Tom Homan Pulls 700 ICE Agents Out Of Minnesota

Everyone should have a good laugh at the expense of Mystery Grove.

Donald Trump’s reality television immigration enforcement operation in Minnesota is winding down. Trump is settling for a thousand or so criminal illegal aliens in Minnesota jails.

Axios:

“The Trump administration will withdraw 700 federal immigration agents from Minnesota “effective immediately,” border czar Tom Homan announced Wednesday.

Why it matters: It’s a major de-escalation from an immigration enforcement operation that killed two Americans, hollowed out the local U.S. Attorney’s Office and proved to be deeply unpopular. …”

As I previously noted, even the criminals in Minnesota who were arrested by ICE and Border Patrol are simply being released by federal judges. Tom Homan assures us that he isn’t “surrendering.” Every illegal alien in America will be deported even if that takes over 50 years at his pace.

New York Times:

“The Trump administration has gone to great lengths to arrest and detain as many people as possible during its immigration crackdown. But in recent weeks, a deluge of court cases has led federal judges to release hundreds of immigrant detainees back into the country, and threatens to overwhelm the court system.

In case after case, federal judges have found that the Trump administration has been ignoring longstanding legal interpretations that mandate the release of many people who are taken into immigration custody if they post a bond. …”

What about the Somali fraud?

It appears no one is going down for that either.

Mystery Grove:

“Bigger humiliations were in store for the Influencer Right in January 2026. Operation Metro Surge represented the centerpiece of Trump’s revamped immigration efforts. In response to revelations of massive immigrant-led fraud from a citizen journalist, the Trump administration deployed upwards of 3,500 federal agents to Minneapolis. It is the biggest DHS operation in history, and is still ongoing as I’m writing this.

At literally every stage of Operation Metro Surge, large portions of the Influencer Right demonstrated that their instincts are terrible and that they are totally unsuited for the imaginary leadership/advisory role that they have assumed for themselves. Not everyone got everything wrong at all times, but it was obvious that these idiots generally had no idea what they were talking about. …

Fortunately for everyone, the Trump administration stayed the course and ignored the rightwing commentariat. Liberals quickly bit off more than they could chew with a disastrous BLM raid, led by former CNN host Don Lemon, on a local church whose pastor was suspected of working for ICE. It seems very unlikely that liberals would have chosen to escalate in this way if Trump had decided to trigger a standoff between local leftists and the military. The Trump administration immediately promised criminal charges for the raiders, even sending high level officials like Attorney General Pam Bondi and DOJ Civil Rights division head Harmeet Dhillon to directly oversee the case. …

After weeks of turmoil, the Trump administration prevailed in Minneapolis: Although the initial stance of state and local officials was to refuse all cooperation with the Feds, basically allowing liberal activists to break the law with impunity as part of their obstruction efforts, gradually Democrat politicians reversed course. …”

It is true that Don Lemon was arrested though.

He was released and didn’t even have to post bail. He has since attended the Grammys. He appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s show. Nothing is going to happen to Don Lemon either.

  1. Trump is a bully and a coward.

Internationally, he is a bully, attacking anyone who seems vulnerable even if they didn’t do anything to hurt America (Denmark, Venezuela, Yemen, Iran, Palestine).

Domestically, he is a coward who backs down when Antifa attacks.

  2. Yet another example of our government’s bungling incompetence. If our government can’t torment us with malicious policies they’ll fill in the gaps with inept actions.

  3. Trump is targeting middle of the road independents who are very much needed for the mid-terms. He does not realize that these swing voters elected him in 2024 on the basis of his promise to boost jobs and slash inflation – and his economic performance has been more theater and bragging rather than any real improvements. Either way, he is going to lose.

I always vote Republican because Republican rule is an order of magnitude better than Democrat rule. If I were an Ohioan, I would vote for Vivek even though I detest him personally. But most right leaning folks are not like me. Trump will lose a large part of the right leaning vote as well.

Overall, it looks like a Democrat/Woke victory in 2026. Maybe 2028 will be better.

  4. But wait…could there be something coming in to take their place?

Elon was seen standing by Trump the other day…maybe it is time for the release of the … (ta da!) … Fahrenheit 451 inspired “Mechanical Hound”!!! Several dozens of these autonomous assassins could replace the entire 700 easily.

AI answered my question — are we capable of building a Mechanical Hound like in the book Fahrenheit 451 today:

Yes, we possess the technology to build a version of the Mechanical Hound from Fahrenheit 451 today, but it would differ in design and legal application compared to the book. While we cannot create an exact, spider-legged, autonomous killing machine, we have already developed the fundamental components: advanced robotic mobility, AI-driven tracking, and lethal delivery systems.

Here is how modern technology compares to the Hound described in the book:

Robotic Mobility: The Hound is described with eight legs, rubber-padded paws, and the ability to leap. Today, quadruped robots like Boston Dynamics’ Spot or Unitree Go1 are capable of navigating complex, uneven terrain with high agility. While four-legged is the current standard, an eight-legged, spider-like design is technically feasible.

