You are correct in your analysis. Going after the employers is the way to go. But, let’s be frank, a slight majority of illegals do work for Mom and pop homes and stores, at least in the West. You would have to tailor it to go after employers with x number of employers. You’d have to tailor it to encourage illegals to report on the employers. You would have to tailor it to increase the penalties. I think the later haven’t increases since like the 1990s. Ultimately you would still have workplace raids, large scale operations in which dragnets form around businesses with support from local law enforcement while federala go in and take the work. Also, the scale and size of illegals now is equal to hundreds of small cities. The businesses themselves are run by illegals. It’s straight colonization at scale. So, you would still need a massive force of us Marshals coordinating a domestic national campaign of deputized law enforcement, national guard wrenching down hundreds of area with stacked federal authorities like the insurrection act to break thru the cordon of legal aid socieities, political groups, judges, and local officials who would block at every turn. The Homan-Wallace-Clytemnesta approach is insufficient at this point even for the South.

But, every time I’ve had to deal with them they’ve been anything but aggressive and generally very pious and personal. I think these action groups are some minority group within their sect working for some rabbi seeking some power consolidation within the Haredi political groups.
I know in Israel they often enrage the common Israelis with their political demands for exemption from the military, state funding for their private yeshivas and mini kibbutzes, and welfare for infinity children as well as these roving beat gangs. I kind of view them as the extreme faction of Ayatollahs back in the 1950s which gave birth to the Islamic Revolutionary Republic.
In fact there is a danger of that occurring in Israel. Haredi have huge birth rates and now number line 15% of all Israelis. The militant Haredi Rabbis could take power in some revolutionary moment, rename Israel the Jewish Revolutionary Republic of Israel, make the Grand Chief Rabbi the head of the theocratic part of the new Republic. Then they would grant themselves all sorts of new privileges and exemptions just like the Ayotallaha do in Iran. But so far the Israelis are pushing back, limiting their roving beating gangs, forbidding military exemptions, and withdrawing state funding for yeshivas, kibbutzes and welfare orgs that do not have Haredis that serve in the military. Too bad the Iranians didn’t do that with the damned Mad Mullahs. Like Israelis most Iranians are fairly decent people and the Haredi don’t represent the norm any more than the Mad Mullahs.
A post I must admit, I agree with. It’s mostly the Haredi from what I read also who engage in egregious conduct, not the average Israeli who apparently is also despised by the Haredi. Unfortunately, too many Israelis, particularly in government turn a blind eye to such conduct.
It’s their version of the ‘knockout game’ the dusky types were playing in Brooklyn a few years ago against Jews and Asians mostly. Equally reprehensible conduct.
