump’s progress. Might as well as asked Pravda what they thought of Reagan’s first year in office.

Gas prices are going down unlike when you made a fuss about them.

Inflation is down to its lowest level before COVID.

Everyone loves to hear that the Trump Administration is stirring up a hornets nest in Minneapolis. They want to see more hornets eliminated and the whole nest firebombed.

Right now Trump is openly considering declaring MN in a state of insurrection which will allow him to arrest the entire leftist power structure in the State. The Minnesota operation is threatening an apex power point of the Democrat Occupied Government and it’s criminal racketeers. Once exposed and eliminated the Dems will never recover.

All Democrat hands whether in disguise or overtly are now on deck trying to modulate and manage perceptions. They hope to get Trump to pause. The really hope their dupes on the Right and inside the Administration will challenge Trump and his grass roots leaders to change direction.

In reality, if Trump continues forward in MN, the left and the Dem party are threatened with annihilation. A situation that will only accelerate under a declaration of insurrection. Having the HRT swooping and scoop up Walz and have a prepared PR campaign ready followed by indictment will obliterate the Democrat narrative. At that point it’s over for the party as the whole house of cards across the country will fall on itself once more and more of its too is exposed and it’s leaders arrested.

MGT has gone libtard on news and is already forgotten.

Venezualan oil in now directly sold by the USG and it’s profits are deposited in USG accounts to be used for investment back into Venezuala by USG. We don’t need the oil majors. This was a process similar to what happened in certain places in the third world during days of European Empires. The result was the creation of large European oil companies capable of challenging the American oil companies giants. Some of them are around today such as BP and the Royal Dutch Shell. Given the American Oil Company majors are fully integrated into the globalist architecture creating a USG directed oil company in control of the largest oil reserves in the world will challenge their power and force them back under the influence of the USG. This is a massive power shift and I welcome it.

“Gearing up for another major strike on Iran to topple the Iranian regime which has already proven to be extremely divisive, unpopular and which has little domestic upside.”

Right now the media being leftist and Democrat is deliberately suppressing into on the evil Mullahs responses. So, the American people are unaware of what is going on there. Instead they are as you pointed out divided on what do with Iran. Geopolitics trumps public opinion. Trump will do what is necessary to secure American dominance and ultimately see the Mullahs fall. They are already prepared to flee like rats with billions of dollars and hard currency being taken out of the country to secure the Mullahs when they go into exile and become a transnational conspiracy organization without a State.

“Ignoring the cost of living and the economy which is what voters overwhelmingly want Trump and the GOP to focus on instead of stupid overseas adventures for donors.”

Cost of living is going down. Every single job created under Trump has gone to Americans, the first time that has happened since I was an adult. The opinion polls, especially by Axios, are disguising this increases confidence and happiness. I already present polls that showed as of Dec 25 the majority of Americans supported Trump’s actions in Iran including the bombing of its nuclear infrastructure. You like to pick polls that occurr during a crises to justify promoting inaction. You are doing the same here by trusting Axios polls in inflation which the Dems have strategized to beat the GOP over. We are still 11 months from the mid terms. Economic situation could strengthen further and the Dems will lose any hope on that angle.

“Failing to end the war in Ukraine while starting two brand new Lindsey Graham adventures in Iran and Venezuela on top
The pointless Greenland adventure knowing that Congress will never purchase Greenland for $700 billion dollars or authorize the use of force to attack the territory of a NATO ally.”

The Ukraine war will soon be over on good terms. Another notch on Trump’s belt. We are going to get Greenland at least in all but name. Venezuala is already a win and all the Dems have is grumbling and a compliant media to ignore any positives of its actions. Same with Iran. The country is closely divided, and will not budge except for a small percentages. Those continue to mostly accrue to the GOP. Their ability to exploit these opportunities under these difficult conditions are why you aren’t seeing more opinion polls positives. Come election day, the American people are going to trounce the Democrats.

“Using the DOJ to go after the chairman of the Federal Reserve because the Trump administration is unhappy with interest rates.”

The right is ecstatic about going after the Fed. Well except for b.s. liberals hiding behind libertarianism like Rand Paul who is thoroughly nonplussed cuz it’s being done by Trump proving his investigate the fed talk his b.s. What I see happening is old Right persons and movement collapsing under Trump national conservative moves or being marginalized by them.

“Theatrical ICE raids in Deep Blue zip codes where caped White libtards like Renee Good want illegal aliens to stay instead of picking low hanging fruit and deporting millions of illegal aliens where it matters in Red States and Purple States without the negative publicity.”

False. We get no extra bounce going after these areas right now. The margins are too favorable to make a difference. In contrast going after the criminal power centers exposes the extent of the corruption. But for ICE raids we wouldn’t know about the extent of the Somali Democrat fraud scheme. Without Woke Karen Demons like Goode trying to run down ICE and Jew Criminals like Frey declaring resistance we wouldnt have such a strong predicate to declare insurrection and launch a full bore deportation.

Trump’s actions are working. They might not be as aggressive in some areas as I’d like but I can see them taking shape in a manner to overcome the media blockades, Dem talking points and their insurgency. This is classic political maneuvering strategy and Trump is outmaneuvering the Dems. We are winning. You are just complaining because Trump isn’t being an isolationist and building a wall around your fishing hole and reducing the military to a border patrol force around it.

  4. I doubt America has blue states. It has blue CITIES. Jim Bob from rural Ohio likely fully supports what ice are doing.
It’s often a city vs country thing, not north vs south.
That’s my perception from the outside looking in.