Olfactory Tracking (Scent): The Hound can “identify 10,000 odor indexes on 10,000 men without resetting”. Researchers have already developed robotic bloodhounds capable of tracking ground scents. In 2024, specialized robots (like the “Digidog”) are increasingly used for surveillance and detecting chemical/biological threats.

The Killing Mechanism: The Hound uses a 4-inch, hollow, venomous needle to inject anesthetic/poison. While this exact mechanism is not used in civilian robots, military and police drones can carry and deploy lethal payloads. As of 2025, military-grade robot dogs have been demonstrated with mounted weapons.

Autonomous Operation: The Hound acts autonomously once set on a trajectory. While we are advancing in AI, most, if not all, robotic weapons in the real world currently require a human in the loop to make the final decision to kill, rather than being completely, autonomously lethal.

    Conclusion
We have the “copper wire, storage batteries, and electricity” to build a machine with similar capabilities. The primary difference lies in the total autonomy and social acceptance of a fully independent machine designed specifically for surveillance and assassination.

But we should probably put a note on the side of the hounds:

Notice to illegals: Please do not eat. This is not a pet. (signed by VP: JD Vance)

  5. “It seems very unlikely that liberals would have chosen to escalate in this way if Trump had decided to trigger a standoff between local leftists and the military.”

Exactly what this right wing influencer has been saying for decades. Had Trump used the military to suppress insurrection, rebellions, racketeering and criminal conspiracy, the left would’ve been squashed. Instead, another group of rightwing influencers surrounding Hunter Wallace said it would be better to use ICE because of optics. Well that didn’t age well.

My suggestion was to use this standoffs with the insurrectionists as causi belli to declare insurrection. That would’ve worked even better. It looks like Homan convinced Trump that we could ICE our way out of this thereby giving him a life time sinecure to get to that unrealistic objective.

Let’s see what happens from here. If in fact this is going to be the maximum amount of pressure the Trump Administration undertakes to deport illegal aliens, and it results in hundreds of Democrat localities resisting they way Minneapolis has done, then it’s total failure. If that is the case expect this just to be the beginning of various retreats that will turn into a route and ultimately the takeover Congress by the Democrats.

Depending on how the Administration responds to this, the Minneapolis operation might very well be the decisive turning point where the Democrats went on the counter offensive leading to Trump ultimatelj being frog walked into prison like Maduro. After that the Dems will drill down and likely resettle hundreds of thousands of third worlders into Hunter’s Fishing Hole, Alabama, the rest of the South and American will be lost. Hunter will never be able to go fishing again. But hey, he wanted to ICE his way out of a Northern elite third world backed conquest of our country. Catastrophic decision.

  6. The propagators of the “American idea” claim nothing less than: “America is an idea, it will live on even without white people!” No wonder white “Americans” sense the deception and feel racial resistance stirring within them.

  7. “Americans” are raised with the misconception that a brain fart is intellectual freedom. The German concept of intellectual freedom is inconceivable without overcoming resistance.

  8. Americans are intellectual lightweights. It’s no wonder that their naivety makes them such easy prey for their mortal enemies.

  9. White Americans have high hopes for their supposedly half-German president, Donald Trump. But Germans would prefer his successful father. Germans are completely indifferent to this guy, and I suspect the same goes for the Scots. Even the dumbest among us have long since realized what kind of person this economic failure but political winner is.

  10. Americans offer Europeans an advantage in all situations. When it comes to their own stupidity, sloppiness, and weakness, they just need to point across the ocean: “Just look and listen to them, compared to them even we are complete novices when it comes to absolute stupidity!”

  11. The unspeakably deranged “American patriot” Quackory Schlongson, who has never had sex with women (is there even such a thing as “sex,” meaning intercourse, between people of the same sex?), claims in the comments under his own “article” (or whatever this gibberish is supposed to “represent”) that a white 17-year-old young man who has sexual intercourse with a white 16-year-old young woman would be “raping” her because both are “acting against their will.” This guy undoubtedly belongs in the loony bin.

As expected, the equally perverse Muslim sycophant Kevin Barrett also weighs in on the Epstein issue, without, however, addressing the regular occurrence of “child marriages” in Islam or his “prophet” Muhamad’s underage “mistresses.”

  12. “For all the “drawdown” talk ICE continues to be all over Minneapolis. Feels endless.
Homan is smarter than Bovino (no real feat, there). He understands that if he does stuff that signals that we’re in the denouement of the crisis, media will move on. But brutality with observers is escalating, ICE is still omnipresent. Little sign on the ground that it’s over.
They’ve changed their tactics to be more “secret police” than “open military occupation.” My sense is that more people are getting grabbed in early hours of the morning. Feels like they’re trying to scare observers off. No one has left hiding”
    – Will Stancil (on BlueSky)

Anti-white activist Will Stancil doesn’t seem particularly emboldened by the withdrawal. Now that local and state police officers are cooperating, not as many ICE agents are needed and they could be put to better use elsewhere. I have to say, I did not expect you to take the Mystery Grove comment so personally.
