ACN you are correct about the missile factor. We’ve run some calculations on it. It indeed is the main factor. If the current operation’s objectives are successful the Alliance will have enough plus a buffer.

In the South I never came in contact with blacks (except working on local farms during summer breaks and my school was not integrated until the year after I graduated from high school) or jews either until I went to a southern university and even then there were very few blacks enrolled and the jews had their own fraternity so my contact was very limited (I think the was one Jew in my Physics classes. Similar to yours, 75% Virginia Chesapeake colonists from 1607-1670s. The rest were French-Italian colonists in Louisiana and Haiti in the 1700s, an Irish immigrant patato famine immigrant, and a couple late 1800s English immigrants.
The pre-Revolutionary War settlers, including the French ones, all fought in the War of Independence and the War of Southern Independence. Almost all were planters or frontier ascendency folk and therefore most owned slaves. Thru them if the geneological records are correct, Hunter and I are directly related to the fourth degree twice over. The Griffins were a very prominent aristocratic family.
Many of the my Southern ancestors were accordingly key individuals in the Southern resistance during Reconstruction and therefore likely members of the KKK. There are a couple who were founding members of the 2nd Klan. They were very serious folk, served in all of America’s wars, or were gunfighters and lawmen during the interregnum between Reconstruction and WWI. None were Jews.

My family may not have fought in early wars but they weren’t pushovers either. Frankly, they were barbarians at times. Members of families get into fights and kill each other. That happened in ours. And some were just plain evil: maybe this was not my family members but my father told me one story about these family members or their associates who shanghaied a drunk off the streets and would sober him up and make him work on their ship and about week a later, hit in the back of the head with an iron skillet and fed him to the fish.
