My take on Rubio’s statement is that, during the Twelve-Day War, Israel was taking a pounding from Iran. So, Trump declared victory (while forcing a negotiated ceasefire on Israel). However, the Iranians made it clear that IF Israel attacked them again, they would attack American bases and troops.

Yes. There have been several “Churches” throughout history. The Most Most ancient church, which was the longest lived was the Adamic church. The Most Ancient Church which was the Noahite Church, the Ancient Church which was Israel Church, and then the Churches of Christ.
Replace Church with religion, the patriarchs of the tables of nations with the prophets and religious rulers, and the Sects of Christianity and compare with the Book of Revelation and you start to get a better understanding. Christians are the heirs of Israel. Christ himself and Paul said so. But they also said to not brag for the branch that was broken off, Israel, can and would be grafted back in and how much more glorious would it be than the others when it was so. We should also not forget that most of the so called “Jews” of the Roman era did convert to Christianity.
Spreading the Gospel to the Jews, is part of that process into continuation of today. The Jews meanwhile have slowly become more enkightened of their own religion which not coincidentally makes it more amenable to becoming the Christian Church as it existed during the Apostolic days. Someday, the current country of Israel will be Christian. Perhaps not in the Catholic or Orthodox or State religions of the past but Christian none the less. In turn, it will help restore and reform the present day Christian churches. It will happen.
