Poll Watch: Thomas Massie Edges Ed Gallrein

The Thomas Massie vs. Ed Gallrein race in Kentucky appears to be turning into a referendum on Trump, MIGA, Standing With Israel and the future of the Republican Party.

Note: The recent Pew poll also found a very similar age divide among Republicans on Israel.

  1. Mr. Massie is a thoroughly likable character, America would do well to elect him president one day. But betting on a single bright mind is not enough, for the dark forces never sleep, and will eliminate him if necessary.

    “Gallrein” of German origin,
I have never heard it before.

  2. Gallrein is being supported by Paul Singer’s money.

That means that Gallrein is not allowed to be too conservative on issues like immigration and gay rights.

There is a huge opportunity for Massie to outflank Gallrein to the right on immigration and social issues, and win this election in a blowout.

Massie already has the young vote because he is antiwar. He can steal the elderly vote too if he lets people know he is more conservative than Gallrein is allowed to be.

I was glad to see the Massie campaign drawing attention to the fact that 84% of Gallrein’s donors are registered Democrats from places like New York City.

  3. Automatic Selective Service registration for 18 YO coming in December of this year, conveniently after the November elections.

The military can’t get enough smart, reliable, White, Christian guys into the military, especially the Navy, to operate their high-tech weapons systems. The first ones to be drafted will be smart, reliable, White, Christian guys with a smattering of oddball wogs so they can claim it’s not just Whites getting drafted. Naturally, the super wealthy, politically connected, The Usual Suspects, civilian police and fire and others with strong political organisations will be exempt.

Hopefully, there will be huge opposition to conscription like it’s 1970 all over again and the system fails. If avoiding conscription was good enough for DJT, Rush Limbaugh, Bill Clinton and the rest of the Great and the Good baby boomers it’s good enough for everyone else this time around too.

  4. Finally, some good news. It would be a terrible shame to lose the only congressman not under the control of AIPAC.
